We we had about 2 inches this evening and a 40 mins drive home took nearly 3 hrs. Madness.

:headache: That would drive me insane (Some think I am almost there as it is)

We still have none. We'll gladly take it though. I actually like to drive in the snow. :car:

In fairness, I haven't read most of the "back" pages from the last 2 weeks....however

We arrived home from our Magic sailing to find a notification from DCL that we will receive $100 per person onboard credit, and listing our reservation number for this cruise. I called TA because the letter made reference to Med and Baltic cruises (not Trans-Atlantic), and we already have a $200 OBC for booking on board. My agent confirmed that DCL goofed, but is going to honor their mistake--they had intended to send the notifications to only med and baltic cruisers, but someone hit the wrong key and included the westbound TA cruise as well, and yes, this OBC is in addition to any others! The TA even commented on how much this goof was going to cost DCL......

Ah well, it helps to make up for the hateful single supplement that I'll probably be paying.

Lucky you...looks like it was a select few that received this letter.

Great for you!!! I'm also sailing as a single on this cruise but never received the letter. So let's see, still have the fuel supplement on my invoice and didn't get the accidental $100 OBC - not batting to well here!!!! :rotfl: Is it because I'm a lowly CAT 11??

Are we running out of ideas for the Monday questions:confused3

How about an easy one. When you aren't at work to pay for Disney related activities, surfing the internet for Disney related sites, thinking about Disney, looking at your food and comparing it to DCL food, what do you do? In, short what do people do for non disney related hobbies?

For me it would be Scuba diving. Bring on the ice, time for some cold water dives.

I'm a cat 11 also...and I'd take a 12 if offered if it would save a few bucks. I shaved $50 off my eastbound by moving from an 11gty to a 12 gty (would have been more if not booked on board.

Nope, we are Cat 11 and our name is in the middle of the alphabet so don't think it was alphabetical either. :confused3

We are retired so no work, all play. :dance3: I do work a few hours a week doing some internet work - maybe 10 hrs week average.
In our spare time, :rotfl2: we love to travel in our RV. We are home in Montana for the winter, but plan on hitting the road again in late spring and heading east and then south down the eastern seaboard winding up in FL in Sept. We don't know when we will head home from there after the cruise, or what direction we will take. We will just do what feels right. Oh, that would be our answer to your question.....we do what feels right!

Gus loves the Magical Arts so we're members of the Magic Castle here in Hollywood and we spend a lot of time there seeing different magic perfomers.
Be sure to ask him to do a card trick for you on the cruise!!!

We also go to the movies as often as possible (few times per month), play video games (my favorite game right now is Beatles Rock Band!!), see lots of theater (all time favorite is Baz Lurhmann's La Boheme and Wicked!), attend concert events at the Hollywood Bowl and we both love to travel!!
Saying we liked to be entertained is probably an understatement. :rotfl:

I won't ask him to do a card trick, I'll just ask him to make the end of cruise bill disappear.

Sure you haven't heard something like that before. :lmao:

For us it is camping, hiking and riding our quads in the summer, in the winter just hang out with our pups and walk them on the beach preferrably after a good storm goes through to beach comb. I also love to put together scrapbooks:thumbsup2

My favorite hobby is photography. It is very calming for me because I mainly photograph nature and buildings. Joi is very involved with Toastmasters. We also spend quite a bit of time at our beach house year round. There is nothing like the solitude of the beach in the winter.

Ok, youve just got the job for for group photo orginizing:thumbsup2

I am a fitness junkie, its kinda an addiction, its good cause I can fit my dogs and horses into it! I run,swim,cycle,pilates,spinning....anything.
I used to be seriously over weight, which is fine, who cares but but my BP was so high at times the machine would not take it, one day I woke up and thought, thats it,Im wasting my life away,so I changed and swapped a lot of habbits of a life time and lost 8 stone, so now I reckon I swapped food for fitness, and I just go with it cause I would hate to be back like that not enjoying life and a stroke waiting to happen.

Maybe it was sent to those who booked on board. We got the letter too, and we booked on board in September.

Good for you, Lynne.

Interesting since my last name starts with a "K". Maybe since I don't seem to be very lucky in getting the OBC's, I'll get a super fantastic upgrade?????:rotfl2:

Interestingly, I've been checking the website for our cruise and earlier in the week the lowest category was a 9. Checking this AM, the lowest is a 7!! Of course, things may open up once PIF is due.
