Can't you do both at once???
I thought about asking DH to read to me while he was watching the footy and I was sewing........I don't think he would have gone for it though
Chilly?! That sounds lovely and warm!!

Guess it's all relative!
That's why we laugh when we're at WDW in our shorts etc and people are wrapped up in fleeces....us London folk are a strange bunch!
Is it London folk who are strange, or American folk who are strange........I know us Aussie folk are strange
sewing !!!! you're giving us a clue there Hayley .......
UmmmmmAhhhhhh!!! Shhhhhh!!!
Hope you made some good progress tonight!
So why is it when YOU ask everyone to stop talking, it seems they listen? There's only been 6 posts in just as many hours!
I am finished, Woohhooooooo!!!!!
I know, only 6 pages, I am astounded!

On a brighter note my oldest son Dylan is now a High School graduate .... So Hopefully we will find out his ship date by this coming Monday , and there is a slight chance he might make it on the cruise if his date is pushed to october... but either way it looks like Ft Benning or Jackson may be his home soon .... I am so proud of him , but will be sad to see him leave ...
Either way, Cruise or Army, it's all good! You should be proud of him, and yourself for bringing up such a great son.
I've been spending the day with my little princess

before I take her back to Bristol tomorrow when she moves into her new flat (apartment) for next semester.
Thanks for letting me ramble....
Your not rambling, your sharing, that's what we do here. It's nice that you've had some quality mother and daughter time before she goes to Bristol. Good Luck with the move, and packing the car!
DD is away staying with her friends and with that killer being on the loose I don't like her to be away from home ... even though she is in the north west and nowhere near where he is supposed to be. I just hope they catch him soon.
What killer? We haven't heard anything about that way down here?
Well done, I salute you Ol' Chumbucket!
One of my Ebay dresses has turned out a wee bit "see-through" so I will have to make an underskirt .... don't want to put anyone off their dinner
What about a half slip or petticoat? OMG I sound like my mother!
We were out with friends at the weekend, and she had some very nice ballet pumps on, with a bit of sparkle. she usually wears heels. They really are in fashion you know.
Can't you just buy an underskirt? Though, there aren't as many about as there once were.
I love ballet flats, I half pairs in every colour, and pretty much wear them all winter long! They are very fashionable here.

Underskirt, it that like a petticoat or half slip.....oh no......we're back to undergarment conversations,
I'm beginning to worry about my packing, and wondering if I can cut down even more on John's things. Do you think 3 bags for me and one for John and the FE things would be ok and not look too greedy?
I think that is perfectly acceptable, No laughing smiley, I am being serious!
Of course. Glenn says if he was to pack all his clothes would fit in a carry on.
Funny thing is it is his clothes that take up the most room go figure.
Tell me about it, Mens shoes are gigantic!!!
PINS LIST
Here's a list whit names that like a pin and how many pins, if there's something wrong please let me now. The ones who are yellow please let me now how much pins you like. We have now 79 pins or 88 when the others let me now what they want.
Connie
Connie, Thanks so much for doing this!
I think you meant "drawl" unless you've met some sloppy Texans . (No worries, I'm sure I'll end up making you laugh w/some language mess-up.)
Funny, when I typed 'drool', I knew it wasn't the right word, but had a total brain blank (which happens often, remember, my brain leaks

), That is exactly what I meant, Texas drawl, you can keep the Texas drool to yourselves!
