Well, It is 6am, been awake from 3am and up since 5am so thought I would check in with my buddies since Len is snoring it up.

I may do the purple and black theme ... don't think I will do the whole hog with a villain costume .... even though I could easily do Cruella as I have a costume. What do you think?
Think it is a must !!! I am going to get a purple to and wear my posh black jeans and mask, maybe get a wig?

Just cutting in with my 2cents worth. I'm wearing an outfit that is "suggestive" of a costume, but not a full-on costume. It will be an skirt and blouse that I can wear on other occasions, but have pieces that are from a costume to finish it.

:cutie:
Sounds perfect!!

Is that the UK version of TJ Maxx that we have over here?
Yip.
Well I'm not having a good day. I was on the back county roads of Lancaster county and when i get back to my office i look at my back tire and the is a bulge in my rear tire. My have been one of the pot hole i hit on fine Pennsylvania road. It cost over $150 for a new tire.

On other news. I got the bus contract today so I still need payment for a few people. Look at post 11 on page 1 for instruction.

Stephen
Thats annoying, I need 4 new tyres for my car, money, money, money, my cars driving me nuts at the minute.I prefer to use my money for crusing:lmao:
As a fellow GP, I can tell just how proud you are of her!! Tell her congrats from John and I for a great race!!

Your name always brings a smile to my face as my Dad was Walter (Walt). My kids and GK's always called him Grandpa Walt.

Actually me too, I love the name Walt, and since I am not having kids I want a pug and I want to call it Walt.
How sweet.....

I am thinking of dressing up as well so maybe we will be just a few but how fun!!

Was PM'ing with Su_Kraft about yoga, and grousing that the official yoga sessions last a bare half hour, which is hardly time enough to get warmed up. Is there anyone who's (a) interested in yoga, and (b) good enough at it to carry on after the *official* session is over? I'd be interested. :thumbsup2

Besides, yoga's a great way to re-distribute the extra, um, ounces that some of us may find in the dining room. Or at least get it to move around a little bit. :rotfl:

Yoga, anyone?

Best regards,
Richard
Yes, but I cant really do it I dont think, I can do pilates, is it like that? They did have yoga last time I crusied.
I know someone asked about medicine balls in the gym. We last cruised in September and my husband went to the gym EVERY DAY (he is the good one) and says there are no medicine balls. I am going to attempt the gym for the first time on this trip. We shall see.
I met a fellow disser most am is the gym, it was lovely, we often agreed a time to meet for bfast in the dining room, very nice.
Ok I am tired - I have been gone for a couple of days (or getting ready to go) and here is my story - copied from facebook because I was too tired to retype the whole story :)

From Tuesday pm:

Ok we are now home - in the past 28 hours we have: Ashlyn packed for Lakeshore - drove 1.5 hours there - dropped her off, drove to Paris, got a hotel room, worked on my Christmas Gifts book, ate dinner, went back and picked ashlyn up at camp at 10 pm, drove back to paris (45 min) to hotel and went to bed then this morning . . . .

we got up, had breakfast, drove to UT Martin (45 min), Ashlyn competed in the state competition for Clothing and Textiles (she had an interview) while aaron and I helped with a 4-H workshop making crafts with kids of military, then had lunch, drove 2 hours back to Lakeshore from UT Martin, dropped Ashlyn off, then aaron and I drove back to Jackson... See More, picked up the dog from the kennel, now we are home and aaron's new bed (used) is being delivered in about 15 minutes, and in 45 minutes we are having a water walking class at my house - somewhere in there I need to eat!

And I am so proud of Ashyn - even if she doesn't win, she made her dress she wore for the interview and had a great presentation board! And aaron did a great job too helping with the event today! 4-H had lots of great opportunites for the kids!

ASHLYN WON!!!! Ashlyn won the Tennessee 4-H Foundation Horizon Award and a $500 scholarship for college. Her area she competed in was Clothing and Textiles at the 4H Round-Up! We are so proud of her!! She worked hard this year trying different things - quilting, smocking, embroidery, made 2 dresses, pj's, pillowcase and a tote bag.
Well done Ashlyn
did something wrong.

WHAT?tell Aunty Lynne:hug:

DH John Bday is also Dec 27. Small world is it not?

And you're 12/20? Wow, we could start a December birthday club (along w/the Champagne club, the Geezers, etc.). I did promise myself that I'd never have a December baby (sounds pathetic, but it never felt like I had a birthday, it just kind of ran into Christmas), so they're all 3 in April, which is great if I ever get a mother's ring...all diamonds!

My dad smoked from the time he was in WW2 at age 18 (1942-2005) til he was 80. He smoked first cigarettes, then in later years, a pipe. No one else smoked so he always went outside. The last six weeks of his life he was on a ventilator. I would not wish his last 6 weeks on anyone. My dad knew it was killing him but he was so addicted that he could not stop.

Just my thoughts....
:surfweb:

So sad, Noel. My dad quit in his 50s, but mom didn't. He ended up w/heart problems and emphysema; she had so many diseases I can't list them all, most due to or exacerbated by the smoking. Oddly enough, my DH and I managed to grow up w/chain smokers yet neither one of us ever did.

No email here :sad2::sad2:

and I made my countdown bigger .... just to bump up the excitement level a tiny bit !!!!!

No emails for us either :confused3 .

Congrats to Ashlyn! That's fabulous  .

Hello fellow TA cruisers.....anyone interested getting together on the ship....since we will have a lot of ship time of maybe playing some poker? It has been a long time since I have played.....all my poker buddies got married and moved away.....so if anyone is interested maybe we can put it out there and maybe get together.....
Tom:cool1:

Damn - forgot all about that. I was supposed to check with DCL if we could bring poker chips onboard. Um, yes, DH, Steve would :love::love: to play poker. LOL - he lives for poker. :lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

I'm wondering about those offers he may get from prostitutes though......:mad::lmao:

:rolleyes1 I see he's familiar with them. DH got "proposed" too when he got separate from me. He was never so happy to see me as he was when he caught up to me. :rotfl2:

You mean... Ive cruised with both of you too???:lmao::cool1:
Dh and I did the 2005 WBPC with one of our friends from HS and her DH and his BF. Man... we had a blast!
It's a small world after all....
come everyone join in singing....:rotfl2:

hmmmm ... now I have to make a list of everyone Ive cruised with:thumbsup2

Annie:laundy:

OH Yes Annie! I've been lucky enough to have done all the PC's before. I wonder, I am good at remembering faces but no so hot on the names. I'm the lady that walks around with all the camera lenses on PC day. :lmao:

Shoot! I missed all of Small World!!!

Opinion please... From what I have heard Captain Thord will be our Captain this trip. I have a group photo with him from our first cruise when Becca was a baby. Bring it and have him sign or not?

1. I Ditto the Small World. :sad1:

2. Bring the photo - Cpt Thord is soo nice. I gave him a picture of him and Cpt Tom on the very first PC and he was really, really grateful. He even sent me a thank you note. Which I promptly lost. :sad2: But I like him better just a bit more personality. :teeth:

Feel free to take the chorus.....

Dare I start it up again?

Welcome, Tara!! We travel just 2 adults alot and there is always more going on than we can get done. You will NOT get bored.

BORED? :lmao: I have yet to find the hot tub and the Goofy pool.

OH Yes Annie! I've been lucky enough to have done all the PC's before. I wonder, I am good at remembering faces but no so hot on the names. I'm the lady that walks around with all the camera lenses on PC day. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'll have to post a pic of DH and I from that cruise... it was a blast!

Anniepopcorn::

Here's the new pinlist.

So you can take a look if everything is ok.

I have send a e-mail to the pinmaker of how many we pins we want.
They will be ready in time for our cruise.

Don't do it... before you know it, she'll be stalking you on Facebook and encouraging you to make rude and unseemly status updates! I simply had a chat with her after lunch on the EBPC and my life has never been the same again!
:

:snooty: Normally, I might take offense at that, but I know Paula, she can't help herself. :p She's funny, charming and witty. And a grand old jokester to boot. :lmao: As for the stalking, I only stalk when I'm bored. Besides, you all know the saying - great minds and all :lmao:

And I do give fair warning. I'm more clever on the board. In person, I'm Cinderella, I turn into a pumpkin and clam up. :scratchin or is that turn into one of Ariel's momento's? :scratchin either way, I'm actually very shy in person. :teeth: Really I am. ::yes::

I have just been thinking of all the things I didn't do on the ship last time and I have decided to write a list of all the things that I MUST do this time.

So here it is .... the things I didn't do last time which I must do this time list:

1. Go to the gym. Went one time
2. exercise by walking laps on Deck 4 Do that every cruise - I'm trying jogging this time.
3. see a movie ( or two ) Take seasick pills you feel movement more here.
4. order room service ::yes:: better than some dinner actually
5. use the pool 1 time for about 20 minutes.
6. use the hot-tub Great Idea!
7. make an ice cream cookie sandwich OH! Another idea
8. drink champagne under the stars Ah a bit of the bubbly.
9. have a cocktail at the Heads Up bar Done that. Got happy. :)
10. see Disney Dreams show :goodvibes
11. try a Konk Kooler only once. :sad2:
12. have a coffee at the Cove Cafe Vanilla Steamer or their version YES!
13. Visit the rainforest room Too still for me. I'm ADD onboard.
14. Attend more art of entertaining and back stage tours. AWESOME experiences!
15. Watch a sunrise Caught one on the PC - AMAZING!
16. Trade pins EXTREMELY ADDICTING. CAUTION WILL ROBINSON, CAUTION
17. Go to Palo for dinner Try the Chocolate souffle!
18. Go to Palo for brunch Hope you like Seafood. But excellent
19. Eat a lunch in a main dining room Aw yes, but look for a favorite waiter. They're nicer and calmer. Very quiet and relaxing.
20. RELAX !!!!! :lmao: We'll be too busy to do this one. :lmao:

Actually .... this list is so long , I wonder what I actually DID DO on my last cruise ....

Anyone else care to share their MUST DO list :yay:

 The list.

Oh no!

Woody

Don't believe everything Paula says - she's a prankster. LOL - You'll love me. Although I do talk with my hands a lot so stay in front of me and you'll be fine. Sides, your on the road more often than not so I can't :tiptoe: you. :teeth:

If you go the art auction and get the free drink .. do you have to stay for the entire auction. I am a bit worried that I might bid on something if I stay there and I am under the impression that the art auctions are a bit of a scam, so I don't want to fall into anything ... especially if I am under the influence of the champagne.:rotfl2:`

DON'T DRINK AND BID! It can get dangerous. And if you do go - for heaven's sake's - sit on your hands. It's contagious. At least that's what I told DH when a signed Ducky Williams litho showed up in a crate. :rolleyes1

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: We go and watch the auctions often as we find it interesting, though safely from the floor above!!! I see people leaving all the time, but I guess I would want to sit a little while to at least look interested and not just there for the drink.

Looks a pleasant way to spend an odd 20 minutes!!!;)

Ha! You really want to see an auction? Go to a Ducky Williams auction. Now those are amazing to watch. And don't think that being on the 2nd (3rd or 4th) floor will keep you immune. :lmao:

I hope I didnt bore too many of you , as I am not one to really share whats going on in my life , but I do have to say , the last 20 months have been a ride ....

TAKE WHAT YOU CAN !!!!!

pirate:

OK So now I know. :grouphug: To Helen and to you and congrats on D. Knew about him. Just one little milestone. And love the way you figured out a solution. Can't wait to party and ♪ sway to the music ♪ with you all. :)

Bank of America told me today that they were not yet considering add a chip to their cards. I was told by representative that they had questions about this and may consider it in the future but no firm plans.

Probably already answered but I used my BofA debit and CC in Barcelona this April and had absolutely no problems with it.

Is this "Pimp and Hoe Night" another night we need to sign up for????

Boy, would that be a visual!! I can't image DCL would be too pleased either with the dress code that would entail!!
lmao.gif

Can't see why not - they allowed a floss bikini on deck 10 during the PC. ::yes:: they did and no it wasn't that pretty. :rotfl2::lmao: HINT to any considering this: Please bring duct tape to tape up any sagging parts so as not to leave a white part where everything else is brown.

Thanks for doing the bus stuff!!!!!!

Sorry about the tire - not fun!

Sometimes I do multiquote, but I was so far behind and I kept getting distracted today trying to read all the old posts. Sorry for so many posts...

I love your posts, i was just thinking of you as it does seem quicker to me to multi quote.

Made a copy of my trip insurance

I know I have more - - - - just not sure what it is!

Oh yeah now I remember! I read about 35 pages of this thread to get caught up!

Krisann

Sucessfull day, and your really are finalising a few plans there!!

did something wrong.

I'm sure you couldn't so anything wrong!

I only post the wrong list, and took it of.
But i had to post something, Aunty Lynne:banana:

They were Ducky ones we first saw on the PC cruise. wow, they move fast and the money flows there. The ones on the normal cruises are so boring after Ducky ones.

Does anyone else cry on the "Till We Meet Again" little show! I DO!!!! I saw that Corrina wanted to do the show and wanted to ask the question so I am not the only one with tissues.

I am not really sure what to expect, but I think I will bring tissues just in case. I even start to cry whenever I get my first glimpse of the Magic or Wonder.

I sometimes think that by posting individual answers that they don't get lost in the middle of a multi post

I think you're right there Noel :thumbsup2

Too bad you cannot transfer it to the Vista Spa!

Now there is a thought.

I pre-purchased my photo package on the EBTA - never again - what they did not tell me was that it was not refundable so I could not do the "trade it in" and go up or down with the packages as needed - which I did not like. So this cruise I am just putting the money on my account - you can send yourself an OBC for things like that if you want - you can even have the card say whatever you want.

Krisann

Thanks for sharing your experience. I don't think this would be a problem here. I had the middle package on the Med cruise and this was only just about enough after me being really ruthless with photos and I still bought an extra photo on top of the package. So I was going to get the biggest package anyway and I cannot imagine not using up all the credits. Having said that, I might just go for the onboard credit. I was going to put some on anyway to cover the tastings and might just add some more for the photo package as well.

Corinna

Well it's heavy rain here today and I am needing to do something cruise related to cheer myself up. I may start on my scrapbooking exchange thingy and I need to order some ink so that I can print off my door signs. :thumbsup2 Can't work on FE gifts as I am waiting for some bits to arrive in the post !

Weather is just pants recently.

Ive been to the gym, now the beagles are "bugging" me, harranging me by sitting on my feet, whining and generally being brats to go for a walk, just on to check weather forecast and see if I should put a load of washing on.
I think it has to brighten up, fingers crossed.

I got the email :yay::yay::yay::yay:
