There is a saying over here - builder's bum. Not sure you have a similar term, but it means when builders(or plumbers etc) bend down and show a tad more than we would like behind!!!

I have heard the same thing referred to as a "plumber's crack" in the USA. :rotfl:

Sue, maybe we should have a laundry meet, sounds like we're going to need it! Could be quite the social place to meet!

That's how I got hooked on the Dis! WinoTracy was the "troublemaker":lmao:

And Sarah... The 12 metre regatta is a BLAST!!! You can work hard or take it easy.. it's all up to you. I like the work hard jobs... it's a workout!

Ann:thumbsup2

Hey everyone! OK, so I'm really getting down to the business of finishing up my draft of the list of folks who have asked for lanyards so far. Right now we are at 220 people who have asked for lanyards so far!! Before I get to the business of posting the full list for review/proofreading/etc.
Thanks Erik and Jason for doing this for all of us :thumbsup2

Well, we had already decided on tuxedos for the boys...
I'm seriously considering this for myself and my DS, especially after seeing the diner schedule.

Am I right in thinking smart jeans and a shirt wont work on semi formal night?
It's semi formal, so as long as your not wearing shorts or jeans with holes, who cares:confused3

:rotfl2::lmao: yep, that's what they call it here...

I would love to do laundry with people I know... Last time I was in there I got to the back of the room and people wouldn't move to let me out - even when I was done. I kept saying excuse me - and they were too busy chatting to listen or heaven forbid just MOVE!

Not tomention that if you have a buddies in the laundry room - you can tag team and not have to spen d the whole time in there...

Where are the laundry rooms, BTW? I know there is one on 6 - is there one on 7 or 8?

Justin Guarini !!!!

Maybe we'll get William Hung :rotfl:

Although if we have to have reality TV stars i don't mind if they book Leona Lewis.

My Dennis is way more comfortable in a pair of khakis than in jeans. Which is odd for a Montana raised boy. :confused3 He wears slacks most of the time, jeans when he is fishing, yardwork, etc. Jeans are so much heavier to pack also that I'm glad to take the lightweight slacks for him.

Slacks aren't really big over here. You don't see anyone under around 70 in them

Weirdly this VIP of Info is actually in our navigators and they are:

o Deck 2 across from stateroom 2096
o Deck 6 across from stateroom 6588
o Deck 7 across from stateroom 7590

Oh read on one of the blogs there is a character breakfast and they are doing desperate shipmaates again!

I saw this posted from the EBTA folks!

These are the dinner menu, attire and show schedules.

Sat-Let the Magic Begin-casual-Welcome Aboard: Let the Magic Begin!
Sun-Taste of the Caribbean-casual-Ricky Kalmon
Mon-Prince and Princess-formal-Twice Charmed
Tue-rotational menu-casual-Jason Bishop
Wed-rotational menu-casual-Once Upon a Song
Thur-rotational menu-semi formal-Alfred & Seymour
Fri-Villians-semi formal-Villians Tonight!
Sat-Ttransatlantic-formal-The Dream Goes On

Sun-Pirates IN the Caribbean-casual-movie night
Mon-Master Chef-casual-musical performance by Brooke White and Justin Guarini
Tue-Around the World-casual-Cultural show, Los Mulero
Wed-Flavors of the Mediterranean-casual-crew talent show
Thur-Captain's Gala-semi formal-Dreams
Fri-Til We Meet Again-casual-Remember the Magic: A Final Farewell

So 2 formals and 3 semi-formals! Oh my that's a lot of clothes that aren't t-shirts and capris! What will I bring to wear? My brain is tired - does anyone want to take a stab at applying the above schedule to our cruise, given the itinerary differences?

This is a bit weird as DCL confirm in an email to me 2 formal and 1 semi formal.

That is a lot of formal/semi-formal dinners! As far as clothing is concerned, I'm going to take what I can and wear it more than once. Afterall, dinner won't taste any different if I wear the same outfit more than once. :thumbsup2

I take tops and skirts that mix and match.

A couple of questions?

1. Has anyone booked their transportation from the port to the airport yet?

2. Has anyone ever been to Tortola? I was looking at shore excursions last night and am having a difficult time trying to decide what to do. I was hoping for a suggestion.
