Your wench outfit sounds great

Well, this makes our pitiful plans seem very small :sad2:. We are doing 4 days at Disneyland in October with niece and her family who have never been there. To share our magic is always exciting for us. :yay: In the winter we may take a month or so in the RV and go to AZ. Next summer we plan to RV across the northern US and fly to Barcelona from "somewhere back east" where flights are cheaper, storing the RV while we are gone then RV back home after the cruise.

If you need a great massage while in Western AZ... let me know, I'll book you with DH!!! Man... what a good plug for Hubby:laughing:

I must have missed the posts about your knee TDG02! Hope you are up and kicking soon!

I'm always up for a good massage! Actually DDIL and DS are both massage therapists, not practicing now, and they live in our house, so......it's nice!:goodvibes

We have loads planned:
The first weekend in September I will go on a Girly Weekend in Birmingham with some people from the UK community board.

The weekend after we are going to Germany for my sister's wedding

At the end of September we are heading to Florida for three nights offsite, 7 nights on the Magic and 9 nights at WDW

After all this I still have about two weeks leave left that I have to take before the end of the year so we might try for a last minute cruise somewhere in Europe if I can get interline rates.

Next April, all going well, we will be on the Eastbound Transatlantic on the Magic

So there is plenty to look forward to.

Corinna

You are like me with re to hols just a bit more out of control, you must work hard cause you certainly play hard, god for you!!

WE just had (this week) our sewer system put in, they had to go thru our backyard. What a mess!:scared1:
So.... our plans before the cruise is to build a cool boat bay for our racing canoe and storage for the yard tools. And add the covered patio on the north side of the pool. It will look awesome!
Doesn't sound exciting... but for me... it's a blue ribbon job!:rotfl2:
And do 2 races: Tempe Town Race(april) and Lake Las Vegas(october).

Ann :rolleyes1

Ann

You will have to post before and after photos.

I agree, It is great taking newbies to disney, esp disney cruises!
When we were in Ca we seen lots and lots of rvs, they are awsome(sorry stealing an american word!) how many miles to the gallon do you get?

YEAH! You know Peg & I will be here waiting for our :grouphug:

I have six weeks till my WDW/Cruise adventure (8 nights at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and 7 days DCL to Tortola). I've got vacation time at Thanksgiving which was going to be a trip to Chicago, but now my sister will come here instead. Also have a few days at Christmas to play with family. Unfortunately I no longer have a reservation on the EBTA as my travel companion had to cancel and I have other financial obligations. (The occasional lottery ticket may be purchased in hopes of reversing that situation). THIS cruise is still on the plans however, as I have more time to save up.

Now I need to come up with some inexpensive adventure for next spring...a drive to Disneyland comes immediately to mind! :thumbsup2

Based on some logistical issues, we just jumped ship. We will be sailing the Eastern Transatlantic in April rather than with all you good people in September. We will get the ship all warmed up for you! Have a great cruise.

Forgot to mention this opened up a Category 9 large porthole room on Deck 2: lots of very high ratings, far enough forward it is not under the nightclubs. The best thing is you now can change your room selection yourself on the new webpage, without having to call!

Glad you are still on the WBTA.

Me too! I told Peg last night they weren't allowed to cancel this one (the UK is calling to her instead) and reminded her how much she regretted cancelling the Panama Cruise. Also, if Jose ends up hating cruising, she can just bunk with Pam and I on this one. :thumbsup2

We get between 7 and 8 MPG. A wise old RVer told us a few years ago not to think in terms of mpg or price of gas, rather think of cost per day. You don't drive an RV like an auto, you might drive 2 or 3 hundred miles and then stop for a week or so, spending nothing on gas, just on a place to park. The days you do drive you might stay at a Walmart, a rest stop or Cracker Barrel and spend nothing on parking. So you need to set a budget of how much you want to spend between the two - driving and parking somewhere. We found that does remove a lot of the stress about gas. We love to stay in State Parks which are low cost, usually 15 - 25 dollars a day, depending on the state. Picacho Peak State Park in AZ was one of our favorites. Tennessee was the best price we found so far- $10 a night. Sorry, probably more info than you wanted.

:sad1: Glad you will still be going on the Eastern.

Big thunder outside! I love summer storms in the mountains. :goodvibes Except for the possibility of lightening starting forest fires, of course! :scared1:

That did kinda scare my cousin in Thousand oaks, just a little:)

We also love storms, we have had the most we have EVER had in memorable history in scotland this summer.

I definitely do both. I currently do three people's jobs and if it was not for the assorted weekend breaks and holidays, I would probably have gone insane by now.

We certainly are blessed! Parking the rig at or near the homes of family and friends really was the highlight of our 5 month trip last winter. There was someone we knew in most of the states we were in. What fun! We hope next summer doing the north US will be just as rewarding. Lots of our DIS friends live up north. :thumbsup2

HIYA
We have just returned from 4 days in Disneyland Paris staying on site at the fantastic Hotel Cheyenne - we had a wonderful time - we went with our DD Taryn and her boyfriend Matt, and our DS Dan, plus our friends and their 3 DSs, and had a great time, although it all went far too quickly - 4 days is not enough time to spend in Disney. The parks were really busy with it being school holidays and in reflection of the recent 40% discount offer in the UK, which was a bit of a pain, but to be expected. The weather was hot and sunny for 3 days, and then the 3rd evening it broke and we had a downpour, followed by a very wet 4th day.

I have written a more detailed "highs" and "lows" report (link in my signature) if anyone is interested in Disneyland Paris, or who is going there before the cruise in 2010. I will also be writing a more comprehensive report with lots of photographs before too long (hopefully)

Now with nothing definite planned before our cruise in 2010, I will have nothing to think about but that! I also have to admit to turning into a blubbering idiot in the middle of Disney Studios when the parade came along to the music "Remember the Magic" which just reminded me of the wonderful Disney Magic and our last cruise. Thank goodness for dark sunglasses! :cool1:

Oh having a read of it now and it sounds good other than the busy side lol
