Thanks to everyone for their welcomes and input. I will check the first page for sailing information.

One of my big concerns is will John be able to go early to sightsee as his job is always so busy. I may fly in earlier than he does so I am hoping there will be others that want to do some sightseeing.

Maybe I will even learn to speak Spanish!!

I suppose the only downside to cruising from the Med to the Caribbean is that the clothing will be coming off as the weight is going on! By the time we get to wearing swimwear in the Caribbean we will have been cruising (and therefore eating) over a week and the lbs will be creeping on ..... oh what the heck! :rotfl:

Oh what the heck, is right!! :lmao:

Two more geezers checking in!

DH & I were originally booked on the 1st Baltic cruise but moved it a few weeks ago to WBTA. We are looking forward to gaining the hours back we lost on the Eastbound cruise in 2007.

We are making progress with planning, London to Barcelona flight booked and Le Meridien for the the 17th. Now waiting for the flights to open up for the trip home.

Looking forward to meeting old and new friends

Ann

Hi Ann. Looking forward to meeting up!!!

Hey, kiddos! I'm still cruisin' with Scott and 6 kids. Katey, 20, will be working the college program as one of the white clothed garbage sweeper uppers.Jan-Aug. SHe is thrilled. They say it is one of the most highly guest interactive, and she won't be stuck inside in a kitchen or hotel, but will be able to move around. Sarah will be in college. : ( ah well.

Lorraine said some people backed out due to Alaskan cruises. WHO? WHO?

And somebody tell me how to change my picture. I do not look like this at all anymore! My hair is blond, I wear black glasses, and I'm not fat. :cool1:

We are onboard, for now anyway!!!

Woohoo, Geezers!!:dance3::yay::dance3::yay::dance3:

:banana::woohoo:

Who are you guys dining with? Are you going a few days early to sightsee?

We will be linked with Marilyn, hopefully! Marilyn?? And PJ is our roomie so she will be with us also. A few others too. I'm sure you can link up with us too.

No Geezers for us!!

Aw, come on, Noel!! Join us, the Geezers are the most fun group!

Hi Ann! Welcome aboard.

And Noel, I missed answering one question. We are going just a day or two early. Plan is to fly in Wed night arrive Thurs am. I'm sure we will need to rest a bit Thursday.....Geezers you know! :rotfl2: But will have a few hours Thurs and then all day Fri to see what we can see.

Well, I guess we can join so how can we join the geezers? If I come in early, what kind of sightseeing are you planning?

How do we link our ressies to yours for dining?

Can I suggest holding off on doing the actual linking of reservations until after excursion booking time. On the May 09 PC cruise mayhem was caused on reservation night by all the linked reservations.:scared1::scared1: We were up hours and hours and some didn't manage to get reservations as the system couldn't cope.

TA has us booked on this cruise last year. DH thinks it sounds fun. I have ready have used Starwood points to book hotel the Le Méridien Barcelona, but waiting for United to open up flights so we can use miles.

We are still debating about the trip. We are John (65) and Noel (58) and this would be out 5th DCL cruise.

Anybody going that is around our age?

Welcome. We are close. DH is 62, DBIL is 61 and DSis and I at 51 & 52 respectfully.

I have booked our hotel, Le Meridian, and am waiting as well for the airlines to open up the booking date. I just want to get it done. I am such a planner.

I too was wondering who bailed on this cruise. We had considerd it, because we did this cruise last time, but Dsis and Dbil are renewing their vows and I would not miss that for the world. Dh and I did ours last year on Castaway and it was absolutley the most wonderful experience.:lovestruc Better than the first one!

Yep, the white wearing garbage sweepers are some of the most fun people at WDW! I've had many a pleasant chat with them. :thumbsup2

I think that is an excellent suggestion. Just keep me posted on when we should link the ressies.

Thanks for the welcome!! I am a uber planner as my family can attest. Maybe the person who is maintaining the website can do a new head count as we get closer to the date.

Renewing your vows on Castaway sounds wonderful. We are at 25 years next July 4th so maybe we should think about a renewal???

Angie, looks like I am going to arrive early on Friday. Have you starting looking at hotels? I have no idea where to stay, but I have looked at a private room hostel right near Las Rambla, about $50/night.
