Did I read talk of St Thomas for this cruise? I didn't think we were visiting St Thomas......am I wrong??

Finally got fed up of watching intrest rates and getting nervous as the final payment date approached...so we are now PIF too.

Not sure how many remember me - I'm Laura AKA eeyorelvr10. Seems Steve and I will be going on this cruise as final payment was finally made. I feel like I've been off DIS for years. Been on another site and avoided this one. Forgot how slow it can get. But at least I'm here and hoping to see some familiar faces on the cruise. I will be playing catch soon as DD gets out of school on June 3 and I will finally have some play time.

Anythign I've missed and need to sign up for? Or is it all too late?

Hi Laura, glad you are PIF and coming on the cruise. I think I remember you from the WBPC in 2008. Were you part of the FE dry wipe boards delivered on the first night?


I think everything is still open to sign up for - have a look at the first page. I know there are extra lanyards being made so I'm sure you could get one. See the website.

Hi there Marilyn! Yup I was on the dry erase group. I recognize your name. Kool! I signed up on the site and sent some PM's out and hoping to hear good news about joining at the last minute. This time its DH and I. Hoping this cruise will be a more relaxed and quiet one. One day I will get into the pool I promise.

Buckeye Gal (Kimberly), I think we did meet in passing at the terminal in Long Beach. I thought you were with a bigger group? Am I just imagining it? I remember flower shirts? We were waiting to board - we got there late? Or was that for another cruise? Could have been the family cruise? Oh they run into each other after a while. But maybe this time we can finally spend some DIS time together.

Thanks all for remembering me. Its tough when you drop off the face of the world and try to re-enter. I feel so lost. Had to ask Pam AKA Disney Sweetie how to send a PM when your not on the person's post.

Just popping in with a quick hi. Been back for about 4 hours from having my op. All has gone well. Been sleeping mostly. Have pain from the op and the gas they pump in, but this will go one way or another!!!

I look like they have drained the life blood from my face!!!

Welcome back!! I think you got back in time to join everything. The only thing sort of closed is the lanyards but I believe Erik was going to order extras and offer them on a first come basis. The fish extenders are split into manageable groups (for weight transporting purposes) and I believe there is still a group open there. Shirt deadline is coming soon.

I met some wonderful Diser's on my DD two years ago. Many of us keep in touch through FB and some will be on this trip. Already feeling like I'm getting to know a lot more friends for this cruise and can't wait to meet everyone!!!

I haven't been to Long Beach, so it must have been my "twin"! My last cruise was Sept '08, and it was with family, but there were only three of us. Sounds like that group was a fun group to have had flower shirts on though! We'll meet this time!

Don't worry. I've not been here for a couple of days and thought I'd missed some important information about change of ports. I thought I had also missed GOLD castaway booking date and started to panic until I realised it was 5th June.
