Thanks!!!
I sure hope there was no fee attached with my payment. If so, please let me know!!!! So you all are arriving on Thursday? I could have sworn someone was arriving on Friday morning. <sigh>
I don't own a ball gown. Can't wear high heels, my doctor would come onboard and ***** slap me.I have a couple of very nice pants suits that I will wear with my crown. And I will oh and ah all the princess dresses and take your pics....
Yours is stunning Corrina...![]()
....I am also a band geek.....I saw this video of the Phantom regiment and know some of you will totally appreciate the control involved in it.
We're in on that, right?
Thanks for pushing for it and passing this along, Noel!
I agree that the itinerary sounds great! It includes everything that the DCL tour has, with the exception of lunch will be out of our own pocket. I didn't get the impression that the cab car is included with DCL, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Here's the link to the previous email they sent Noel. It doesn't reference the cost because they were not sure how much they could fit into our time table. If there was another one that had the cost, I forgot about it already, which wouldn't be a surprise!!![]()
I looked at the cancellation policy on DCL excursions, and it says "All Port Adventure tickets are non-refundable". Does anyone know if there's more to that statement, like you have to cancel at least 48 hours in advance to not be charged? I assume if that were true, it would say that. So my question comes down to if anyone has ever booked it on-line, then canceled it before they cruised, were they charged or not???
Also FYI, with respect to booking shore excursions, I spoke with DCL about canceling shore excursions. DCL said that if you cancel within 3 days before the cruise date to cancel the excursion. If not and you don't take the excursion, you will be charged.
I am glad to have this info as I may tentatively book a few excursions which I may cancel later if the timing doesn't work out for us.

I always book excursions that I think I might want to do at the booking date, and then cancel them as I figure out ways to do it on our own, or as our plans change. As others have confirmed, the usual rule is that you have to cancel them by 3 days prior to your sailing. They generally charge your onboard account and print the excursion tickets by the beginning of your cruise so the tickets can be placed in your stateroom. Same for SPA reservations and Palo, though you aren't generally charged for them until the time you receive the service, though they reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee should you not give advance notice of your cancellation.
This year there are some exceptions to this usual policy, and DCL now has excursions that are nonrefundable and must be paid at the time of booking. However, these are the "Signature" or "Adventure by Disney" related excursions that you have to call to book. So there is little risk that you would book one of these by accident online. One example is the Private Villas on Tortola.
I had to share this with the DIS board as no one else would understand. DH and I have spent the day finalizing our plans for shore excursion, he on his notebook and I on mine.
However, he has hooked my computer up to our 60" HD TV so he can watch my posts and when I go online to book the shore excursions.
He has just finished giving me his inputs on Castaway Cay. DH told me he is feeling sad just like our trip is ending.![]()

Do you mean too large for 6, and too small for 7?I have short wide feet. Size six I can't get the strap on the back. Size seven the strap slips off my heel. Does it make sense?
Per person either 25 Euros for the 10:30 Am tour or 30 Euros for the 8:30 AM tour. As previous post mention, cable car, tobbogan and lunch extra. I am trying to get a consensus as to which one people want to do. I think it is a really good deal.

Less than one hour my fellow Silver CC members and I think I've figured out what I want to do!![]()

They are both good deals, but the itinerary for the 8:30 start time is VERY good! Even with adding lunch and a taxi from Blandy's, it's less than DCL's cost of $99USD. PLUS, we get the added destination of Blandy's (flexibility to leave at your leisure or if it's because you have kiddos with you) and the option to go on the toboggan run! I really hope we have enough people for one of these options!!
OH! One other perk....we're all with our DIS family, not some strangers!
Stupid me one hour to early, we have summertime.![]()
