Did anyone write down the dining rotations and can let me know what they were .... I realy don't want to have to trawl back through all our posts :eek:

I had this in a file so may not be completely accurate for WBTA. Hope this helps somewhat.

What are the possible Dining Rotation times based on recent cruises?
7 day cruise
APL 5:30 and 8:00
PLA 5:45 and 8:15
LAP 6:00 and 8:30

Well, I will be on my own tonight. :scared: I have been struggling trying to get CPAP supplies for Dennis. Long story, original sleep center no longer has records (more than 10 years old), the place we were getting them can't send them now because we moved, new place can't send them without a prescription. On and on...he now gets his medical care from the VA, they can't supply without a study. His mask is in really bad shape....so, I called the VA this morning to see when they can get him in for a study and WHOA!! they had a cancellation and he can go tonight. :cheer2: And they will send him home with a new mask! :cool1:But, that leaves me here without him. :sad2: The VA hospital is 125 miles away so he will be gone from 6 tonight until 8 tomorrow morning. Probably doesn't sound bad to many, but we are "joined at the hip" and have not been apart for more than an hour or two at a time since we retired 2 years ago.....I will miss him. :sad1:

I am going through a similar drama trying to get a new CPAP for Bob. He is eligible to go to the VA but we are using my insurance and trying to get one through APRIA. With the way our prescription costs are going up we will be looking into VA soon.
I also sympathize with how you feel with him being away overnight. Bob and I are together 7/24 since I retired 4 years ago. People said it would drive us nuts but that is not the case. I love it. We each have cell phones for when we are away from each other for even a short time. When he went for his sleep study 3 years ago I called him multiple times during the night.

Hope all goes well. val

not so much fun as it might be without a fractured hand and a splint on :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Hold the wine in the other hand! :lmao::rotfl2::laughing:

Oh I remember 18 years ago PAYING $20 (on special) for a Prodigy disc - that would "allow" me to get on to their network - in addition to get on the WWW we had to dial up through the local community college. I have to say I was very hesitant to transition out of Prodigy when they moved everything out into the "big unknown world of the internet" as I liked my BB and my life there! But they shut it down and forced me out - I think I have adjusted :)

Krisann

We started on Prodigy also,:surfweb: with dial up. :) We still have an unopened Prodigy disc from when they later started giving them away at WalMart. Did I mention that Dennis keeps EVERYTHING!!!

Off to pick up John at work. Had my scrub, massage, facial, hair coloring & cut done on Thursday. Also did my mani and pedi yesterday. Will get makeup done in Santa Rose for tonight.

Yes, Paula I do remember BB. My dad worked at SRI where the internet was pretty much invented for DARPA.

I will try to check in later if I can as I know how easy it is to get 10+ pages behind!!

I started with Prodigy, back when they assigned user names.

I really loved the first design, but looks like the majority prefers the second one. I like this, too.

Thank You ... I know I just have my son Destin and I on the roll call ... I hadnt added Helen cause we didnt know for sure if she would be able to make it ...(were still going through immigration process , we finally have our interview and hope it gets approved on July 28th) , then we have to get her Schengen Visa for most of the Med trip so we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off ... all this and we still dont know if my step son Sean (Helens) son will make it ....He is listed and paid for to go but dont know if we will be able to get him from Manila prior ....If he does make it , he will probably fly to the states around Sept 3rd , then turn around and fly with us to Spain on the 6th ....And all this is provided he gets his Schengan approved later today (its actually Wednesday in Manila right now ) at the Spanish Embassy in Manila ...

So if he does get approved for the Schengan , then it will be US immigration's turn to expedite his paper work .. so we are working on it ferociously ...

This is why I am not on the boards much, because were so tied up with my regular work plus getting everything in line for Helen to become a Legal Resident here in the States ....

(Sorry about the lil life story ..lol )

pirate:

I hope that all the formalities will go smoothly and that they will both be able to join us.

Well it's almost time for my trip to Paris!!!

I've got 2 days in the city and 2 at Disney, i'm back late on Saturday so by my estimation that means i'll have 93 pages to catch up on :lmao:

I plan to try and check in a couple of times, i've read there is free wifi in some public spots in the city, though i've never tried it for myself....

Have a wonderful 4 days of planning, and please don't talk about anything related to the Cruise, Disney, Outfits, or Ladies Undergarments whilst i'm away....:rotfl:

Missing you all already

SW

I know that you will read this when you get back, but I hope you have a wonderful time in Paris.

I keep seeing that women need to have their legs covered to go into churches in Europe. Does that mean I need to wear pants, skirts or can you wear capris? I am assuming that means no shorts. Should you also wear closed shoes and not sandals?

The usual rule is that shoulders and knees need to be covered.

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for all the kind wishes and well wishes on our immigration process ...It seems the Spanish Embassy pushed back Sean interview till Thursday so later tonight we should know hopefully on his Schengan ..

On a brighter note my oldest son Dylan is now a High School graduate ....He should have graduated in June with his class but he came up 1.5 credits short .. Well as of yesterday he passed all his remaining classes and will be receiving his High School Diploma (finally....wahooooooo) from his actual High School ....This weekend he should be going to Salt Lake City as he has made his final decision on which branch of the service he is going into and after a long time of thinking , he has chose the Army over the Navy (navy doesnt really have jobs avail right now ) So Hopefully we will find out his ship date by this coming Monday , and there is a slight chance he might make it on the cruise if his date is pushed to october... but either way it looks like Ft Benning or Jackson may be his home soon .... I am so proud of him , but will be sad to see him leave ...

pirate:

Congratulations to Dylan. You have every reason to be proud of him.

APRIA is who we used to get supplies from. Portland referred us to Salmon, ID because we moved. Salmon could not use the info from APRIA Portland and wanted a new prescription. Crazy since it is the same company, just a transfer of services, but in the end we are probably better off getting him set up to get them from the VA. He is Service Connected so there is no cost for us.
You should get Bob signed up at the VA right away. There is usually quite a wait time there (I was a Patient Advocate at the Portland VA before I retired). He earned the benefits and should use them....IMHO. :) If you need help or advice with anything let me know. I know the system very well.:thumbsup2 Prescriptions are either free, $8 or $9 per month supply, depending on his eligibility.

I am happy to hear another couple understands enjoying 24/7 together. I have done a ladies card club a couple of times to fill in for a friend, but I just didn't "love" it and would rather have been here playing cribbage with Dennis. :confused3:

Hey, ERIK, are you in charge of all these lists?!? My heart goes out to you! Anyway, I redid our rollcall. I put us on late dining and I put YES for FE gift lists. I thought I sent a photo of the 3 of us, but I can send another if I forgot please let me know!:grouphug:

No...thankfully I'm only in charge of the lanyard list. If I had to manage all the other lists and spreadsheets this board has created I'd be out of my mind! :lmao:

What is your (and people in your family's) favorite Disney Movie - both classic and "newer" (like toy story, Cars, etc.)

Hmm....for me my fave "classic" is probably The Little Mermaid and my fave new one is.....that's hard...I like Monsters Inc., I suppose...although I really enjoyed the Princess & the Frog, too....and I also love Mulan. Jason's favorite classic is Peter Pan and his favorite new film is probably Wall-E. We also, in terms of classics, both love Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

We are also on the B2B. I called DCL today (well, its after midnight, so yesterday) and they gave me our flight info. They also e-mailed us a detailed summary of our flights w/ our confirmation #, etc. So, call them and they should have your flight info. We are flying Delta from California (LAX) on Tuesday, 9-7 at 6:15 a.m. and have a 4 hour layover in Atlanta before boarding at 5:55 p.m. and arriving in BCN on Wednesday, 9-8at 8:55 a.m. Good luck!
Michelle

We finally got our flight information yesterday. We are on the same flight as you only on Monday afternoon and arriving in Barcelona on Tuesday. We fly out of Orlando on Monday at 2:30 and layover in Atlanta and then we fly out of Atlanta at 5:55 and arrive in BCN at 8:55 then next morning. That's good news for us and bad news....we were hoping to fly out later on Monday so we'd have more time in Orlando to hang by the pool...but we'll survive. It's good, though, that we have no European layover so we're 90% certain luggage won't be a problem. Jason packed our rolling carry-on (like a pilot size rolling suitcase that fits overhead on most planes) and it holds all the lanyards AND has room for some clothes or whatever else we may need to bring. It's also good because we arrive very early in Barcelona so we'll have a full day there which will be nice (although heaven only knows if we won't be sleeping off jetlag...depends how much sleep I can get on the plane)

Sounds fantastic, You guys are absolute Legends for doing this, And Erik, I know everyone has been thanking you, and you deserve it, but I know behind every great man there is a even greater.....man :confused3, So Please pass along a big Thank you to Jason as well. :flower3:

Indeed!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

....OK, a new batch of updates have been made to the lanyard list. Take a look at it HERE and let me know if there is anything that needs to be changed!

We're up to 264 people on the lanyard list....so that means I have only about 35 extras left....so speak up soon if you want one!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for offering to help with any VA questions. Would love to talk with you sometime about it. The main reason we haven't moved to the VA is due to the fact he has a number of medical issues and we really don't want to change doctors nor hospitals. I don't think they would let us just get our prescriptions from them?? Also, he will qualify for his military retirement next year (12 years active, 8 years active reserve) so we are thinking of looking into what that will give us. Anyway, don't want to bore everything with this here so would love to talk with you and the other retired military folks about this offline.

Disney is so wonderful to us military folks (here in the Bay Area, more so then the government). Last year we got a 5 day hopper pass for him and one for me for $100. This cruise the military rate is unbelieveable.

Would be happy to talk to you. Perhaps the 4 of us could have coffee at Cove Cafe one sea day.
