Hi Ya'll,

Long post but happy results!!!

After suffering two weeks from Vertigo, I am feeling about 99% better tonight. I had called the Dr. on Monday and he gave me some information to check on the web for some exercises. He also did mention that there is a center that helps with the dizziness and if I wasn't feeling better in a few days, we could consider that. I called back yesterday and my information was given to the center and they called today and I was set up with an appointment for next Wednesday. But I told her that if there was any cancellations to call me and I could make it in since I wasn't working. Well as luck was in my corner, she called back and there was an opening for today. When the therapist started asking me questions and explaining how the inner ear works and the dizziness affects one, I felt such a relief. I was feeling all those symptoms and I knew I was going to be helped. Then we did a few exercises to find out where my problems was. She then had me put these big goggles on and I could not see but there was a little camera inside that could see my eyes. She had me lay down and the world started spinning but I had to keep my eyes open. That was hard. Then she sorta jiggled my head and tapping on a few places. After that, I rested and we did it all again. She feels that she was able to manipulate the crystals and I should be feeing much better. I have to admit that driving home I was already feeling much better. I did take a nap this afternoon cause she did say I would be very sleepy. For the next few days I have to sleep on just my left side and by next Friday, I will go back in and she hopes this visit helped me so I don't need another treatment.

Yes I am a little miffed that the Dr didn't mention this sooner even though I know they usually like to treat with medicine first. If I hadn't seen my sisters post to me about manipulations and crystals, I would have not known to ask more questions and get more help.

We have a spoodle (cocker spaniel / poodle), she chews everything! She ate my BAS last week which is my quarterly tax activity statement that needed to be lodged, Had to ring the tax department and request another form! She can get into my walk-in pantry and eats everything from dry pasta to cereal, she also loves eating pens and the little hard bit on the bottom of thongs (flip-flops).

Ah youll have to post a pic of your spoodle! Sounds like a very cute combination.

Question for the UK residents -
I tried to order the DCL DVD and it doesn't have Australia available on he list, so I e-mailed DCL to ask if I could get one. NO! They won't send to Australia, just wondering whether they post to the UK? Weird? I wonder why not?
It's not a major problem, I just wanted to prepare and excite the family with the DVD.

It seems pot luck if you can get it in the UK or not. We managed to last year by emailing them but the year before were told no. Try emailing again next week as you may get a different response

I couldn't get one in the UK. An option is to get someone in the US to get one and be kind enough to mail it to you.

So many to make.... But we did it, and decided to upgrade to a cat 3. So, I am now trying to get a list of all the little things that I would try to arrance and can now pass to someone else! We haven't stayed in a suite before so if there are things that the concierge can set up that might not be on my list, please let me know!

So, other decisions... What to do for excursions... I am pretty sure that we want to do the City Under Siege tour in Gibralter. And that is about where I am stuck. I would love to go snorkeling with Stephen - but that leaves Glenn and Becca on their own, so I am not sure what to do...

I would have been beyond livid as well! They always treated us fine, until that final ridiculous rate increase.

I can so remember that. You couldn't speak for a day after that happened!!!!That was during Mouse Meets on our Dec 2008 cruise.

I checked on land and I had a couple thousand dollars, got on the ship, couple hundred dollars. My jaw is tight just thinking about it.

Today we also paid for our MNSSHP on Sunday 3rd October, never been in Florida at this time of year before so really looking forward to it, hope it not too Shame it wasn't the 4th as thats my birthday!

Had a trial run with our cases yesterday and we should just about do it, who comes up with these stupid weight restrictions don't they know crusiers need outfits (20kgs)

It's getting closer and we can't wait

LOL we could always fill an entire page with it! Dan's fixing his car so I text him a similar message and he went "really? Is it that close" lol! For months hes been going "its too far away to worry about or think about" and finally he's actually saying its soon!

It does sound/look so much closer in weeks than days doesn't it? I almost panicked!!!!! With it only being definite this week I haven't been planning much in case we had to cancel!!!!

Hey, as the MNSSHP goes till midnight, you could still be enjoying it on your birthday!!!!!

As I have said before, I bet my toiletries almost weigh 20kg!!!!! Do what Lynne(Orlandthebeagle) is doing and just take small amounts to tide you over and buy when you get to Gibralter in Morrisons or M&S!!!

Have already done the product decanting into little bottles and thought of the trip to Morrisons - I have naturally curly hair and I just have to have my products otherwise luckily we also have a 10kg hand luggage allowance which I'll be using for more clothes.

Of course you can have a birthday button. To be honest I think most birthday buttons are pinned on folk who are nowhere near their birthdays!!! Enjoy wearing it!!!

LOL yep you don't have to prove its your birthday to get one! In 08 Dan wouldn't go get one on his birthday but I had put on the reservation at Yachtsman it was his birthday and the greeter noticed he didn't have a badge so made him wear one lol!

Does anyone know what the usual penalty for Westjet is for rebooking tickets? We are scheduled to fly back on OCtober 2nd from Orlando and are now thinking of spending another 2 days in Florida. I am desperate to go to MNSSHP! The flights later are actually cheaper so we are hoping the penalty isn't too great and we could do it on the cheap....

Lynne (Orlandothebeagle) is sorting it so pm her is probably best as shes away for the weekend and may miss the post. Last time when we did the room tour, the conceirge rooms arranged snacks through their conceirge guy but arranged in adavance that one would do sweet and one savoury so they weren't identicle.
