And me! Mind saying that I've been trying to loose weight since my holiday last October and have put on more than I've lost. Why can't food taste nasty?

I have the same problem - have lost half a stone since June but will struggle to keep it off - ideally want to lost another stone before the cruise. Will be my main challenge for 2010.

Here, too. I had the last two days off and the weather was absolutely rotten. Today I am going back to work and the weather is glorious.

Corinna

That ALWAYS happens to me too! Now I have 5 days off - watch the weather go bad!

Fortunately I don't get seasick, which is kind of surprising considering that car journeys make me sick. However, when we had a really rough day on the Magic last year with 35 foot waves, I kept falling asleep on the tile loungers.

Corinna

OMG - 35 ft waves:scared1::scared1::scared1:

I will be reaching for the meclizine!

I dont get sea sick, but I was hopeles after I got off last cruise, I was worried they would think I was drunk and would not let me on the plane, I just kept bouncing off things!

LOL - sounds a lot like Capt Jack Sparrow!

It's weird cause I was seasick the first cruise I did around the Caribbean and yet fine crossing the Atlantic! I really didn't get that. The loungers in the rainforest bit though work so well if there's rough waters (especially if the ship wreck musics on lol)

Did it get too bust in the sap area on sea days?

Same here, going a run on my push bike!

The same reason as the pope preys, thats just the deal!

Typical !:confused3

LOL When we got off the Eastbound TA in 2007 at Tenerife it was hilarious as everyone was doing the pirate walk as we called it! 5 days of bad sea (well actually it was only around 2 but today of 5 days out there) left us all a little drunk lol

Well done on the 1/2 stone! Dans started back at the gym so he's managed about 7 pounds so far and I'm no where near. Going to start on the Wii Fit again as I don't like going down the gym.

OK just noticed the Magic will dry dock after our cruise. Does this give us an excuse to drink and eat the boat dry?

Congrats on the weight loss! I'm trying to lose weight also before my wedding - well actually just in general. I have my first dress fitting on Saturday so we'll see how I've done so far! LOL!!!

I bought my dress after losing a bit of weight and it looked great! Then I tried it on again but 10 lbs heavier - can you say sausagemcmuffin?

I am going back lighter still, so hope that it looks good again! I will post a wedding pic of us all dressed up (so unlike us!) after the wedding.

I'm trying to stay patient with myself through the dieting process - it's slow going, but whatever - I gotta dig myself out.

You should have tried my high school cafeteria.

Woody

LOl I blame my Dad. His mum was a canteen lady and so he always loved school cafeteria food! Somehow I've inherited the "it tastes fine" gene for everything bar fish! Been nice this week and let Dan have Haddock and Tuna in the house and was almost sick lol.

That is my approach for sea days as well. It sometimes felt like I was living at the Rainforest Room.

Corinna

I love the Rainforest Room!!!:goodvibes

Stephanie and I had a mantra we would say before the cruise.

Deck Chair, Cabana Boy, Fru Fru Drink

Once we were onboard it became,,,,,

Spa time, more Spa time and where is the Drink of the Day?????:lmao::lmao:

I'm so superstitious, I won't post a picture of my dress until after the wedding because I don't want Dave to see it! LOL!!!!

Luckily, since I bought my dress I've lost about 10 pounds or so it should be OK...I hope!

The dieting process isn't easy by any means. Last week I lost over 3 pounds, this week I gained a little over a pound. It's frustrating and it's going slower than I wish it would but I'm going to stick with it. :)

Ok, so I know this is pretty off topic from cruise planning... I just found out that I am going to Tokyo for a week for work in September. I've never been before and I'm excited to get to Japan. Got even more excited when I figured out my hotel is only 10 km from Disney Tokyo! I'm there over a weekend, so I'll have 2 days to play. Would like to spend one exploring the city and one at Disney. I'm trying to figure out if that's do-able at that park... If not, should I go to Disneyland or Disneysea? I didn't see a disboard area for Tokyo. Anyone here ever been or know where a good thread is? Thanks for the help!

Sorry never been there but I know you have to book in advance so good idea to check that you can go to one or both of them. From what I've read elsewhere (travel guides) you need at least a day in each. I think Disneyland is the size of Aneheim and Disney Seas is slightly smaller but I'm not 100% sure. As for threads, I've never seen any on here but they must be somewhere. I may have a little nosey

Looks to be some info here:

Howdy all! Just booked this cruise after briefly booking the EBTA and deciding that you were going to have more fun! It'll be me, DH, DS6 and DD3 on this cruise. Look forward to the fun!
