Good Morning Transatlantic Cruisers ..... today is a very important day ........


we are now in the "twenties"

ONLY 29 WEEKS TO GO UNTIL WE BOARD THE DISNEY MAGIC

Yeah our dates for like today the 27th Feb would be 27/2/10 but you would be 2/27/10. Its great fun trying to remember especially when your birthdays the 12th of March as in some places I've written it and theyve assumed Im a December child lol

I love back to front language Its too funny when our words are same but different. Like we say pants for knickers or underpants...instead of pants for trousers

LOL I know! Logically the pants thing though is so mixed up. Underpants does kind of suggest that trousers are pants yet we don't call them that! Very odd! Fanny Pack is still my all time favourite one

I emailed them - thanks to a heads up from Lynne (orlandothebeagle) - and got them to rebook me. The price of the room had gone up by around $70 per person but still worked out a decent saving and I kept my OBC. I think its around $150 cheaper than I was paying with FSC. Still not sure if I did the right thing as would get an extra $150 back if they did refund FSC but I thought it wasn't worth the risk.

When we will get the OBC if it is forthcoming. I may wait until last minute and then if it hasn't happened I may do what you did. Obviously can only do this before PIF date I would imagine

We are looking forward to our WB cruise and I have treated my sister to a cabin with her partner, they haven't cruised before and we are doing the Dover-Barcelona starting in Jul as our daughter as well as she, my daughter feels it unfair that we 2 couples are cruising without our kids. That was said when she was on the Christmas 09 cruise!!!!

Do you think that we will not have as many kids due to the duration and time of year of the cruise.

Woo Hoo all that time no kids.

Yeah I would have waited it out longer but felt a bit like I should just go for it the one day.

Oh and yes unfortunately I saw some great things a few months back. Sad I know but they were a real bargain!

I know on the last 2 TA's there were less kids! The kids club staff on one night were in the hot tubs by the adult pool as theyd given some of them the night off and they said there were a lot less kids than normal

Dont worry you wouldn't be! Couldn't find much Welsh down here! Newport is like the least welsh city and even the welsh shop we have was a little naff! Went for fun gifts instead. Oh and easily packable I hope lol

LOL! Well I managed to paddle in the Mickey pool while it was empty and we did get to go in Oceanears Club one night and make Flubber - although only made the EBTA one as on the WBTA they scheduled this at the same time as dinner for late seating!

I still want to be able to go in the Stack! Sad I know but it looks lush!

Re disney package...............this is funny

We have lots of snow up our drive, some a****le had been skidding and made a right mess, wheel spinning, dug up half the drive??!! I just knew it had been a white van man.

Never thought about it, I was at mums to collect beagles post hairdresser(have a new short highlighted and low lighted hair do(whatever that is)) for hols next week.

We did it! My DW and I have been reading these posts since they were started. We booked the WBTA the first morning in Fall 2008. Our airfare is on US Air from Portland, OR to Philadelphia and then to Barcelona. We will be staying at The Praktik, Barcelona from Wednesday through Saturday. The only thing we have left to do is figure out transfers from the Barcelona Airport to the hotel and to the port on Saturday morning.

When Rylea goes outside to play she likes to run around with sticks and chew them up. She is like a wood chipper. She'll break off small pieces until the branch is just a pile of chips.

In the winter the snow covers the branches on the ground so she goes right to the source. THE TREE.

No low level branches in our yard

Okay, hope this is okay, but I wanted to post a Question for the Day: What are your FAVORITE CRUISE DRINKS???
Mine include: Bon Voyage, BBC (DH's favorite), and the Mocha with Bailey's in the Cove Cafe

Whatever the drink of day is. Bahama Mama, Planters punch, pina colada, rum runner, martini tasting, strawberry daquiri, Long Island iced tea, red drinks, green drinks, coffe with spirits bring it on!!!

Driving this morning was not any better. I got caught in a snow drift this morning and had to wait about a minitue for the wind to die down. here is a pic out of my windshield when i was caught in it.
