DARN! I was all ready for it, too, Todd!

Not really .... but I know I am not resting it as I should be. It aches a lot if I try and use it too much. Still .. shouldn't expect much else after less than 3 weeks since the fracture. It will take 4-6 week to heal the bone and I should just be patient

Sorry! I can't imagine how frustrating it has to be to suddenly be so limited on your activities. Mandy's right though...you need to be ready for the cocktail lifting!

....I've been spending the day with my little princess before I take her back to Bristol tomorrow when she moves into her new flat (apartment) for next semester. We've been shopping for a few things for her today, and had lunch and a coffee....

Hope all goes well with the move tomorrow and that she continues to do well. They never stop being your little girls do they. I am anxious at the moment as my DD is away staying with her friends and with that killer being on the loose I don't like her to be away from home ... even though she is in the north west and nowhere near where he is supposed to be. I just hope they catch him soon.

I am cruise shopping at the moment .... checking out more dresses on Ebay !!

Oh, longer trip than I thought. I'm not too familiar with that part of the country really.

I'm cruise shopping too. Going to have far too much to take!!!!

It's quite direct luckily, just straight down the M4 so at least that's ok.


I looked at some cruise shopping today too.....tried on some nice little gold shoes....can't decide between gold 'ballet pumps' or gold 'flip flop' type shoes.....I know heels look better but they just don't work for me.....

I haven't even started on shoes yet ... I need to sort out the dresses / outfits first so I can try and get shoes which go with a lot of outfits.

One of my Ebay dresses has turned out a wee bit "see-through" so I will have to make an underskirt .... don't want to put anyone off their dinner

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for all the kind wishes and well wishes on our immigration process ...It seems the Spanish Embassy pushed back Sean interview till Thursday so later tonight we should know hopefully on his Schengan ..

On a brighter note my oldest son Dylan is now a High School graduate ....He should have graduated in June with his class but he came up 1.5 credits short .. Well as of yesterday he passed all his remaining classes and will be receiving his High School Diploma (finally....wahooooooo) from his actual High School ....This weekend he should be going to Salt Lake City as he has made his final decision on which branch of the service he is going into and after a long time of thinking , he has chose the Army over the Navy (navy doesnt really have jobs avail right now ) So Hopefully we will find out his ship date by this coming Monday , and there is a slight chance he might make it on the cruise if his date is pushed to october... but either way it looks like Ft Benning or Jackson may be his home soon .... I am so proud of him , but will be sad to see him leave ...

You should be proud!! Please congratulate him for us as well and thank him for choosing to serve and protect us.

She seems to be doing well in her summer job, and at the moment is feeling positive about getting back to her studies in September......I can't relax yet, but do feel a little better about her.

We were out with friends at the weekend, and she had some very nice ballet pumps on, with a bit of sparkle. she usually wears heels. They really are in fashion you know.

Oh, shoes, not they are a big problem, but i just can't bring them all!!!

Can't you just buy an underskirt? Though, there aren't as many about as there once were.

I think that should work .... you could always put the overflow from your 3 bags into John's bag as a last resort

Of course. Glenn says if he was to pack all his clothes would fit in a carry on.

Funny thing is it is his clothes that take up the most room go figure.

I am sure you are justly proud of Dylan. He is doing an honorable thing in serving his country. Wouldn't that be wonderful if he gets to come along on the cruise!! Congratulations on all of his accomplishments!!

I was just going to comment on this myself! It seems awfully quiet today on here.......has everyone gone cruise shopping?

Had GK's and DD here this morning until a about a half an hour ago. Oldest GD has to work at 12:45 PM at her lifeguard job so they had to go home. Mass chaos last night when they arrived last night rehooking up the DVR in an other room so they could watch tv. All of them were lamenting us moving and missing our old house and the media room.

You are not rambling, just sharing your life with us. I am so glad to hear she is doing well and feeling good about her life. As parents, we will always be concerned about our children no matter how old and far away their lives take them.

I've also figured out what I'm going to do afterwards. Eusébia suggested some parks and gardens, and I found Santa Catarina Park (check out all the pictures), which is close to Blandy's, will be perfect! It has gorgeous views of the sea and the port, which will be a perfect photo opportunity to showcase the Disney Magic!

That would be a good idea, especially so you can sort the list in alphabetical order, which makes it easier for people to ensure they're on the list. Personally, I block/copy the cells I want, then paste into an app that allows me to save it as a jpg file. Then that gets uploaded into Photobucket so it can be posted.
