My mom blamed it on her coffee drinking for me. I blame it on her being 5'2" and not looking for a 7' man!! :rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao: not sure what I can blame mine on.....must ask Mum if she drank a lot of coffee!

Yes, I am a grown woman and still afraid of my mommy. :laughing:

Oh I hear you on that! (from someone who has just plucked up the courage to tell her parents we are cruising AGAIN!):rolleyes1

Today has been a rough day. Finally got to the dentist, and what I was expecting (root canal and crown) turned into 4 crowns and a fracture that went straight to the pulp of the tooth - so it was extracted, and I will need to go for an implant.

Oh I hope you feel better soon!:hug:

Hi Belle,

Since Sue and I took over managing the site we have been using photos@transatlanticpirates.com for pictures. After reading your post, I just noted that on the first page of each of the WBTA threads the address is rollcall@transatlanticpirates.com. Rather than try to change any links or reference, I now created a rollcall@transatlanticpirates.com, so you should be OK to send your photo to either address now.

Glenn

Ah, that would be why I had a problem too, must try again then!:thumbsup2

I think we hit about 109 today... that's avg for here right now. Wait till August it'snot uncommon to hit 120+. A few years back we topped out at 132
:scared1::eek::scared1:

Take What You Can !

Annie:rolleyes1

My! That IS hot!!:eek:

i still have nightmares of the Dr. trying to figure out how to use the xray machine - he had to get out the MANUAL!!!! I kid you not!

Krisann

:eek::eek: (Remind me not to be ill onboard!)

Congratulations to you and your husband. We celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary a week on Monday(5th July).

Happy Anniversary in advance!

I am on to my 3rd pair of FitFlops and love them. They are so comfortable. I don't think they do what they say they do, but for comfort they are fab.

Ive never tried these but would love to get some!

and finally ..... on time and correct this week ..... let me give you the countdown

ONLY 12 WEEKS UNTIL WE BOARD THE DISNEY MAGIC !!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:
:dance3::dance3:

...... it's getting closer :thumbsup2

Our EBPC thread ended on #17 or 18 but that's not counting the huge thread we had going before the 250 page rule. It was not uncommon to have 10-15 pages per HOUR let alone per day.

WOW, Ok people, that is what we need to beat, we need to get to 20!!! :rotfl2:

I am not really a Dooney and Bourke fan but I did buy the black with colorful mickey mouse heads on it - I got it for the Mickey Mouse - now Vera Bradley - that is my favorite purse things!

This is one thing I hope to buy on this cruise - I did not know until the last cruise when we set the alarm for the first time in 5 cruises that the alarm plays when you wish upon a star! There was no room in our suitcases last time - this time I hope to make room!

All I can say is you do not want to have an attack on the cruise! My husband did and it was a very interesting experience with the whole thing - he knew what was going on as he had had one the april before (it was December) but the Dr. onboard was convienced he had a bowl impaction and wanted to get us off the ship ASAP - but we managed to stay on for another day and made it to Orlando - and then flew home - he did have surgeory but not till after Christmas. i still have nightmares of the Dr. trying to figure out how to use the xray machine - he had to get out the MANUAL!!!! I kid you not!

Vera Bradley always sucks me in with the pretty florals, but I always walk out empty handed :confused3
I didn't know that about the alarm clock, and would probably not have found out as we use the alarms on our iPhones, Might have to add that to the "must buy" list. :thumbsup2
OK, The Dr's onboard sound pretty useless, Should I bring some heavy duty pain relief from my doctor or will they give it to me onboard If need be? I have a dodgy gallbladder, I had an attack last week, but hadn't had one for nearly 6 months, so fingers crossed I'll be fine. ;)

I wondered if they were comfy? I was considering a pair for WDW after the cruise, thought I could have fun and get a sexy butt at the same time. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's after 3:00 am and although I'm SOOO exhausted, I'm happy to report that I was a good girl tonight. :fish:I stayed devoted to the task. :fish: I'm by no means finished, but I got a significant chunk of the work completed. :fish: Sad part is that as I was setting them aside, I counted them finding I'm missing one. *sigh*

Well, off to bed before those of you in other parts of the world are up and going about your Saturday posting a bunch of pages that I'll get sucked into reading instead of heading to bed!!

Night-Night...more :fish::fish: work tomorrow!

Oh No, Did one swim away? :rotfl:

It is Saturday night here, My Dad and his wife have taken the girls to see Toy Story 3 and they are having a sleepover. We a kid free for the night :yay::yay::yay: We went shopping and bought Terry a new suit for the cruise, then we went out for dinner. Now it is 8pm and we are home watching the rugby, aarggh, I think we're getting old!

Yes, thats ok as long as you dont have to hold the door closed as well.:lmao:

I now have visions of holding the door closed with a foot as well!

then Im going to dads boat in anstruther, byeeeee have a great day.

Another of my favourite places, Anstruther is lovely! Have a good time :)

Hope everyone has fun today. Its a beautiful day here and we're off to a wedding reception later on so I shall expect lots of pages to catch up on tomorrow!:thumbsup2

Oh, a question for all the Brits....

I was going to complete the ESTA forms today.....but do we still do this even though we're not flying into the US??? I'm a little confused (for a change) :confused3

What else do we need to do? Do we still have Advanced Passenger Information to fill out too....as well as the Cruise forms? :confused3

....Just need to get it all straight in my head before I start! (can't beleive I've forgotten all this in the 3 years since we last visited!) :rolleyes1

Thanks for the help!:thumbsup2

As far as Esta goes we should still need it as we have to gain admittance to the US at immigration whether through the airport or sea port. I think airlines still require an API to be done though as Spain requires them too I believe.

This is my weekend for doing the online paperwork.

Thank you! I did assume that but thought I'd check with you more experienced travellers!:thumbsup2

This board is totally addictive!! I don't even know you guys and your a bad influence on me! See this :surfweb: this is me this morning when I should be doing laundry, cutting grass, cleaning house, oh and I guess spending time with my family :rolleyes1. I'm just afraid I'm going to miss something if I don't check frequently.

:rotfl2: I know! I should have been helping dh clean the cars earlier but by the tie I'd finished on here he'd done them both! ;):lmao:

Back to the ESTA........if it asks for flight number and we're cruising, what do we put?? :confused3

On the EBTA I was in charge of Game Time - we met each sea day at 1 pm and played games with other Diser's - it was fun - I actually brought about 15 different types of games with us - this time to save space we will not be bringing them all but will still be bringing quite a few - almost all of our games are Disney Themed - including Pixar Monopoly, Villians Monopoly, Disney Monopoly, Disney Uno, Disney Apples to Apples, Disney Pictionary, etc. Not sure what all we are bringing this time.

That sounds very fun! Jason and i will definitely be bringing some games, too. The only Disney themed game we have is Disney Uno, though (we bought it on the ship during the Double Dip in 2008). We'll be bringing Bananagrams, travel boggle, taboo, buzz word for sure....we also have party games like scattegories, cranium, etc. and a few fun card games like Blink, Ziggity, Qwitch, Bandits, etc.

After posting my earlier inquiry about Chicago, I received recommendations for two different restaurants, so I tried them both! I had "Chicago-style" pizza at In-Laws and at Giordano's (no, not on the same night :rolleyes1 ) and, while both were good, the best IMHO was In-Laws.

Next time I am in Chicago can I go to their house for dinner? :rotfl2:

OUCH :scared1: This sounds very painful :scared1: Sending :hug::hug: and hope you are not in too much pain. Having dental treatment is a nightmare.

Are you going to share the link ..... I love reading blogs:thumbsup2

Do you have any pirates of the caribbean pins to trade ... if so I will be stalking you around the ship pirate:

I actually feel much better today, the throbbing is much less.

The link is http://suekraft.blogspot.com/ I don't have Stephens as yet, as he will start it for School. So far mine is a bunch of drivvle about what I need to do to be ready for the cruise...

I can't wait to see some of the pins that others have! I lost my lanyard and most of my favorite pins last year - we think left on board or at AK Lodge last year, but lost and found never found... So, I will be on the look out for neat pins!

20 huh? I will never be able to keep up!

The Drs onboard sound scary indeed. Reminder to all - NO GETTING HURT OR SICK ONBOARD!!!

Not old, settled... My kids want to wait and see the movie onboard. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I will wait and see it with them...
