We have not booked our return flight either. We have extended our stay in Orlando thru Oct 9 and want to stay 2 more days, but DVC has no studios available ANYWHERE on Oct 10. What's with that???? :confused3 I keep checking back every couple of days and will book the flight home soon, either on the 10th or 12th, depending on DVC availability. :rolleyes1 I don't think there is a real hurry on that. I also still need to book 2 hotels, one the night before we fly out of Spokane, WA and one at Miami for the night before we fly to Barcelona. We fly from Spokane because flights out of Missoula are ridiculously high and require 2 stops to get to FL. I will try again tomorrow. :surfweb:

You are getting into the Columbus Day holiday, which is a prime time for going to WDW. I just realized today that we could fly back on 10/9 first class for the same mileage it would cost us for coach on 10/2 using mileage. Shame we can't extend our trip another week!

For precruise hotels, I usually use Priceline, bidding at ridiculously low prices for 3 star or higher hotels. Our December cruise we got the Airport Marriott for $38 for the night. I usually check the prices on hotwire, and use that as my cap for my Priceline bidding.

well my hubby could not come cause briefs are not pj's and a little riske for Disney

You can still come Ruth!!! My DH doesn't wear PJ's at home, but I am planning on buying him some for his birthday. :thumbsup2

You can roll the travel ones, and I have stephen lay on the regular ones... (I have to make him do some work for the fantastic trip we are going on, right?!? Besides, why else bring a 13 year old?
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

First, my name is actually spelled "Erik" (with a K). I don't know who Eric is....but if he's showing up with lanyards, too, I'm gonna be real annoyed at all the work I put into getting the ones I did put together!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (just pulling your leg) (Also, my name is spelled wrong on the thanks page at the end, too)

I made our pajamas two weekends ago. Matching Tigger & Roo pajama pants and hand painted T-Shirts to match, as well!

I have corrected your name on PJ breakfast details, Sorry!
I cannot wait to see you jimmie jams, sound so cute! I might have to make some for DH, Can't find any here in Australia!!!

Where will bananagrams be held that afternoon?

I have Bananagrams too Sue! Will throw it in the bags now, while I remember. :thumbsup2

Pin Update

Connie

I vote for pin 2. I read that Noel said we will keep the rough edge but on a rectangle pin, with white background. Maybe we could just scrap the jaggered edge and run the colour to the edge of the rectangle? May give us more room as people were worried about sizes and being able to read the details on the pin, Just a thought....:confused3

Well, I got myself all prepared for it ... got a lift from my Mum ( can't drive due to the hand ) and when we got there I had got the wrong day .... dentist appointment is tomorrow. So tomorrow we get to do it all again.

Boxers arrived and they were the wrong size. Way too small. I ordered a bigger size and they sent a small one ... lets just say Chip and Dale's nut storage was a bit lacking Hope to exchange them for a bigger size.

Oh No, Good Luck tomorrow, Hope you had a lovely car ride today! :rotfl2:

I bet DH was chuffed about the 'nut storage' size being too small. :lmao:

Thank You ... I know I just have my son Destin and I on the roll call ... I hadnt added Helen cause we didnt know for sure if she would be able to make it ...(were still going through immigration process , we finally have our interview and hope it gets approved on July 28th) , then we have to get her Schengen Visa for most of the Med trip so we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off ... all this and we still dont know if my step son Sean (Helens) son will make it ....He is listed and paid for to go but dont know if we will be able to get him from Manila prior ....If he does make it , he will probably fly to the states around Sept 3rd , then turn around and fly with us to Spain on the 6th ....And all this is provided he gets his Schengan approved later today (its actually Wednesday in Manila right now ) at the Spanish Embassy in Manila ...

So if he does get approved for the Schengan , then it will be US immigration's turn to expedite his paper work .. so we are working on it ferociously ...

This is why I am not on the boards much, because were so tied up with my regular work plus getting everything in line for Helen to become a Legal Resident here in the States ....

(Sorry about the lil life story ..lol )

WOW, you have a lot going on, The things we do for love......It's all worth it! I hope everything turns out and we get to meet the whole family of 4 on board. :thumbsup2

I love your info on each port; so helpful. Just a suggestion--adding the average September high & low temperatures on each port's page:

Barcelona hi 78 low 63
Gibraltar hi 79 low 67
Madeira hi 75 low 67
St Maartan hi 88 low 72
Tortola hi 86 low 82

Andrea

If I am converting that correctly to celcius, It's going to be a little chilly! Bbrrrrrrr!!!!! Note to self, pack warmer clothes!

Yes, we did it we won the half final soccer. Everybody here is going crazy.
We want Germany in the final.

Well it's almost time for my trip to Paris!!!

Have a wonderful 4 days of planning, and please don't talk about anything related to the Cruise, Disney, Outfits, or Ladies Undergarments whilst i'm away....

Missing you all already

SW

Have a fantastic time! :thumbsup2
You haven't left us much to talk about have you?

And you don't mention the crime rate on Castaway Cay. Is Mickey likely to run off with all my money.......

Oh no........... wait a minute...... He already has

SW
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

This is just a suggestion, but what if you emailed the finished navigator to everyone and let them print them out at home? Or at least to as many as like the idea?

I think that is the plan

They did release TA rates for our cruises today. $25/person/night!!!!! Wish I was still a TA, sigh.... (and I can't sign in to the Disney TA site to cancel the e-mails, such teases.) Only down side to being a TA for a cruise, waiting until after 75 days to book.

Pj

Wow, that is amazing rates!

But I do love that Aussie voice each morning...

I can get my DH to ring you each morning if you like.....:rolleyes1

I REALLY need to go to bed. I have to get up in 5.5 hours to work shipment at the Disney Store. I'm excited because I know there should be a lot of new merchandise coming in because we have a floor move next week! The only bad part is getting up so early, but then I'm done with work early in the day so it works out well in the end.

How exciting, new Disney stock! We don't have a Disney store here, DD Bella loves the Minnie Mouse range there, every trip we come home with knickers, swimwear, note books, bags........ Have fun unpacking all the goodies!

On the EBPC we did not get our stateroom number until 2 to 3 weeks before the cruise.
:scared1::scared1::scared1: Fingers crossed we get them soon!

I just realized the holiday on that Monday. Flights on Sunday back to Spokane are $40 each more than on Tuesday....but then I guess we would each eat more than $40 food in those 2 days anyway. Guess I should just book the flight and be done.

I use Priceline also. I have one 3 star booked in Ft Lauderdale (where we have to fly to from Spokane) for $40 for the night. I have not gotten a price I am happy with at Spokane or Miami yet, but I have time to play with it still. :thumbsup2

If I am converting that correctly to celcius, It's going to be a little chilly! Bbrrrrrrr!!!!! Note to self, pack warmer clothes!

Now that is funny! Guess it depends on where you live because I was thinking Oh Boy! It's gonna be nice and warm...maybe a bit too warm in St Maarten! :lmao::lmao: If it gets to 55 degrees here and the sun is shining you will see folks in shorts. 70 degrees and we have the airconditioners on. :upsidedow 88 would be a real scorcher!

Well Thanks to all of you who have worked so hard on all of the activities. The navigator was great for DH and I to go thru while in the HEAT 106 are they nuts. Now that we are home cooled off and relaxed I got a chance to read the boards. Wow there is a lot going on. I hope I do not have to work in the morning. Tried the link for Blandys and I also could not get it to go thru. Must be my computer skills.. Now to the farming..

Blandy's site is down. If you want me to email Eusébia and add you guys, let me know. I have emailed her earlier today and told her to tell Blandy's the website is down.

We want to be sure everyone that is on the tour and wants to go to Blandy's is accommodated. Let me know.

I am not sure if this is possible but will ask DH and let you know.

Both Pins are very nice.... But DH and I both agree we like Pin 2 Better.... We vote for Pin 2. We would like to order 3 pins please.

It was Dialady that was going to do one (Terressa) but I haven't seen here on here for a little while. I've dropped her a pm to see if she is still thinking of doing it

If need be, I have Teresa on my FB friends list if she doesn't make contact.

As Tru mentioned we got the FEs all done in one fell swoop together. They are two bags right now - might put them together for one super-gift for the wow-factor. Would people object to that? We signed up individually, but the two things together is certainly more than enough value/items for us to feel that we wouldn't be cheating anyone out of two good FE gifts.

I don't think anyone would mind if it was one or two gifts - I know we just love each and every gift we receive - its for the fun and surprise of what someone has left us more than anything else. Do what works best for you :)

I made our pajamas two weekends ago. Matching Tigger & Roo pajama pants and hand painted T-Shirts to match, as well!:banana:

Good grief, I didn't realise it was a formal pajama breakfast as well! :rotfl2:

Have a wonderful 4 days of planning, and please don't talk about anything related to the Cruise, Disney, Outfits, or Ladies Undergarments whilst i'm away....:rotfl:

Spoil sport... so we have nothing else to talk about now!

I'm sitting here scratching my head. A couple of weeks ago we saw our cabin # when we logged in to DCL. I just checked the site for some other info and now they are not listing any cabin # for us. ??? Anybody have any idea why they would do that? :confused3

Maybe Stitch got into the system? ;)

Hello all fellow TA cruisers....my DW and I are both getting a little antsy.....we have neither a stateroom assingment and have no idea what our flights will be both to Barcelona on the Friday night before the cruise or our flight home from Orlando after the cruise.....I know they should be assigned shortly but the waiting is starting to get to us....sometimes checking twice or even three times a day.....
Tom & Marilou

I saw a thread on the main cruise board a couple of days ago saying that the Med cruise about 4 weeks before ours were getting their room assignments. Take a deep breathe and keep calm - we are all in the boat (or life boat?) so to speak. :)

....I can get my DH to ring you each morning if you like.....:rolleyes1...

Be careful what you offer, Hayley! Your DH may have a list of women (myself included) who would take you up on that!!

.
Well my FE gifts that I'm making are nearly in their final stage! :woohoo: I worked on them over the weekend and again today. It's going to go super quick now with all the finishing touches just needing to be pulled together. I CAN'T WAIT to give them away. It's also going to be hard to not share the idea for others to consider using on the FE Homemade Gift Thread until October! :ssst:

Time for bed....catch you all on the flip side!

The life boats work, as long as we are on the ship! We can always shower at the spa. :)

I will remember that!!! :thumbsup2

Just let me know what room you guys are in... ;) :rotfl:

& I made FE gifts for the WBPC and I'm not doing it again!!! :lmao: :lmao:

True, we were in London last July, walking through Hyde park in jeans, a singlet, a long sleeve top, a cardigan and a scarf........and people were sunbaking in their bikini's......no seriously! We could not believe it!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Maybe I will have him do a pre-recorded message, like the Mickey and Goofy wake up calls...:lmao:

Just let me know what room you guys are in... ;) :rotfl:

If I knew I'd tell you........GTY!!! :goodvibes
So funny, as It's not an accent to me, of course, duh!
I love the Texas drool accent, anyone have one of those?

We got a last minute invite and took off in the RV for a couple of days. We were at a lovely Forest Service campground nearby with good friends for July 4. In the forest so no fireworks for us. We just got home a bit ago. Now way to much to catch up on. I need to start saying home and reading the DIS!! :surfweb::surfweb:

Great way to spend a weekend!!

I thought there were more tastings than this. Am I confused?

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Made me laugh, sorry!!!! ;)

& I made FE gifts for the WBPC and I'm not doing it again!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, go on!! I don't think there are quite as many cabins this time.

Actually FE groups are in groups of about 15 cabins so you would be ok with making them.

Good morning everyone ... it's Groundhog Day for me today as I am off to the dentist .... AGAIN !!!!:eek:

Well it's almost time for my trip to Paris!!!

I've got 2 days in the city and 2 at Disney, i'm back late on Saturday so by my estimation that means i'll have 93 pages to catch up on :lmao:

I plan to try and check in a couple of times, i've read there is free wifi in some public spots in the city, though i've never tried it for myself....

Have a wonderful 4 days of planning, and please don't talk about anything related to the Cruise, Disney, Outfits, or Ladies Undergarments whilst i'm away....:rotfl:

Missing you all already

SW

Have a wonderful time ... I love Disneyland Paris in July ... well any month really. :woohoo::woohoo:

Sandi has provided me with an update to the list of participants for the Scrapbook Embellishment Exchange to include Andrea. :woohoo:

With that said, please see Post #19 for the updated list! Also, if you are participating, please make sure your cabin number is correct.

Is it too late to join in with this. I did metion I would on the thread way back when but I am not down on the list ... I'm not sure if I ever sent a PM so that might explain it. Keeping up with my PM list is a full time job in itself :scared1:

I keep seeing that women need to have their legs covered to go into churches in Europe. Does that mean I need to wear pants, skirts or can you wear capris? I am assuming that means no shorts. Should you also wear closed shoes and not sandals?

Definitely legs covered ie no shorts but you can generally wear sandals. In some religious places you also would need covered up shoulders ... so if you are wearing a strappy top you would also need a wrap, shrug, cover up of some sort.

I really want to be getting on with my FE gifts etc. This stupid old hand is really putting a spanner in the works.:mad: I had planned to have most of it finished by now.

PINS. I have forgotten who wants numbers in all the discussion.

I would love just 1 of the second one please. Thank you.:thumbsup2

OK, I am going offline tonight to finish my FE's while DH watches the footy, So.......Stop talking, just give me a chance to do some sewing....please........I can't keep up.....please.........:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I happened to see Orlando waiting on the platform for a London underground train last year, he had on a beany and big sunglasses, he kinda stood back from the platform edge and noone seemed to notice him.
SW

Lucky you!:thumbsup2

Yeah!! We are hoping to get on the ship for lunch and a swim!

Ditto!:cool1:

I think I'm still in lifeboat #5... ;)

....or on our sofa? :rotfl2:

If I am converting that correctly to celcius, It's going to be a little chilly! Bbrrrrrrr!!!!! Note to self, pack warmer clothes!

Chilly?! That sounds lovely and warm!!:rotfl: Guess it's all relative!:thumbsup2
