Well, I guess we can join so how can we join the geezers? If I come in early, what kind of sightseeing are you planning?

How do we link our ressies to yours for dining?

The Geezers will meet at Cove Cafe some evening early in the cruise....planned meet. Then probably every evening after if this is anything like the PC Geezer Group. We had lots of fun! We will get orgainized closer to cruise time and get it put on the web site for planning.

Can I suggest holding off on doing the actual linking of reservations until after excursion booking time. On the May 09 PC cruise mayhem was caused on reservation night by all the linked reservations. We were up hours and hours and some didn't manage to get reservations as the system couldn't cope.

Yes, we should wait. Then we just need to get our ressie numbers to the right person. I can do that for you when it is time.

Angie, looks like I am going to arrive early on Friday. Have you starting looking at hotels? I have no idea where to stay, but I have looked at a private room hostel right near Las Rambla, about $50/night.

I have an ace black and white dress, I love it, I wore it once on last cruise, this dress is way more special than my wedding dress ever was.
My aunty told my mum she is going to ask to borrow it.
I nearly posted a picture to prove how cool it was, only thing Ive ever felt special in.
Should I tell her a little white lie,like some one else has it? she wants to take it on a cruise next week, Am I being pathetic??
Mum was no help whatsoever, help.

I'd just tell her this is the one dress that I love and so won't loan it to anyone. Then I would offer her access to the rest of my closet.
It is not selfish to have one special something that is just yours.

How are you guys? Joe and I are on this cruise also I can't believe it has been almost two years since that New Years Eve cruise.

We would love to be part of the geezers we will be at cruising time Joe 58 and I will be 55 also would love to link dinner ressies (will never forget NYE cruise dinner mates) do you remember that??

How fabulous that you and Joe will be on the same cruise again!! I am sure you will be able to join the geezers!!

John may not come in early either but I am thinking I would like at least a day or two in Barcelona.

I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since the NYE cruise. We had such a fabulous time and loved meeting everyone. Since this time it is just John and I, we didn't even try for the Walt suite again but it was sure fun having being there and having a party.

I have our TA working on flights/hotels. We are still hoping to do a few days in Ireland, 2 days Paris Disney and then on to Barcelona! Once everything gets set in stone, then I'll feel like we are really going

Angie...we ended up booking the July 12 Alaska Cruise...it's my birthday that week and why not celebrate with a cruise!

and I have even worked out that I have 150 working days to go (although some of those I will be taking as annual leave when the rota comes out)

I've cracked the code!

OK this is for Lynne & Gos as I think it was just us three that were effected with the weird writing but anyone else out there who also is getting the weird codes everywhere:

Signature Go into User CP and click Edit Signature from the left hand side and then save (no need to change anything)
Posts Go back to the weird posts and click Edit then just save (again no need to change anything)

This way we will all be able to see what we posted! I've done all mine so fingers crossed that Gos can do his! Lynne (Orlandothebeagle) is away this weekend but I think her post was about the dress and this is now sorted!

Ours was £73 one way per person so I was happy. We paid £80 from our regional airport last time but that route no longer flies. I think Easyjet may have been cheaper but I admit to never flying with them and didn't fancy risking it so went for BA!

I think Lorraine (shes booked on the same flight) quoted the same price. This is from Heathrow and for us it will cost around £50 to get there on the bus so it should be OK

I had this problem - you have to enter it as 2 separate flights: local airport - London and then London - Barcelona. That worked for me - unfortunately the times didn't so we are hanging on for good old Easyjet!

Good morning everyone,

Its cold and foggy here today. This is really strange for me to be home on the weekend. I needed to unwind so its a good thing.
I have been trying to catch up on posts but there are way too many.

So I will just say Hello and hope everyone is well and as excited as I am that we only have 50 weeks to go!!!
January 1st I will get into full planning mode that will help the time fly by a lot faster.
