Just popping in to say :wave2: - all these plans sound great - would love to hear more feedback from the Alaska cruise folks - regarding the time of year and temps... bear activity, etc. Hike? Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your sewer issues but your plans sound great - again I think we will need photos! Good luck with your races!

The sewers are a good thing. Just getting those big excavators in the back yard was the bad thing! Real dirty. Talk about noise!!!
I'll try to post pics soon of the front yard and all the "new trucks" that are working in the neighborhood!:rotfl2:

I just might have to bow out of racing this year... MRI found some problems today :(

Ann :rolleyes1

Hi! :flower3:
Speaking of bears, Dennis and I went out to try to find some huckleberries today. No luck with the berries, but we did see two large bear tracks where the berry bushes were.....picked clean! Silly old bears! Tomorrow we will try another spot. We need some huckleberry pie and jam. ;)

Hi all, we're aboard the Magic right now (7 night western), and we've just signed up for the westbound repo! Weehah, our first TA crossing!

Well, if you run into any bears tomorrow (today?) I say let them have the berries...go buy a pie! :lmao:

.

I can't afford to buy huckleberry pie. :sad2: They are not easy to find, and they are small so it takes alot to make a pie, so they cost about $20! :scared1: We will be off again in a bit and hopefully will have better luck today. :goodvibes
And if we run into any bears we will gladly let them have the berries, we will not tangle with a griz!

Firstly, just go to walmart for a pie, much safer.

:headache: wish I was with you guys! Cant wait to meet you.

I wish Walmart had huckleberry pie! However, no store bought pie is quite as good as the fresh picked, homemade berry kind.

I am looking forward to meeting you also!!

I never knew there was such a thing as a Huckleberry - what does it look like?
Hope you manage to find some without encountering any bears!

When we were visiting in Ca we went up the mountains, there were bears, mountain lions and rattle snakes.

Nothing compares to the midge though:laughing:

We have friends that live in the mountains in Los Angeles County and they have all kinds of interesting wildlife in their garden. The gophers are rather cute, but our friends do not share my love for them :rotfl:
