Nice to meet you!!
My BFF Stephanie and I will be turning 60 on this cruise!!![]()
Two more geezers checking in!
DH & I were originally booked on the 1st Baltic cruise but moved it a few weeks ago to WBTA. We are looking forward to gaining the hours back we lost on the Eastbound cruise in 2007.
We are making progress with planning, London to Barcelona flight booked and Le Meridien for the the 17th. Now waiting for the flights to open up for the trip home.
Looking forward to meeting old and new friends
Ann
Hey, kiddos! I'm still cruisin' with Scott and 6 kids. Katey, 20, will be working the college program as one of the white clothed garbage sweeper uppers.Jan-Aug. SHe is thrilled. They say it is one of the most highly guest interactive, and she won't be stuck inside in a kitchen or hotel, but will be able to move around. Sarah will be in college. : ( ah well.
TA has us booked on this cruise last year. DH thinks it sounds fun. I have ready have used Starwood points to book hotel the Le Méridien Barcelona, but waiting for United to open up flights so we can use miles.
We are still debating about the trip. We are John (65) and Noel (58) and this would be out 5th DCL cruise.
Anybody going that is around our age?
Be quiet!!!!If I remember correctly (and given the age that's debatable), there are alot of us "age challenged" adults on board. Me - 56 on sail date.
They are a joy at that age???I think the demographics are different on a trans atlantic seems to be lots of couples travelling leaving the kids at homeMy hubby will be 49 on the cruise and I will be 46

Our son is 27but is not going on the cruise and yup still lives at home ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I know a few are celebrating there 60th birthdays. So I think this would be a great cruise to go on![]()

Lorraine said some people backed out due to Alaskan cruises. WHO? WHO?
Yep, the white wearing garbage sweepers are some of the most fun people at WDW! I've had many a pleasant chat with them.
HI NOEL!
.

We are booked at Le Meridien for 3 nights prestay!...(most likely, tho we have Casa Camper and 1898 booked too)can't decided!
I can't wait to do the Touristy stuff too! Staring up at the cathedral spires with mouth wide open!
I spoke with my Senior today....he said not to worry....we have plenty of time and Sept is not all that popular for vacations. June, July, and August would be hard!
Le Meridien has a kewl feature on website.....you put your phone number in, and THEY call you!
The others you can just book on the site, and email any questions....Casa Camper called us back and gave us ALOT of info on stuff to do with kids and talked along time about the city!
If you go to the 1st page, there is a link to a website for this cruise....it has alot of information and a list of people going. I am sure it is incomplete and some have bailed...but will give you and idea.
Don't forget....the weather is likelier to be a bit better on the WB...if history repeats.

question
I have an ace black and white dress, I love it, I wore it once on last cruise, this dress is way more special than my wedding dress ever was.
My aunty told my mum she is going to ask to borrow it.
I nearly posted a picture to prove how cool it was, only thing Ive ever felt special in.
Should I tell her a little white lie, like some one else has it? she wants to take it on a cruise next week, Am I being pathetic??
Mum was no help whatsoever, help.
Sorry Lynne was in a meeting. I think you should say to your Aunt that you would rather not lend it and explain why. I'm sure if she was aware how precious it was with you then she wouldn't be upset. If she does get upset then she does but at least this way you don't have to lie. Do you have any other dresses she could borrow instead?
Thanks for replying, none that would fit, I dont even think this one would fit,(ie she will squeeze into it)which is fair enough if its your own! cause I do! I am pretty cheesed off as I am gonna feel crap whatever.
I know its only a dress but its the first and only dress I bought after I lost 8 stone, i just would loose the plot if anything happend to it.
But then again, its only a dress, I dont know.
Maybe I will use half your suggestion, say she can have it but warn her nicely I will be upset if anything happens to it, then I wont feel guilty being cheesed if anything happens to it.
She will be on the phone again shortly, she is away tom.
families, I would never ask to borrow stuff like.
Thansk Sarah

Hi Heather,
Booked 3 nights at Le MERIDIEN
Maybe we can do Dinner ...
Walt
This is a great point about about having that long TransAtlantic flight at the BEGINNING of the trip (if you live in the US, that is----for our sailing mates from across the pond it's different, of course) rather than at the end.
Another advantage of doing the western instead of the eastern is the time difference----headed East you lose an hour each day at sea while you're sailing and so you end up getting up an hour earlier every day (and even though your'e on vacation, you'd be surprised but you actually DO miss those hours!!).....doing it headed West it's like you get 6 hours of extra vacation at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!![]()
Help! Everyone is booking things and I have to wait! Why do I have to live in such a out of the way place! Bring on November and then I can book some flights and everything will seem much more real!

Have I seen a photo of this dress? Strapless and large vertical swirls of black and white. If that's the one, I can understand your feelings.
I'd just tell her you have several trips where you plan to wear this and would be heartbroken if something happened to it. I would NOT tell her you lent it to someone else. As kindly as possible, let her know you wouldn't lend it out at all. Then offer to help her shop for a dress for herself, perhaps.
.
Thanks, very much, you are of course correct, honesty is the best policy,Have I seen a photo of this dress? Strapless and large vertical swirls of black and white. If that's the one, I can understand your feelings.
