Just wanted to say "Thank You" for all the kind wishes and well wishes on our immigration process ...It seems the Spanish Embassy pushed back Sean interview till Thursday so later tonight we should know hopefully on his Schengan ..

On a brighter note my oldest son Dylan is now a High School graduate ....He should have graduated in June with his class but he came up 1.5 credits short .. Well as of yesterday he passed all his remaining classes and will be receiving his High School Diploma (finally....wahooooooo) from his actual High School ....This weekend he should be going to Salt Lake City as he has made his final decision on which branch of the service he is going into and after a long time of thinking , he has chose the Army over the Navy (navy doesnt really have jobs avail right now ) So Hopefully we will find out his ship date by this coming Monday , and there is a slight chance he might make it on the cruise if his date is pushed to october... but either way it looks like Ft Benning or Jackson may be his home soon .... I am so proud of him , but will be sad to see him leave ...

pirate:

Congrats to Dylan!

Keeping fingers crossed the interview goes well.

OK only got to page 61 and run out of time!

I am so impressed with the Navigator! :worship: Wish we'd had something like this the first time we cruised!

I love your info on each port; so helpful. Just a suggestion--adding the average September high & low temperatures on each port's page:

Barcelona hi 78 low 63
Gibraltar hi 79 low 67
Madeira hi 75 low 67
St Maartan hi 88 low 72
Tortola hi 86 low 82

Andrea

Thanks! I've added these!

Thanks for your hard work.

Just a note on the kid's clubs. On the magic they have Ocean Quest for the tweens (11-13 yrs) so the Ocean Lab only goes up go age 10 and the Stack doesn't start until age 14.

Thanks! I've adjusted these

Just a small correction on the mini navigator. Donna and Joi are celebrating 23 years and our honeymoon. You did an awesome job on this and I am sure it was a lot of work. Thank you

Donna

Sorry guys! Got it right this time!

Thanks so much for the navigator! There's such great information in it. Could you add me and Geoff's 10th anniversary is on Sept 2?

Thanks!
Lisa

Hey Sarah

GREAT job on the (not so) mini navigatior!!!!

But i have 2 questions...

How is it that all the cruisers are bringing medication are women?? Everyone knows guys are always the ones who get sick :sick::sick: :rotfl:

And you don't mention the crime rate on Castaway Cay. Is Mickey likely to run off with all my money....... :rotfl:

Oh no........... wait a minute...... He already has :rotfl:

Great job Sarah

SW

LOL weirdly someone else questioned CC not being on there, although there wasn't quite as an amusing comment mentioned! It is added. AS for the meds I guess women are more prepared than men!

This is just a suggestion, but what if you emailed the finished navigator to everyone and let them print them out at home? Or at least to as many as like the idea?

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Happy to do this but people will need to let me know email addys! I know a few people had trouble with google so happy to send out

Sandi has provided me with an update to the list of participants for the Scrapbook Embellishment Exchange to include Andrea. :woohoo:

With that said, please see Post #19 for the updated list! Also, if you are participating, please make sure your cabin number is correct.

Cool thanks! Yep its right

I haven't even started on shoes yet ... I need to sort out the dresses / outfits first so I can try and get shoes which go with a lot of outfits.

One of my Ebay dresses has turned out a wee bit "see-through" so I will have to make an underskirt .... don't want to put anyone off their dinner:rotfl:

oooooer!!!! :thumbsup2

You can't tear yourself away from the DISboards incase you miss something important :thumbsup2

Great excuse!;)

We were out with friends at the weekend, and she had some very nice ballet pumps on, with a bit of sparkle. she usually wears heels. They really are in fashion you know.

Thank you, yes I agree, they are very fashionable so I think I'll go back and get them.....:cool1:

I'm beginning to worry about my packing, and wondering if I can cut down even more on John's things.:rotfl2: Do you think 3 bags for me and one for John and the FE things would be ok and not look too greedy?;)

Oh! Do you think Mark believes the 3rd or 4th bag is actually for him then?? :rotfl::rotfl:

You are not rambling, just sharing your life with us. I am so glad to hear she is doing well and feeling good about her life. As parents, we will always be concerned about our children no matter how old and far away their lives take them.
girlsrule.gif

Thank you Noel x

Think mom would mind taking the top bunk???

You can't put QM in the bunk! (we'll ask Mark to have it :lmao::rotfl2:)

:littleangel:

If I knew I'd tell you........GTY!!! :goodvibes So funny, as It's not an accent to me, of course, duh! I love the Texas drool accent, anyone have one of those?

I think you meant "drawl" unless you've met some sloppy Texans :rotfl: . (No worries, I'm sure I'll end up making you laugh w/some language mess-up.)

pirate:

We wish him all good luck and thanks for what he's doing. Hope we get to see you and Helen and 2 boys on the cruise.

Not to worry Mandy ... thats the one thing I CAN do with my LEFT hand if necessary !!!!!

Yeah, gotta exercise those elbows, right?

I've been spending the day with my little princess  before I take her back to Bristol tomorrow when she moves into her new flat (apartment) for next semester. We've been shopping for a few things for her today, and had lunch and a coffee. She has most of her packing done now.....let's hope this time it all fits in my little car........:scared1:

So, tomorrow yet again, we shall be heading down the motorway and then moving everything into the new flat. She seems to be doing well in her summer job, and at the moment is feeling positive about getting back to her studies in September......I can't relax yet, but do feel a little better about her. :worried:
:littleangel:

They really are our babies for always and we never stop worrying about them.

Thanks Sarah, you're right of course they're always our babies  Hope they catch that guy soon too, and your dd enjoys a safe trip x

I looked at some cruise shopping today too.....tried on some nice little gold shoes....can't decide between gold 'ballet pumps' or gold 'flip flop' type shoes.....I know heels look better but they just don't work for me.....:sad2:

:littleangel:

I got 2 pairs of sandals today: one gold and one silver. They both have lower heels and thongs (can't take those high heels, I believe they were invented by someone who likes seeing people suffer), but are at least a little dressy-ish. I wore dress sandals w/2" heels to the Marine Corps reunion last Wednesday, and ended up touring the museum in my bare feet 'cause I couldn't take the pain. Why don't shoe manufacturers make comfortable pretty shoes? :confused3

AS for the meds I guess women are more prepared than men!

If you took a poll of who's doing the packing for the trip, I'm betting the women are doing most of it, so we have to be prepared.

Happy to do this but people will need to let me know email addys! I know a few people had trouble with google so happy to send out

I certainly don't want to add work for you; I was just trying to help. Sorry if it's not a good idea. :flower3:

MsMet, I hope things go as well for your family as they can and that you are able to join us in September. (We are Mets fans too.)

Congratulations to Dylan and a big thank you to him for being willing to go in the military and defend our country. You should be a proud dad. As my mother said when all of my brothers went into the military, they left as a boy and returned as men. My father was career Air Force so I have a soft spot in my heart for anyone in the military and everything they do for our country.

I'm beginning to worry about my packing, and wondering if I can cut down even more on John's things.:rotfl2: Do you think 3 bags for me and one for John and the FE things would be ok and not look too greedy?;)

Mom keeps saying she can fit in a carry on... but she forgets that I carry all the other crap she needs...

Can't you do both at once???

I thought about asking DH to read to me while he was watching the footy and I was sewing........I don't think he would have gone for it though :lmao:

Chilly?! That sounds lovely and warm!!:rotfl: Guess it's all relative!

That's why we laugh when we're at WDW in our shorts etc and people are wrapped up in fleeces....us London folk are a strange bunch!

Is it London folk who are strange, or American folk who are strange........I know us Aussie folk are strange :rotfl:

sewing !!!! you're giving us a clue there Hayley .......

UmmmmmAhhhhhh!!! Shhhhhh!!! :rolleyes1

Hope you made some good progress tonight!

So why is it when YOU ask everyone to stop talking, it seems they listen? There's only been 6 posts in just as many hours!

I am finished, Woohhooooooo!!!!!
I know, only 6 pages, I am astounded! ;)

Sounds messy.

Either way, Cruise or Army, it's all good! You should be proud of him, and yourself for bringing up such a great son. :thumbsup2

Thanks for letting me ramble....

Your not rambling, your sharing, that's what we do here. It's nice that you've had some quality mother and daughter time before she goes to Bristol. Good Luck with the move, and packing the car! :goodvibes

DD is away staying with her friends and with that killer being on the loose I don't like her to be away from home ... even though she is in the north west and nowhere near where he is supposed to be. I just hope they catch him soon.

What killer? We haven't heard anything about that way down here?

Well done, I salute you Ol' Chumbucket! pirate:

One of my Ebay dresses has turned out a wee bit "see-through" so I will have to make an underskirt .... don't want to put anyone off their dinner:rotfl:
What about a half slip or petticoat? OMG I sound like my mother! :rotfl:

We were out with friends at the weekend, and she had some very nice ballet pumps on, with a bit of sparkle. she usually wears heels. They really are in fashion you know.

Can't you just buy an underskirt? Though, there aren't as many about as there once were.

I love ballet flats, I half pairs in every colour, and pretty much wear them all winter long! They are very fashionable here. :thumbsup2
Underskirt, it that like a petticoat or half slip.....oh no......we're back to undergarment conversations, :lmao:

I'm beginning to worry about my packing, and wondering if I can cut down even more on John's things. Do you think 3 bags for me and one for John and the FE things would be ok and not look too greedy?

I think that is perfectly acceptable, No laughing smiley, I am being serious!

Of course. Glenn says if he was to pack all his clothes would fit in a carry on.

Funny thing is it is his clothes that take up the most room go figure.

Tell me about it, Mens shoes are gigantic!!! :confused3

Funny, when I typed 'drool', I knew it wasn't the right word, but had a total brain blank (which happens often, remember, my brain leaks :lmao:), That is exactly what I meant, Texas drawl, you can keep the Texas drool to yourselves! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I will remember that!!! :thumbsup2

Just let me know what room you guys are in... ;) :rotfl:

& I made FE gifts for the WBPC and I'm not doing it again!!! :lmao: :lmao:

I loved my cooler! It seems to have walked off somewhere though, :guilty:

Fingers crossed for Sean. Congrats and thank you to Dylan. My DNiece is in the same situation re: graduation, she found out last Tuesday, the morning of what should have been graduation ceremony, instead she will finish towards the end of July.

I don't think John will even notice, lol. Bet one is plenty for his clothes.

Pj

.
Well my FE gifts that I'm making are nearly in their final stage! :woohoo: I worked on them over the weekend and again today. It's going to go super quick now with all the finishing touches just needing to be pulled together. I CAN'T WAIT to give them away. It's also going to be hard to not share the idea for others to consider using on the FE Homemade Gift Thread until October! :ssst:

LOL as if we'd be lurking over on that thread anyway :lmao:

One of my Ebay dresses has turned out a wee bit "see-through" so I will have to make an underskirt .... don't want to put anyone off their dinner:rotfl:

So you aren't doing a show'n'tell after all our discussions about underwear? :rotfl2:

I'm beginning to worry about my packing, and wondering if I can cut down even more on John's things.:rotfl2: Do you think 3 bags for me and one for John and the FE things would be ok and not look too greedy?;)

Sounds fair to me!

Update:

I got a reply from every on on the list except KC's Princess. Does any know if she is still going. She has not posted anything since 6/13.

Stephen

I will be happy to have Eusébia call and add 6 more, if you want me to. Let me know and I will email her. She and I email at least once or twice a day.

Just my thoughts...
:surfweb:

Got it done, but thank you for following up on it.

Maz, you are looking at this all wrong. You only need one case. John needs three... as long as he has a couple things in each they are HIS!!!

Ok, I hate multi post! Well, I like it, but it never fails that I forget something that I want to say when there is no qupote to go with it!! Darn it - it is going to bug me all night!!

PrincessShmoo- ?

If somebody who is not on the list is intrest in a pin let me now, we still have time before we can order the pins. And maybe we can get 100 pins.

Connie

BTW I vote for #2. We'd like 4, please.
