Doesn't DCL ask you to keep your doors closed? (unless you've also turned your A/C off.) Curious to see all the open doors. How neat to see her!
See you there!
Oh, my goodness, Yes, we need to get a game plan! I will be happy to order a couple dozen plastic tiaras like the ones Deb Falbusch used a couple years ago...she gave me the website.
Don't spend a lot of money on them....it's just for fun....unless you already have one of course!
we are still getting 4 - I will be sending you paypal in the next day or two.

....Yeah... and tell the family staying in lifeboat #7 the same thing!!!![]()
(Hotel to Port Transportation)
Thank you. Can you put this info on Page one? I know we will pay very very soon, but it still will get lost quickly!!!![]()
Maybe Paula could put a link to Stephen's instructions in her post on Page 1 regarding the hotel(s) to port transportation post.
Stephen, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for taking the time to organize this for us!!! I'm off to make a payment now!
Here's what their sleeping quarters looks like.

Champaign Girls - I don't have a pink Tiara - can I just wear my princess one? And I looked for a boa today at WalMart - nothing. Target - nothing. Michaels - $18... so I think I have to pass on that as well... Any other ideas??
Bonjour!! Long time no chat from me (not many of you though!).I missed you all!! I didn't have much of a chance go get on-line last week while I was at Grandmother's, which means >60 pages to catch up on. *sigh*
As a result of being off-line, I worked on a lot of cruise-related tasks in the past week! Some of my accomplishments included but was not limited to buying my tiara, finishing my primary FE gifts, making door magnets (although I think I'm going to make one more), and papercrafting my scrapbook embellishment exchange gifts.
My mom is graciously making me a "Hawaiian dress" from some fabric I found for $2.50/yard, so she fitted me for that last week, too. I also put together (another) spreadsheet that will come in handy when I'm ready to distribute FE gifts, postcards, etc. Hopefully this week I'll finalize some more things!
Lots on the plate for this week, but I'll try to stay more connected with you all this week.
PS: I'm LOVING the countdown ticker saying "1 month and ## days"!!!

Hubby has been saving his quarters for laundry. Does anyone know if they are still using quarters in the laundry machines on board or are they now on our key cards. After the EB REPO they were suppose to replace the machines. They were in bad shape on deck 2, but that was two years ago.I am thinking about doing the 2 am laundry night on night 4 - I know I will have laundry then. I will send out more details when I get my cabin number! If anyone else wants to organize wash nights for other nights let me know - I will keep a list of them and submit them for the navigator if there is room!

Pardon me if this was already discussed. Will the pillowcase/t-shirt, etc. signing by the characters be available on this cruise? We have given them as gifts and would like to do it again.
Thanks,
Andrea

We were waving at you!
The weather on the EBTA this year was great almost all the time - I did take a pill one day - but nothing like I guess it was in 2007. I think it all has to do with the weather at the time and there is no way to predict that! We sailed in dec. 2007 and had the worst cruise in regards to the rocking of the boat - even the crew said it was worse than the EBTA in 2007 - so I knew if I survived that one I could survive anything!
as for warm clothing on the cruise - here is what I ended up doing on the EBTA - I brought all kinds of warm clothes "just in case" and here was the thing - on the sea days we were inside most of the time and wore shorts/capris and short sleeve shirts as the ship inside is kept at a degree where having shorts on was very comfortable. So if you normally are cold inside the ship when you sail - do what you would normally do - the only night I wore some layers was Pirate Night on deck to watch the fireworks. so if you like to spend evenings out on the deck - bring some warmer clothes (or as others do - just use a blanket (DCL laid them out for use at quiet cove - even during the days when it was a little cooler - still I was in shorts, and then just got a blanket) I took way too many just in case clothes - this time we each will have a pair of jeans, long thin underwear (small and easy to pack) and a sweatshirt type jacket - we can then layer. Oh and we will have our winter jacket but thy are from lands end and are thin like a t-shirt and roll up to fit into a half gallon ziplock bag -- yet are rated down to 22f - but we are bringing those more for our Austria trip than the cruise. I will not be overpacking the "warm" clothes this time - what I will do is bring a little extra money incase we want a sweatshirt from the cruise.
Hope that makes sense - sorry for the rambling
Krisann

Just got back from the 7/6 Baltic on the Magic. So sad it's over!![]()
Peter was our CD, he wasn't terrible, but we missed Brent. We were wondering where he was since he was scheduled to be on the Magic. Still not sure why he wasn't working, but he boarded the ship in Stockholm and was around as a guest for the last three days of the cruise. He resumed his role as CD today, I was told, and will remain CD for the rest of the summer.
