:rotfl: I dont get the eastenders thing, I cant stand it, my dn watches the reruns as wel as the original!

I think we go at 9 or 10pm, but that is only a think, the reason I say this,is because I can mind thinking we will have to rush dinner.
(do a lot of thinking!):rotfl:
Do they have 2 sittings on the longer cruises, I suppose they must, daft q!

Lynne you haven't checked in on the DCL website recently. Seems our time has changes to 4pm!

Oh and they have 2 seatings - 6:00 and 8:30 I think I remember from last time.

I personally watch Eastenders when I'm home as I find the comedic value brilliant! On what other programme could your ex wife shoot you and almost get away with it, or you long lost daughter follow you around for a year without admitting who she is? Brilliant lol.

I think thats better 4pm, I was worried it would be dark, we can have a proper disney getaway, Eastenders, I wish i couls see the funny side, I really dont watch tv, When I am at work I dont watch tv for a whole 7 days, then you get used to it, but in saying that, I found all the old shamless episodes on the love film website, me and the vet have been working our way through them, now they are quality tv.:scared1:

Used to watch Eastenders in the old days, but haven't for years now.

We are Emmerdale fans as it is filmed near here and one of the actors lives next door!! However, there arfe some silly plots sometimes and we do stop watching it occasionally.

Coronation Street also isn't what it was and has some very daft plots nowadays.

Regarding FE's....just remember....it will probably be a HUGE group.

There are lots of DISers on this cruise, many of whom haven't even checked in here yet (Dee, Pat, Linda...where are you?)

.

For our first cruise (the 5 Night Special Cruise on the Magic last year) we had about 500 DISers. So small and light-weight FE gifts were definitely the order of the day.

Hi everyone! My name is Daniel and my wife is Lauren. We just booked the WB TransAtlantic and we cannot be more excited!! :cool1:

We are pretty new to Disboards, so I hope you don't mind if I drop a line with a question or three every once in a while.

My first question: What's the deal with the Fish Extenders? I've seen pictures of them and I've seen them on past cruises, I think they are pretty cool.

:welcome: Daniel and Lauren.

LOL Fair enough. Keep forgetting you can get TV on Love Film. Need to start doing that.

I don't like the change in time as was planning on flying in that day. Now trying to work out flying in the day before without taking any more days off lol

I do actually prefer Emmerdale over Eastenders. Usually end up watching this on weekends as like having it on in the background when doing housework. Corry annoys me

500!

Last TA it was 103 rooms with 83 having Fish Extenders and 69 Dis members. There were 283 people!

Anyone looked at how many we have on this one so far? I can't get the site to work

We booked late...had a gty cabin. Last night checked and Disney has assigned us a cabin ..Forward 5th deck. Still alittle nervous..have always had a balcony .Cove Cafe here we come :cool1:

Which reminds me - what about a Fish Extender competition? On the last cruise there was a judging panel who went around and choose the best ones and they got a prize.

Sarah,

I love this idea! I would like to be a judge (if needed)!! :)

Thanks - our only hitch in the plan is that my soon-to-be-DH started a job this year and only gets 2 weeks vacay - of which we are using 4 days this year for our honeymoon. With the cruise being 2 weeks in length and a planned early arrival in Barcelona, I was hoping to see more of Barcelona. As it is I think we can only leave Wednesday night on a red-eye, so dh will miss 2 weeks + 2 days at work (yep, meaning he'll be asking to be over in his vacay time). I hope his boss likes pixie dust :rotfl2: I'd love to leave a few days sooner, but with the job and our wedding/honeymoon cruise and my champagne taste in staterooms (currently booked at cat 4) I think that our budget will explode if we tried to stay a few extra days. Who am I kidding? It has already gone poof!

Can I say that wedding caterers are just too tightly puckered? And charging 40cents a wine glass to rent? It makes the plastic glasses tempting! Additionally, despite many, many corrections the caterer can't get the church name correct - just my luck they will show up to the wrong place the day of!

My major source of stress relief is the Disboards, and I started selling jewellery through home parties (I saw my bridesmaids' jewellery in their catalogue and figured if I signed up I could get a discount. I did get a discount and a desire for almost their entire catalogue. Someone please tell Visa to stop accepting my charges :rotfl:)

Oh, and my day job is a 50-100 hour a week kinda deal. I'm sitting here drinking a cappucino before I head in. The toddler has been away from school for the summer and cried all day there yesterday. Sigh.

And I started Weight Watchers during the summer. A major source of enjoyment for me has been food. I love it in its every form. It's been hard to seek pleasure elsewhere. And the gym? Love the results and the feeling afterwards, but the during has been... unpleasant.

So for all the reasons above, I come here to relax, avoid, and escape!

WHO IS THE LONG-LOST DAUGHTER?!? TELL ME! :rotfl:

Seriously, have you seen American soaps? They are all about alien babies, secret twins, secret spies, rising from the dead, and death by misadventure. The British soaps practically seem neighbourhood gossip by comparison.

Canadian soaps are all about float plans, plaid jackets, moose, gas stations, and beer. I can't really defend them whatsoever.:sad2:

If I had to choose it would be emerdale, love the countryside.

I was going to pm them and ask to have a bit for running the 5k at CC.
I will wait till they return, and by the way

HOW COOL are they t-shirts, when are they printing them, I missed that, it would make a very cool xmas pressy for my parents!

LOL they haven't come in to the soap yet from what you've seen. It's to do with Peggie Mitchelle's Neices and I think they are yet to arrive (God now I sound very sad).

I've seen a few US soaps but no Canadian ones lol. My sister loves Days of Our Lives
