I have been looking at the flights that people are getting from disney and I see an interesting pattern
1: the flights are mostly full. Which makes me wonder if Disney gets a deal for helping to fill up planes. 2) Booking 2 years in advance don't you think we would get us better seats.
I am also on a basically full plane. I called Disney to make sure they knew they were dealing with a person using a scooter so when the seats are chosen most airlines have special seating for different needs.
Disney does not do any of this. I would have to call the airlines myself. To put it mildly I was not happy. When I got the info I would have to call the airline.
I got mine early than 60 days because I was afraid I would be put to far away from the washrooms. My mobility is not so great after sitting and trying to balance on a plane. Well I was able to move up a few there were only 6 seats left. Disney transportation actually release the info early I guess rethinking that I at least needed the chance to change seats.
Unfortunatley Air Canada is not great with customer service. I spent 45 minutes just trying to figure out were the washrooms were on the plane. The seating plan I was given was not matching what the Rep was telling me.
So after she moved our seats she puts me on hold. ( oh ans I was on hold for 15 minutes before I even talked to anyone) She comes back 10 minutes later and said you are right the seats are at the back at the plane. ( I am in seat 14 now
I would have to ask to use the first class washroom
Next I needed to talk to someone in medical but because the call took 45 minutes to basically get no where it was now closed.
So I get back on the phone the next day and we go through the seating again. She was not much better but said I did not need to ask permission to use the washrooms up front cause there was no first class.
Then it was what type of scooter I had and she checked each airplane:rolleyes
And then she said I needed medical clearance because I have MS. What

I said no I do not I read the list and I have nothing that even comes close to anything that would cause a problem.
Now I know why people go to Westjet. I sure do. They keep seating available for special needs. They keep a list of people who require special seating.
In fact I book to go to WDW. The next day I got a call to say my seats have already been assigned. Now that is service!!!!
It is all good cause I just plan to sleep the enitre flight so I will not have to care how far the washroom is
