Just go this bulletin on CNN: 7.2 magnitude earthquake strikes near Christchurch, New Zealand, USGS says.

Paula Sillars Lots of tremors and after shocks and still no power - phone system overloaded - cant get hold of Roberts Mum to see if she is ok - lounge awash from fish tank - stuff fallen and off shelves but no major structural damage but waiting for daylight to see for sure

Just did a check of available categories and found a slew of cabins available.

Cat 12, 11, 8 and 7 are available but GTY
Cat 10 had 8 cabins to choose from, all on deck 1
Cat 9 had 3 cabins to choose from, all on deck 2

Don't have time now, but might make another call later today to try and move my cabin. They probably won't be able to since cat 11s are GTY, but hey, its worth a shot at least for the amusement factor to see what answer I would get as to why they couldn't move me.

I sure hope Laura can get on a flight to Madrid or something. I figured the airport would be crazy today. Thank God for extra days before the cruise. Yes they are on the MED Wednesday (B2B). They were going to have a few days in Barcelona to sightsee.....but maybe not now!!

Just had a letter from Disney telling us that we need to bring with us the ESTA application response as a record of our application number and to confirm our status.

No problem with that but the application response we have from ESTA only has the application number on it & the expiration date on it, but no details about who it relates to.

Is that OK ?

The application response also states that you are not required to present a copy of your authorization in order to travel & therefore why is Disney asking for it.?

The best footwear for the Baths are sturdy water shoes that fit tight to your foot (e.g., Lands End with toggle); nothing slippery or loose on your foot like flip-flops.

Bob destroyed his ankle last year, plates, pins the whole nine yards so don't want a repeat performance but if your granmother can do I am sure he can. val

I'm guessing that DCL don't have the experience of Esta like airlines as this is the first cruise taking people into the US from countries requiring Esta acceptance since it has come in properly. We also only have the print out acceptance with the number. As you say we aren't required to show a copy. We will all have to tell DCL, but I bet they want to fight us!!!

well i posted last night the bank had taken out a Standing Order that they should not well its all sorted and i did not get any charges

now back to packing

clothes have been altered SO THIS WEEKEND I CAN DO FINAL PACKING !!!

13 days then my holiday begins !!!

I thought it was all supposed to be electronic. When we go through immigration, they swipe our passports and our status should come up.
