I just went and bought some Bonine. My DD was driving, so I was able to check it out. Stopped the nausea pretty quick. I'll be bringing a box or two.
I get sea sick, air sick, car sick. Motion bothers me.

The last time I cruised during September I vowed to stop celebrating my birthdays with a cruise.
During that hurricane (I think it was Erika, but won't swear to it) I sat on the deck wrapped up in a blanket and watched the horizon and the waiters brought me a drink everytime they saw my glass was empty. I was actually okay. Dinner was fun. The boat was at an angle (Celebrity) and we had to keep catching our drinks. After dinner, I went to my room, put on my pjs, and brought up my pillow. I was going to sleep there on deck. About 2:00am they made me go inside.

Since that cruise, I've been cruising April, May and December. They have all been really calm cruises. Now they say this is going to be the worse hurricane seaon in decades. YAY me.

I'm bringing Dramimene, Bonine, sea bands, ginger tabs and the patch. My cabin is pretty much midship. And I have a balcony, so I'll have air and can watch the horizon from my bed if necesary.
Two questions. One.. if the waves are 30 foot, do they allow you to go out on your balcony? Would YOU go out on your balcony? Is the balcony safe?
Two.. can anyone give me any other items I should bring to help me?
