The PacSafe bag I ordered from Overstock.com came today. It looks like it will be very difficult for pickpockets to access. Thanks for the heads up on this purchase. It was on sale for just over $25 and I did not have to pay shipping because I am a first time customer. I like!

What colour did you get?

I so wanted one, but the shipping to the UK was more expensive than the bag.

I looked and never got as far as seeing how much it would cost to ship. What a pain.

Thanks for all the well wishes and I come with good news. I got the MRI results today and the muscle is not ruptured. It show that is sprain muscle that look like it is heeling and I have swelling in the wrist. There going to try and restrengthen the muscles in my arm with physical therapy and hope that is it. They also think there still could be a pinched nerve causing all the pain. I keep you updated. At least no surgery for now.

That is good news. Hope it is soon back to normal and pain free.

My wife and I are traveling to Europe in August for two weeks in Italy and Greece before heading to Barcelona for the Magic cruise back to the US. we will arrive in Barlona on the 14th.

We have not checked out this board before though I listen to the podcast regularly and have been to some DIS events in Orlando the past three Decembers and have done some writing for Passporter.

Is it too late to order t shirts?

I see two island type tours so any suggestions? I think the one with the sea trip might be nice.

It let me get on and get the spa day i wanted.....but then I started trying to do our excursions and by 12:04am the dolphin swim in Tortola was already gone and you can't book it anymore....so I moved on to our next excursion...got it...and then tried to get on to do the others and now it's telling me there is an "error" and that it either can't retrieve my ressie or someone else from my traveling party is booking things-----except there is nobody else linked to us (yet)!

Got Palo and excursions booked and everything we wanted at the times we wanted. I hope everyone had the same luck and everyone reserving ay 90 and 75 days get what they want. After 7 cruises this is the first time I was able to pick a time for Palo. We actually had to discuss that one for a minute or two.

Well, a friend who was booked on our cruise called me today to let me know that she and her family had to cancel. Good explanation--she'd been trying to get DH to tell her exactly when he could leave work to fly over and while she was waiting the prices increased $800 per person! Then he decided that was just too much and they needed to back out. Oh well.

I've almost lost my EBTA weight. Been working out every day. Now understand, we are not talking miracles here--I'm still fat, just a little less fat. It's way too hot these days to do yard work; that's my other effort.

This gang is SO organized. I'll be more into it when I have DD settled in her new college (or at least thru registration!)

That's a pity about your friend. There will be more cruises!
Love your fat comment, will be using that one! And less fat is better than more fat, right? I've decided that brown fat looks better than white fat, so I'm booking myself in for a spray tan before we go!

Just a thought but if you can wait for the t-shirts, I can probably stuff them in my suitcase and bring them to Barcelona for you? That's an option and should save you a bunch on shipping. Just letting you know....


See your learning - I no longer give DH an option - he's just along for the ride. I'll tell him the night we board and he gets to see the tickets. Otherwise - in one ear out the other. After all, same family tree right?

Thanks for the offer about the t-shirts, but I checked zazzle and the shipping is only around $20 for 4 shirts.
As for the DH's, your my kind of gal! My husband gets the run down of what we're doing when we get on the plane. I put all our flight details on his iPhone so he know what dates we'll be gone. And that's all the info he gets, or wants, he's happy for me to do it so he doesn't have to think about it.

reminds me of a recent Gene Simmons Family Jewels episode, they taught Gene how to Skype but he still didn't quite get it. He call from his hotel room with only a bathrobe on. Then his room service showed up and he got up to answer the door, not realizing that certain body parts would be right in front of the webcam.

So, I went and saw Sex and The City with all my girlfriends last night (no boys allowed). We hired out the entire Gold Cinema and some had Cosmo's, I had Caramel Slice, lol! I love SATC, but I'm not a die hard fan, I could have waited for the DVD release. But........I'm so glad I went, It was sooo funny, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! A word of warning if our knickers and bra talk last week made you blush, be prepared to turn fire engine red!
