Our DD DISer Sweetpea Bass was on the Magic this past week and was among those "stranded" on Castaway Cay. She was NOT sad to have to stay on the Magic one more night. Disney is doing a bang up job of compensating both those that had to spend an extra night aboard and those that get their cruise shortened by a day on the next cruise. :thumbsup2

Have a great time . . .

Travel Safe and have a great time

Have a wonderful trip!!

Have a safe and fun trip

Have a wonderful time Woody and Mrs Woody.

Have a great time.

Have a great trip!!!
Thank you, everyone!

We got back today. Although rain was in the forecast, we fortunately had sunny weather.

I'm gone one week, and there's 19 pages to catch up. Yikes!

Weather prevented them from leaving. There is a thread about it. So, they are returning to PC tonight rather than last night. Their cruise extended the one day while they stayed on the ship at the dock at CC and the one that should have sailed today will go out tomorrow for a 6 night cruise, skipping St. Maarten.

WOW, I've been in Los Angeles for 1 week and there is hours of reading to catch up, Sorry if I've missed anything really important!
So....I come all the way from Australia for 1 week in California and the closest I get to Disneyland is dinner at Ralph Brennan's, at least I got some Beignets!!!

I see we've lost a family and gained a few. We will also be pulling the kids out of school for just over 2 weeks, my girls are still young (8 & 9) so It's not a major problem yet.

Wow, You guys have had some serious snow, We drove out to Las Vegas from LA and could see snow on all the mountains, Nothing like some of you have had though. Some of the photo's are quite amazing. We've had some pretty severe flooding here, the highest it's been in over 100 years on the river we live on. Have a look at this,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmD--tVeEGg
Amazing! We didn't have any damage, but our next door neighbour has fish from the river in his pool!:scared1:

Ok, We've finished booking our flights all the way through to Barcelona now (Brisbane-Singapore-London-Barcelona). I have accom in Barcelona, Cruise booked and paid. Now I just need to organise our 12 days in WDW (CBR or POR???) and flights home from Orlando. Getting there........my husband has no idea how much planning goes into these things! I haven't even looked at ADR's!

So much to do......STILL SO MUCH TIME :rotfl:

:love::love:HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY:love::love:

to all of my cruising friends xxx

Hope you all have a great day :goodvibes:goodvibes

What is everyone up to today .....

( DH is working a late shift and I am working a night shift so no Valentine's celebration for us ... will postpone it to another day)

John has sent some pics from Barcelona but only of Lufthansa and Spainair airplanes. He also send some food and baggage pics.If he sends some actual pics of Barcelona, I will post.

This is a typical John picture. Here he is drinking beer for dinner in the Munich airport before he boards the Spainair flight to Barcelona last night.

That is a great photo .... says it all really :rotfl:
Look forward to seeing John's Barcelona photos.

"Compensation" doesn't seem the right word for having to spend an extra night on the Magic .... not exactly a hardship :confused3

Feel sorry for those who have had their cruise cut short though :scared1:

Thank you, everyone!

How scary ..... could have been worse I suppose, he could have found crocs in there :scared1::scared1:

That beer looks good! LOL!:thumbsup2

I am just checking in....and going to head off to bed and try to catch up on some sleep. The boys are asleep by nine tonight, finally!!! I checked out kayak tonight and found some good fares, but since we have time, I am going to shop around a bit and hope for a sale! The more we save on airfare, the more we can spend on the trip itself!:cutie:
Hope you had a good sleep
You're not the only one without a life :sad1::sad1:

Some of us just can't get on DIS at work.:surfweb: To many firewalls in the way.:rolleyes1

Welcome. Seems we have a few families from down under!!:yay:

Marylin, "Katta" is good this am, owner came in to visit and was pleased with her, she is purring this am like mad.

We have no life, just have been cooking and cleaning all day for brunch crowd tomorrow.

How rude of your employer to expect you to work instead of DISsing at work! :surfweb:

Beer for dinner. Grand idea!

Hope your brunch is going well.

Sorry Lynne had a pizza night with the folks so didn't pop over here.

And sorry about the Rugby defeat! I still can't believe we won!
MMMMMMM pizza.
Hey they weren't that bad! We only won in the last 10 minutes! Up until then Scotland were the better side!

BUT thtas why we are rubbish, we had done all the hard work, gordon bennett, we couldnt even just kick it out for a draw. ONLY scotland would manage to get beat with 7 mins to go, at least we expect to get beat, anything else is a bonus for us, but that too the biscuit yesterday! I was watching it on i player in the lab when I was in the middle of doing bloods, when we got the drop kick, I made a half controled muffled scream, someone asked the vet if a dog had fallen from the table,:eek:oops. No its just the rugby, scotland must be winning the vet replied:lmao:

YIP< I should have known better than to get excited:rolleyes:

You hear about the times they can't get into CC, but this is the first time I can recall them not being able to make it out. If I had my choice I it would be for not getting out. :)

We will probably just be having a relaxing day at home. Most likely watching a movie, POTC comes to mind for some reason.
