very smart.
Well it doesn't give long to get the barbie started does it?:lmao:

Not sure we will bother getting off - well perhaps for a little walk. We aren't beach people really, though we do love the island.
We will have to get the petrol out, lol.
Sue, those costumes are great! I don't have any hints to soften it though...sorry.

My DH is very excited because Iron Man 2 comes out at midnight. He has tickets to go with his friends so I hope he has a great time! I wouldn't mind seeing it at some point, but I don't need to see it on opening night.
I fancy that film, actually its robert downy jr I think;)
DH and I want to try the Pelican Plunge on CC. Anyone else?

oh, yes,definatly:thumbsup2

Well we got some incredible amazing wonderful news today-----we learned from our TA that the prices on the Med portion of our B2B trip were dropped significantly (and I mean like a LOT!!) and that even though we are already paid in full...that DCL is going to refund us the difference!! What was just a downright embarrassingly expensive trip has now been reduced to just being exorbitant! :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

....information continues to roll in for Lanyards. I am now only missing about a dozen people's confirmations:

alexturner74
Dis-Bits
figment795 & tigger795
Harvey
jewelmicky
KAP158
KellyJeanDVC
LadyPoo
OKWJim
Sue L
YodaMouse

And based on information others have shared it really seems like: alexturner74, Dis-Bits, Harvey KellyJeanDVC & Sue L are probably all still aboard but just haven't replied to me yet....and that jewelmicky is definitely off the cruise. That really leaves me only 5 more traveling parties who are still question marks on my list! Things are finally coming together!!! :thumbsup2

That is awesome! More spending money for the cruise now! :thumbsup2

Erik,
There are a bunch of new cruisers coming on. Is there anyway to hold off until PIF date? Or would this cause too many problems?

Erik,

Well honestly since I've been delayed in ordering the actual lanyards because I'm waiting on some folks to confirm their info...I already HAVE been PMing folks who join the boards recently to ask if they want lanyards and some have been responding. I was also actually planning on ordering a set number of extra lanyards that are unspoken for....and allowing on a first come, first serve basis letting folks who sign up later or even closer to the sail date for those lanyards (and if there are extras, then usually you split them up amongst lanyard team members and let them give them to their favorite CM's on the ship, etc.)

So I have built in the ability to get some of the folks who get on at the last minute an opportunity to get lanyards. My biggest stress is that because I'm doing the B2B AND we're going to Orlando for almost a week prior to that even...time is less on my side than it would normally be for a Sept. 18th cruise.

I need to have the lanyards in hand sooner rather than later because I still have to actually figure out exactly how we're getting them to Barcelona. My ideal is that they are not too bulky or heavy and we can fit them all in one backpack that jason carries as his carry-on. He never has a carry-on when we travel TO our trips---specifically so that he can have one on the return trip if we need an extra carry-on on the way home because we bought too much! :lmao: So my hope is that we can fill his carry on with lanyards (and dare I hope fish extender gifts, too??), which we will be rid of once we're on the trip and then fill that carry on with souvenirs on the way home. If that plan doesn't work then we have to figure out what to do....finding room in our luggage (and I'm more likely to develop a cure for cancer to be honest :lmao:) or maybe splitting up the lanyards and sending small packages of them out to various volunteers from this thread who have generously offered to carry them over for us---or maybe even figuring out if I can ship them to myself at the hotel where we're staying prior to the cruise. These options are not my ideal because I'm a control freak and I feel more comfortable having the lanyards in my possession the whole time-----so that I"m sure they arrive and they are all there at the port and/or on deck when I need them to distribute.....

.....aaaaaaaah!! The stress of it all! ;)

We went to see it last Saturday evening. It was a real fun film, I prefered the first one but Carl said they were both equally good. :)

Looks like I will have to be trying these out in October. Purely for research purposes of course. :lmao:

Me too!!! Race you!!:lmao:

Now that was down right crule!!!!:lmao:
My wisdom is.... take a bite , run a mile, take a bite... RUN!!!:rotfl2:

BTW..... DCL called, and I asked them again about the time at CC..
Looks like we can dock:cool1:
We'll be getting in at 10am and leave at 5pm. Things are looking up!
Things keep going our way, we'll be arriving at 5am and leave at midnight
:banana::lmao::banana::lmao:

Ann:yay:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I purchased our trip insurance today. What else is there to do..... I feel like we are running out of time, but really we have awhile to wait still. :upsidedow

Does anyone know why we don't arrive at Castaway Cay until 11:45? That's 2 hours later than on a regular Eastern Caribbean trip; the Eastern I looked at left St. Thomas at 3:45 (same time as we leave Tortola) and arrived at CC at 9:45. Just curious if anyone knows. THANKS!

Since Tortola is only 25 miles further from CC than St. Thomas, assuming that they normally sail at max speed (which I doubt), it would still only be a difference of about an hour. :confused3

I'm glad to hear that they're now saying we dock at 1000! :cool1:

Serenity Bay, here we come!!!

Erik,

Since we live in Orlando, we could meet you while you're there and carry some to Barcelona (deliver them at the Hard Rock Cafe meet or hand them back to you on board?). Something to consider in case the backpack idea doesn't work out.

Doesn't solve the control freak issue! :lmao:

YAY! More Spa and cocktail dollars!!! ;)

That is just mean....eating an elephant, I don't think I would feel right about that....maybe just a little bit of trunk to taste? :rotfl:

I would love to help, If you just post them to Australia first, then I can try and fit them in my bags? :lmao::lmao::lmao:
I too am a slightly over organised control freak, But my DH is always impressed at how smoothly everything goes when we're on vacation. He doesn't even know what we're doing day to day, He just follows along! ;)

Eric the pricing on the 09/08 cruise is just plain odd, lol.

CAT 12 $2119
CAT 11 $5419
Cat 10 $5670
Cat 9 $3119
cat 8 $6619
cat 6 $4119

Interesting pricing...

Sue, I love, love, love your costumes! :worship:
And to think I thought we could get away with some pirate / skull head t-shirts! I better step it up a notch!!!
Becca is adorable, I would just get some leggings for her to wear underneath.
Lucy has actually been pestering me about a dress with a big skull on the front and some sequined leggings, I think I'll have to give in and get her them. Luggage space is becoming harder to find! We will be fine after I get rid of all my FE's though ;), have to have room for USA shopping! :goodvibes
