Well I had my hospital appointment to get my MRI results today. Good news is nothing nasty which is what I anticipated, but they want to take the gallbladder out as there is some inflammation and tiny gallstones. It is the tiny gallstones that are the problem passing down the bile duct and going into the pancreatic one causing the nasty acute pancreatitis. They don't want me to have another attack, and I sure don't. Apart from being one of the most painful things, it can be fatal.
So, that should be done in the next 2-3 weeks, by keyhole surgery hopefully, so no big deal, and I should(barring complications) be absolutely fine for this vacation.

I have to continue with my low fat diet till then.
Just need to make sure of the cancellation policy and dates just in case as I can't get insurance till it is all over, and these dates are fast approaching!
I can start looking forward again and planning!!!
