Thank you, everyone, for the kind welcome!! We are looking forward to getting to know many of our fellow DISer's!! :goodvibes And thank you for the Fish Extender explanation. We may have to get in on this. It certainly does sound like fun!!

Welcome DisneyTrek and Lauren!!!! :cheer2:

I see you've already added the appropriate logos to your sig so the captain will be very proud! :thumbsup2

Oh yes! This was one of the first things I did. My signature looked so sad without any kind of countdown, so I took care of that issue.

Hi Daniel. Nice to see you two over here! I'm Sarah and I'm travelling with my DBF Dan. Are you a Dan or Daniel?

Dan, Daniel or Danny works for me. Daniel is my middle name and I like it much better than my first name, Harry. My wife calls me Danny most of the time. But when she starts using "Harry Daniel", I know she means business. :rotfl2:

I was going to pm them and ask to have a bit for running the 5k at CC.
I will wait till they return, and by the way

HOW COOL are they t-shirts, when are they printing them, I missed that, it would make a very cool xmas pressy for my parents!

The shirts look great, don't they?!? Looks like we will be ordering in May... :)

There is a reason we all love a Disney cruise..they really do offer great service to people. I was abit worried about deck 5 ..no kids with us- no reason to be too close to " all things kids " and they helped us find a cabin on deck 6. Very nice considering it was gty booking.

Dh and I(no kids with us) always stay on deck 5, it really is quiet. Less rooms means less noise.
Our usual cabin is 5128(has a bacony). I love being that close to BVT.

I called DCL last week, the ship wont be leaving Barcelona till 9pm. 4pm is the life boat drill. So between 4 and 9 is party time and dinner.:woohoo:

But if you are on late seating that will be naff, as I def want to be on deck for sail away.
Just have to miss dinner, but it would be a shame the first night.

BVT?

We lived in England back in the early 90's. I remember the Eastenders but my girlfriend and I were hooked on Home and Away:)

Welcome to all the newcomer!s:yay:

Linda

Linda - As Lynne said its still on and Alf is indeed still in it lol. It's changed to Channel 5 though which I don't think existed back then lol. Neighbours is also on Channel 5 now!

Hey guys, was going to get a 7 night package gift for mums xmas but.................

fyi here is the reply to pay for a 7 night package on a 14 day cruise

Dear Lynne,

Thank you for your email.

I would be happy to assist with your request.

The wine package can only be purchased for the entire length of the
cruise. For example, if a Guest is sailing on a 7-night cruise, then the
only package that can be purchased is the 7-night wine package.

The wine packages for Guests sailing on the 2010 Mediterranean cruises
are not available at this time. Please check back at the end of 2009 or
early 2010 for wine packages for that sailing.

I hope this information has been helpful.

Have a Magical Day!

Thanks for this Lynne. On the last TA's they did the 7 night packages only so maybe they're changing it this time?

Oh right. Saves the issues they had last time with people not showing for boat drill I guess. Bit of a bummer though as I wanted to go see the magic fountains and probably wont get a chance now

Hmm I think I may just give in and ignore sailaway or maybe they schedule the dinners early for that night

My boredom kicked in today at work so I've just been through the list of names on the role call website and through the thread since Brooklyn did what I think was the last website update.

There are 95 Dis Groups on there from the looks of it (although one group - Joanne, Michael & Perry) don't have a dis name?

The ones I think that are missing off the list but have posted over here are:
  • 1DisneyQueen - Not sure of names/no of people
  • 2canadianfans
  • BibbidyBobbidyBoo
  • Candy Apple - Not sure on names
  • crystald - Not sure of names/no of people
  • DisneyTrek
  • DizzneyDAnn - Cant remember Deanna who's travelling with you
  • eeyorelvr10 - Cant remember Laura who's travelling with you
  • FairyGrandmother
  • gofenmom
  • got2travel - Not sure of names/no of people
  • gpb1 & Lorraine
  • Grandma x3
  • KC's Princess
  • LindaBabe (though I think she was debating whether to transfer to PC Wonder in 2011 when announced) - Not sure of names/no of people
  • M4travels
  • MickeyAddict
  • MrsMork & DrHugg
  • Pluto
  • ReAnSt - Cant remember Becky who's travelling with you
  • renegade7
  • Terapin - Not sure of names
  • Tink 113 & Tink113sMom
  • tinker1bell & Steffy
  • wideeyedwonder - Not sure of names/no of people
  • womanredress - Cant remember Sarah who's travelling with you lol (I'm fairly sure your mum and dad are now)
  • yanjan - Cant remember Nick who's travelling with you

If I have missed anyone applogies.

So in total this would make 123!!

Thanks for taking the time..I am sure that list will grow by leaps and bounds !

No problem. I have no work to do at the moment so thought I may as well look busy!

Also going to keep it as an Excel copy of people on the cruise cause its easier for me to view it that way - and I can then play about with how many people etc and how many gifts.

We booked late...had a gty cabin. Last night checked and Disney has assigned us a cabin ..Forward 5th deck. Still alittle nervous..have always had a balcony .Cove Cafe here we come :cool1:

Congratulations on getting your room assignment already.

I just checked and I have not got one, I did however find lots of thigs to spend money on!

No - nothing allocated yet (and still keeping everything crossed for the upgrade fairy!)

We are still GTY as well.

1DisneyQueen is Dee, some of you may know her from her old user name Fairygod mother (computer issue resulted in having to re-register on the DIS) And she did one of the TransAtlantic's last time. Don't know who all is traveling with her this time.

And I know of two more DIS families who are booked and haven't checked in yet, also some of you may know. GreyFal and Hannosmom.

I think some folks have booked, but have the possibility of needing to change or cancel (I know I re-think the finances of the airfare/pre cruise hotel every month), so they don't want to be active on the thread yet. It DOES make it even harder to have to change your plans when you've grown attached to your new DIS cruise family. :grouphug:
