You can add Dennis to this list also. Especially line dancing he will NOT! I did get him to take a set of ballroom dance lessons just before our daughters' weddings...but that was 20 years ago. Not much dancing for us now. But that's ok with me there are lots and lots of other fun things to do.

Well the 2nd EBTA blog I have been reading has at last been updated. Last post was in Epcot before the cruise!!! It seems they don't like any of the entertainment so far. Not enough going on during the day - well not as much provided as they had on the last TA they were on. The magician was a disaster apparently and she didn't like the new Villains show. Alfred and Seymour she found funny but not amazing. Oh dear. Anyway she still said it has been amazing.

Due to the time changes each night they are sleeping till lunchtime!!!! At least that won't be our problem will it - we will be waking up at 3am!!!

This is Brooklyn's blog, she was on our cruise before she swap to the EB and 1st med, her older daughter is an aspiring actress.

Last time they did "learn Spanish" on the way to Barcelona each day and then "learn dancing" on the way back, with a different dance each day. I quite liked the idea of something over a few days. Didn't make it to any of them on the last 2 TA's mind lol! Mum went to learn ballroom and Mum & Lindsay learnt to line dance (under the influence of a Michael Jordan Wine Tasting event where a whole table of 8 people next to us never turned up so us and a neighbouring table shared out the already poured wine portions!).

I left DM to drink both our tequila tasting sets when I got queasy just from the smell (and the 12' waves,) her walker was not traveling in a straight line after that event, but she was smiling.

LOL first time we did it I was so so confused but managed to get the answer somehow over the nights (well actually managed to get all but 1 little bit which we guessed but hadn't written down clearly enough on the papers we had to hand in so they said they wouldn't accept it). They hadn't changed it for the second on so we knew the answer lol!

I haven't told Dan the answer so if it is the same I am going to let Dan do it and not tell him the answer!

From Heather's blog (Desperate Shipmates,) it is the same characters as the 2008 WBPC, I bet it is the same answer. The three adults in our room couldn't figure it out but the 8 year old figured it out from our notes, lol.

Hey SW! What a small world! I live just the other side of Reading to you, but we used to live right by Tilehurst and I worked at Little Heath school. I pop into the Disney store a lot too....and am often to be found drinking coffee in Starbucks in The Oracle I go there with another Disney fan too....there are plenty of us!

Another Disney fan ??? so that makes 3 of us, who knew? our very own Disney community can't believe we've booked onto the same cruise though!

I once ran into someone i knew from home in the Magic Kingdom in WDW. i was just walking down Main Street and heard someone calling my name. You never expect to fly halfway around the world, go into a theme park with tens of thousands of people and bump into someone you know.

It is a small world after all.

Oh I got this on Monday so not that much difference. Was disappointed because on the last TA we got a magnet with this stuff on and a map of the cruise. Oh well never mind!

Bummer! Hopefully we'll get a different perk! I suppose the $100 per person onboard credit was a good one!

Thanks Sarah! It seems to have come on suddenly too which isn't nice. Dan had the joys of trying to cool me down with wet flannels on Thursday night as I was on fire but claiming I was cold! Not fun! Today we seem to have gone to the cold sweats stage! I hope this passes soon!

Hey I think there's a few of us on the 7:30pm flight from Heathrow with BA.


We are on the 16.45 flight from Heathrow to Barcelona.

If you are looking for a hotel in Barcelona we're staying at the Renaissance at the airport. 99Euros a night including breakfast and airport shuttle. Its 10 Euros then for the shuttle to the port the next morning

As you know Sarah we are staying at this Rennaisance Hotel, but didnt know they had a shuttle to the port. We have booked disney transfers for our Med cruise and the TA one. I wonder if we can cancel the TA one as we havent paid yet ?.

Hey Jon, We are going, we went back in 2008 and had a blast, Kids had so much candy though, we left in at hotel for mousekeeping!
The tickets go on sale on the 29th of this month.

Did anybody receive a phone call from DCL regarding ground transfers in Europe? Of course I wasn't there when they called (I was making some magic at the Disney Store) and I haven't called them back yet. I'm not sure what they mean by ground transfers - maybe from the hotel to the ship, I don't now. Just wondering if anybody else got the same call.

Today is our 6 month wedding anniversary! I can't believe I've been married for 6 months - it feels like it was just yesterday!

Oh no ..... mind you I'm not a fan of variety style shows eg magicians etc and most of all I HATE ventriloquists so I hope we don't have any of those on board. I will love the production / musical shows though so I can always do something else on the variety show evenings.

I'm not so fussed on the variety shows either. I don't mind the ventriloquists so much (especially the adult shows) but I don't like the magicians.

One session we did enjoy, was learning to be a ventriloquist, I think that was our first cruise - that kept us entertained for hours "practicing" - lets just say that I won't be making a career out of it.

Of all the performers I've seen on the Disney ships, I've enjoyed John Charles the most.

I think its going to be quite a crowd. We've always booked cat 11/12 and have yet to stay in one - we have got upgraded to a 9 or on the EBPC, we got moved to a cat 4 after a few nights due to a leak above our bed - the gods were smiling on us to get such an "upgrade".

We have just been chatting what we would do if that lovely cloud is still around by then. I wonder if they would let us hire a car and leave it at Barcelona!!!

We are talking about this too. Hopefully it will have stopped but if not we will have to have a contingency plan which will involve a very long journey on trains and a ferry. My auntie is supposed to be going

"I know I have already posted once today but OMG! I just had to tell you all about the fantastic show we just saw! It was another new one about Walt Disney - the Dream Lives On. It was clips and dance numbers of a lot of the movies and cartoons he made. Starting with the mouse. It was just great! It made me remember all of those movies I had forgotten about from when I was a little girl. Even my friend who didn't care for the Villians show because she liked the Golden Mickeys better liked it. I hope they keep it on the ship for a long time so everyone has a chance to see it. It even made me a little teary-eyed at the end. GREAT!!! Have a good night!"
