Sarah .... I have been chatting to Heather on FB and she wanted me to convey her thanks for the dedication you put on our navigator. She said she was really touched

Tell her no thanks are needed! She is still part of this cruise whether she's coming or not! Her tragedy is just one of the many losses we've had and I wanted to make sure that Rick wasn't forgottten! I don't think any of us expected such a huge event to take place in our 2 year quest for this cruise but I know for one, having sailed with Heather and Rick, they will be missed!

Stephen and Becca with ice cream and you and Abby celebrate with ice cream after your teeth experiences. She goes back 2 more times before the cruise - why does that seem like it is forever. By the way Sue, did you still want to do the FE Exchange since you are switching to digital. I hope the answer is YES!!!

Great news about the wrist Stephen. Mine is improving too and I should be back to work on Monday ... stilll achy and stiff and I can't really pick up anything heavy with it yet though.

OK I had to share because I'm so excited!

As some of you know my Grandmother died a few months back. She died the week before I was set to take some important exams for work and 2 of the 3 exams were actually on the morning before her funeral so it was a very stressful time for me! Anyway the exam results came out today and somehow I managed to only fail 1 of the exams rather than all 3 like I thought I had! I'm still in complete shock over it all! I honestly was expecting to resit them all but only have to resit 1 next year!

Don't worry if you don't find a boa, we'll have extra ones. Your dress sounds great!

I haven't had time to do a search (will do so tonight but needed to post so I wouldn't forget!)...but....I remember reading a thread about items that were available from Room Service that were not on the Room Service menu. Does anyone remember if that was part of this thread or if it was on the main thread? Again, I'll search tonight but thought I'd ask! I could have sworn that I copied the info and saved it in my "gathering cruise info" folder but it's not there!!! I'm trying to put together a folder of all the information I've been gathering but it's slow going. Haven't really even begun to think about packing!

And while I'm here, does anyone know if we have a final list for the postcard exchange or if we can still add people? My sis-in-law might be interested.

Linda - I think that it was on the main board. But, some of t he things I remember were the Mickey bars (or for us Pirate bars (WAH!), Uncrustables (PB&J sammies that are pre packaged), I think wither the grilled cheese or BLT as well.

Opinion please... From what I have heard Captain Thord will be our Captain this trip. I have a group photo with him from our first cruise when Becca was a baby. Bring it and have him sign or not?

Congratulations Sarah. That is a real achievement.

What a nice surprise, just for exercising. Maybe DCL will surprise me with a day at the spa if I exercise every day from now until the cruise!

Now there is a thought. The closest I have come is getting a free body composition analysis for taking part in a spinning class on the Magic.

That is a nice thought, but unfortunately that wouldn't even get me inspired - I am just pathetic!

Once you get started it is actually quite addictive. I had not done any exercise at all from when I left school until last December, but I actually really enjoy going to the gym. Having said that, I probably won't spend much time in the gym on the Magic. I used it for the first time on the Med cruise and found it way too warm. Our gym at home is much cooler and that is what I am used to. It is also really hard to walk past the Rainforest Room on the way to the gym and not to say "hi" to the heated tile loungers.

It is definitely addicting and for me it has been a life safer. Having lost so much weight, hardly anything still fit. Ebay allowed me to get some new clothes that I like for a price at which I don't mind if it won't fit me again in another 6 months or so.

on Saturday night he burnt the house down, yes...I am serious, he burnt the house to the ground. Luckily Mum had removed all of her things 2 weeks ago with Police present as she was scared of him and what he would do. But the house is completely gone. He has been arrested and charged with Arson, and faced court today.

OMG that sound like something awful that would happen on a TV show not to a real person. Thank goodness your mum is ok. These mean people make a living doing horrible things and are very good at it so you certainly shouldn't feel foolish at being tricked.

OF COURSE it is!! It's fun to get any new scrappin' goodies! While we're on the topic, I'll mention that with some of the things I'm giving, I'm not assembling it all so there's more flexibility with colors you want to use on a page (in case you don't want to use the companions I give you ) or how you want to use it. It's not that I'm being lazy! It's quite intentional. I hope that's okay.​

Speaking of on-board movies......I looked to see if Walt Disney Pictures has any premieres while we're on-board. "You Again" is scheduled to be released on September 24. This comedy has Kristen Bell, Sigourney Weaver, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kristin Chenoweth, Betty White, and Victor Garber (try not to think about "Titantic") in it.
