I never travel without an eyeglass kit or a stocked travel first aid kit. I also always bring Airborne.

I HATE flying!!! In reality, it is the only way to go because I hate sitting in a car for a long ride to get somewhere. I don't look out the window, I always look at the pilot, and talk to him if possible, I bring magazines (that is a given) and during take off I just read, sometimes if I have a blanket, I like to cover up and I NEVER talk! If it is bumpy, I close my eyes and think of something that gives me peace - sometimes I fall asleep - other times I survive. We went to Boston in February and the pilot came on, right after take-off and said, "It is going to be a bad flight." My DH was like, "OH great, my wife will stare into space the whole flight." My DH, who LOVES to fly will explain that it is safe, etc. yadda yadda whatever. I also, and people might think this is weird - but I look at ALL the passengers as they walk on and I walk on to make sure they all look sane and that they have a purpose in life that doesn't involve me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully I'll pass the sane test with my Mickey t-shirt, Mickey carryon bag, Mickey earphones, wearing Crocs with socks, my face with a Shrek-like pallor, walking to my seat like a death march, carrying my D&B Mickey sketch handbag, DVC airplane blanket, and Sailor Mickey, waiting for the beverage cart so I can inhale my two bottles of wine.

No you didn't offend me. I didn't even see the comment, I had to go back and find it. I was only skimming quickly last night! I do LGBT Healthcare Advocacy work for an HIV/AIDS organization----so sexual health is my bread and butter----it takes a lot more than oral contraceptives to offend or shock me!

OK, I have permission to use the graphic that was shown earlier for the tastings shirts. Jordak was kind enough to say YES and the mods basically said that as long as Jordak was good, we were fine. So, please submit all shirt orders by May 28th.

STANDARD CRUISE SHIRTS::

Please submit all orders by May 28. Once we have orders we will get exact pricing and shipping. Not sure how we will go about getting the shirts out to everyone at this point, but I don't think I have an extra suitcase... Maybe Todd does... (doubtful)

....well cancellation, actually. I heard back from KellyJeanDVC today and she has had to cancel the cruise, unfortunately, so I removed her from the lanyard list. She said she will be coming on the boards to let folks know herself sometime soon and wish us all well...but in case anyone else is waiting on her for tshirts or fish extenders or any other group activities, I thought I'd let you know.


This leaves it out there now that I only need hear from:

Dis-Bits (Who is entirely MIA and hasn't posted in a long time, or ever, and hasn't replied to multiple PMs. I think I got their information off the roll-call website. Are we sure they're not a figment of su_kraft's husband's imagination, too? I was only able to send PMs, no email, cuz I don't have an email address since they registered for lanyards using the website and not email or PM I think. Do we have an email address for them anywhere from the roll-call site?)

On the WBPC cruise we had people who just signed up for the FE right in the early days of the thread, then never made another post, or replied to any PM's or emails to see if they were still going. They were removed from the list, and then when they WERE onboard and didn't get any gifts in their FE's they were very cross and kept leaving comments on peoples dry wipe boards or in their FE"S!!!!!

Do you guys have "Snuggi's" over there? I can just picture us all lined up at the cove cafe with our snuggi's on! Thought about them for FE's, Just can't fit them all in (stupid luggage restriction!).

I want to fly with you too! The only thing, I don't know if you tried this before, but I tried the beverage and medication and was up and hyper the entire flight! Drove me crazy - wouldn't recommend it if you haven't tried it.

That is horrible about the FE's on the EBTA. I cannot believe people would be rude. Did they leave things in FE's or did they just expect to get something because they signed up? I would take those people off if they are not answering their PM's or emails.

No, they did deliver gifts which was nice. They said that they had signed up for the FE right at the start. Whether they had changed their email addresses I don't know. I know different people tried to make contact including someone just trying to find out who was actually still going.

I guess I don't consider that an excuse as you can always buy things on board to put in the FE. I can understand things come up at the last minute but to just not participate is not fair especially for the young kids.

I don't mind flying.....but my arms ache after a bit

Seriously though....I don't mind it...its a means to an end, after all. But I do mind that my hubby likes to sit by the window and then sleeps the whole trip.
