I better answer the questions of the week for my DW before I forget. Well, at least one question that is.

She supports her Disney addiction with Photography.

As for favorite part of the ship. I don't know that one.

1) What is your favourite part of the ship(if youve not sailed which part are you looking forward to most?)

2) What do you do for a living/suport disney cruise addiction(if youve not sailed before,it soon will be!)

1. Has to be our verandah - particularly having breakfast on it.

2. I'm a systems management consultant, and DW (Lorraine) is an administrator for a telecoms company.

As DW and I couldn't find an excursion in Madeira that did exactly what we wanted to do, we've ended up booking a tour with a local taxi company (www.danielmadeirataxis.com) It works out cheaper and seems to have the flexibility to alter tour routes to suit personal preferences.

Good morning everyone,:goodvibes

Sarah, Yes I am working on a trip report and I have lots of photos to add to it. I am half way done with it. I hope to have it posted by next Monday. With Thanksgiving this week that will keep me busy for a few days where I can't work on it. I will post the link to it when I am done so anyone who wants to read it can.:thumbsup2

We are still totally up in the air about excursions. Greg hasnt had the time to even look at them, maybe this weekend since he has 4 days off, although he is putting a small addition on to his mom's place and may have to work on it this weekend if the weather permits.
I will check out the link for the Taxi tours, maybe that would be a good option for us too.

Today is 35 and so foggy you can't see 50 feet. Snow all around us in the hills but none here. Thank goodness.

Well time to get busy. I think I will make some cinnamon rolls today. Although as cool as it is, yeast dough may have trouble rising? Maybe I should stick with peanut butter coookies. I will bake something.
It helps cover the smell of wet dog when it rains:lmao:

Catch everyone later,

Kathy

QUOTE]

Actually, I had been thinking of wearing the dress uniform for the formal night. Not sure if I want to take up the room with it. :confused3
Oh, go on, if Len can drag his kilt all the way from scotland I am sure you can manage!
Palo.

Woody
We have only had high tea in Palo and was not impressed in the slightest, I thought the server we had was the only annoying cast member we have ever had, so it put me off a bit, but I am going to try dinner on this cruise.
Is it dinner you enjoy the most?

We spent a week in Madeira a couple of years ago, and some people at the same accommodation highly recommended taking a taxi for a tour. They were taken to all the sites and more and really enjoyed it.

Just started jury service today. First time ever so I have been dreadfully nervous. It was a better experience than I expected but we have a disturbing case.:sad2:

It's one of those things we all get called to do at some point. I didn't get to sit on any trials when I had it and luckily I only had to go in 2 days during the whole 2 weeks.

Well I didn't want to be be chosen and I was the 12th name to be called so I thought I wasn't going to be. This case is expected to last the week.

That's terrible - here's hoping that the case is over quickly and with an agreeable outcome.

Men in kilts ......... this is certainly going to be a cruise to remember !!!

The good thing is it will be warm so a lot more pleasant for the kilt wearers than in their home country !!!!

Kilts may certainly look drafty, but they're deceptively cozy. I used to dance in one - man those things are heavy! Just remember - never ask what a true Scotsman wears under his kilt - or you may be in for a shock! :scared1:
