I just can not believe what just happened. I found out that we do not have a handicapped room!!!!!
My hubby was asking what room we had. I said they never assigned us a room but guaranteed a accessible room level 11. They could not tell us the room number. But it was guaranteed handicapped. I emailed because no where did it say anything on my reservation. I never thought twice when I got the confirmation the said guaranteed 11. We had put a request on the ship when they announced the trip.
We knew we were not guaranteed a handicap room. So we had our fingers crossed. When we did not here back I thought we had not got one.So I called the same day that reservations were allowed.
When I called and talked to an agent and they said yes I was guaranteed a handicapped room. I was yeah!!! I paid the full desposit of $500.00 because you could not boook a handicap room on line.
I know what I heard and I know that I asked more than once.
I got a email back that I did not have an accessible room and that I had been added to the wait list. That we never had one.
I am just in shock.
I spoke to Roy the supervisor and he is going to see what he can do. I know what I was told. I know I was guaranteed a handicapped room. For we never would have put the deposit down. Roy was very nice. I sure hope he can figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.
I am so glad I check. Because we were planning on paying a big chunk this month towards the cruise.
I am just sick and heartbroken about this. So asking for pixie dust. How this could happen I do not know

Thanks for posting this. I start to wish that I had booked that club room after all so that I could have had internet access in the club lounge. We are having a very early flight to Germany on September 12th as my sister is getting married that day. On the 11th I work a half day and then we are going to one of the airport hotels where we will spend the night.

Knowing Disney they wont tell us anything that day they'll announce another day theyll be making the announcement lol
All I want to know is when the Repo cruise will be. If the dates include February 13th I have a vow renewal to plan as February 13th 2011 will be our 13th anniversary.

Im still bummed about only being a Silver member! Palo is going to be a nightmare lol!
I am not that worried about Palo. I do like Palo, but I prefer dinner over brunch. As the next three cruises will be nice long ones, I am hopeful that I still will get at least a dinner reservation. With all the sea days on the Transatlantic, there might even be a chance of a brunch.
What worries me is the advance booking. I figure the Repo cruise will be really difficult to get anyway and if gold and platinum members can book first, there might not be anything left over by the time we can book.
