I heard the Dolphin swim was great in Tortola! I have not been to Discovery Cove, but the picture was amazing. We did a Western on the Magic last September and did the dolphin encounter in Cozumel - AMAZING! Definitely worth every penny.

LittleDisneyLovers - see you on Deck 9 for some good mag reading!!!!:cool1:

I was trying to attach my dolphin picture, but I do not know how - boo hoo!!! :confused3

Sandi, if you use photobucket, it is really very easy to attach photos. PM me if you need help.

Hi I'm Goofy Granny and Hoagie Pie's MIL. :) I have a lot to read but I wanted to say hi! Looking forward to meeting you all in September.

I would like to sign up for FE's but didn't put that on my roll call. Sorry!

Hi to you too!:littleangel: Happy reading!

I have a question for anyone who has rented a car from Port Canavarel before....Is there a site that is nearest the port? Do they pick you up after the cruise so you can go get the car?

Any recommendations?

We've always picked up our car from the airport in the past and obviously this time we will be sailing in rather than flying :cool1:

Thank you:angel:

We have used Budget through Usrentacar, so you can pay in £'s beforehand. Budget is the 2nd closest and Hertz is the closest I believe. Both have shuttles to and from their depots and the port. It has been quite easy the 3 times we have used them.

We used Budget. It's about 5 minutes away. They had a shuttle that comes around the morning the cruise ship docks. It continues on a loop for some time picking people up and then continues dropping people off. It's really very easy.

We always use Hertz as we are #1 Club members. www.hertz.com (321) 783-7771 - 8963 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral, FL. I am sure the other car companies like Budget, Avis etc. have similar services.

I go and get the car whilst John gets the bags. Hertz has a shuttle picking up from all the ships continuously so I don't have to call. I just come back and pick him up in the loading area.

The only thing to be aware of at least with Hertz is that they charge $2.50 per day (capped at $10.00) plus the tolls at a later time so you can use the Sun Pass , EZ pass unmanned car lane. Sure saves time in getting to WDW which is 65.5 miles from Hertz.

Just my thoughts...

Okay, let's give this a try, but I hope the picture isn't huge - thanks for your help!

This is my DD with "her" dolphin in Cozumel! It did work, but small!!!

Do we have a date that we want to do tea? I heard from DCL concierge and I have a conference set uop with them for next week. If there is a date we are looking for, I can see if they can get it set uop for us.

Just a thought...

Sue

My best recommendation on Tea is to do it on a day where the dinner menu isn't super special or spectacular if there are any choices. Having early dining, I learned in December that doing Tea and then doing dinner was way too much food in too short of time. So I just ended up picking at dinner though it was the Captain's Gala menu with the lobsters.

Does anyone know if the T-Shirts are available for purchase yet? It said in May. Any ifo would be great. Excited to meet everyone.

You can go back out to roll call and edit your form. If you didn't choose a password, Mickey should work.

Great pic of your DD in Cozumel!!

With respect to size of picture, Photobucket uses the size of the photo you used when you uploaded the picture.

For example, this is a picture of my nephew Erik and his fiancée Jessica. The size is 50kb and measures 604 x 453 pixels.

I think you make a very good point and concierge should be able to make appropriate recommendations. Our Land Concierge was very helpful in that way when we did the 2007 NYE cruise.

You are so sweet for helping me. Love the picture of your nephew and fiancee! Looks like they were having a good time! I will check the pixels next time.

Okay, so I thought I would show pictures of who my Hoagie Pie actually is:

I hope this is bigger! She is one of the greatest joys in my life!!! I never had a dog and when we got her, took me a while to get adjusted, but now I cannot imagine life without her. I am sure many of you feel that way because I have seen your pet pictures, which are so adorable. Oh well, still small, but I am getting the hang of it!

I believe the post # 1 says no orders will be taken until May 2010 but Sue can correct me if that has changed.

From Post # 1

Okay all you Pirates,Princesses,Wenches,Swabbies and just you regular folk , I just got done talking to my T shirt printer (He does all the uniforms and Tees for my 6 Football teams) and He has cleared our design for the Cruise Embarkation T shirt - These will be silk screened and will look wonderful ... We will only be doing White as it will be Hot Hot Hot when we leave Barcelona , ( I was going to do Black but we opted against it)

So , below is the design for the Front and Back of the Official TransAtlantic Pirates Embarkation T-Shirt - We will not take orders till May of 2010 - Cost should be around 10.00 to 12.00 dollars per shirt , maybe less plus shipping charge .... We will probably take order for about a month to allow enough time for shipping to everyone .... So without further ado , Here is the Design

She is a sweetie!! I can not face having another dog after we lost our two Cocker Spaniels. We had them for 14 years. Since we travel so much these days it wouldn't be fair to have fur babies.

For this trip she will be staying with dad, but I completely understand. I stay home during the day so I get to spend even more time with her. Usually when we take family vacations, just the 3 of us, she stays with Goofy Granny and she is a GREAT sitter!!!

I did see that, but since it is May, I thought he might be taking orders already.

SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!!!

I take a day off and come back to 11 pages!!!

It's like "war and peace" trying to keep up with you guys. :rotfl:

Hello to all you new folks, and welcome.

I've got nothing to reply to, or add. I promise not to take another day off ;)

What are DIS friend for if not to help each other?

Erik is a sweetie. He and Jessica were at a wedding of a close friend when that shot was taken. Erik is about a year old than youngest DD Samantha and they were very close growing up, often times being mistaken for brother and sister. He and his brother Rob played football for De La Salle High School and also played football for Colorado State and Leigh respectively.

Here is a shot when he was much younger. Perhaps you can see some resemblance to DD Samantha.
