I will have a look at that one. I must get one booked. Be nice to be at the same one. Is PJ going there too?

HI
Can anyone tell me of any websites which sell cheap flights from the USA. I have checked out "CheapoAir" and the "cheapest" they quote is over $900 for a flight from Orlando to Manchester with Virgin for one person :scared1:

That seems an awful lot to me - but saying that the Virgin website is quoting the same amount in ££££ for one person :scared1::scared1::scared1:

The cheapest flights I can get are with Globespan into Glasgow, but then I would have to get home from Glasgow ..... and thats a long way.

This flight booking is getting a bit :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I may have to invest in one of those - is it one of those spring and hook things like they use for weighing fish!

Hey you can come stay with me post glasgow:thumbsup2

welcome, i am also a new comer to this group.:cool1::thumbsup2
It looks like I will be joining you all on this cruise! I was originally booked on the EBTA, but it turns out that the trip coincides with the school breaks in my area. School breaks are a busy time for me (I'm a pet sitter) so I decided to jump over to the WBTA. I'll be sailing with my dad (Mark). I look forward to meeting everyone, and will try to sift through the whole thread in the next few days.

We have a balanzza and we love it! We used it for the first time on our cruise last December and it worked perfectly. One of our bags weighed 49.4 pounds with it, and weighed exactly the same on the airport luggage scale. The guy was amazed and said we had to have used a scale or something. It definitely came in handy. You just have to remember to pack it in a smaller bag, since it weighs a little bit itself with the batteries and all.

Has worked great on every family trip since then where we have to fly and meet weight requirements.

Stourport-on-Severn, outside of Birmingham. We met our friends on our maiden DCL in 2008 and have become good friends. They spent a week with us this Sept. so it's our turn there. Then off to the cruise.

No, PJ is not. It appears that the singles in this hotel do not have windows :confused3and she did not want that. If you decide to book there mention our reservation. They have a note on ours due to the inquiry I sent them about the bad youtube report.

They are amazing! the amount of time I previously stood in line to check in, wetting myself if we were going to be over and have to pay a fortune!

No windows???

I am so pleased with our balcony over looking the marina, no windows, :sad2: dont think I would like that, ok on the magic but not a hotel

I haven't read through the thread yet, so I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but I just discovered that every category 11-6 is in GTY status. Is the ship really that full, or are they just giving lots of play to inventory?

At one point this sailing was almost sold out. Then after the 2011 bookings opened some availability in the lower cabins opened up. I know we booked a Cat 8 GTY at the end of August. I don't know if once they start selling GTY in a category if they ever go back to selling actual rooms. If not, that could be some of what's driving the rooms at the moment.

Help - I am getting mind - boggled looking at hotels in Barcelona. I am looking at this one which is right on the promenade and looks really nice:

http://www.marinaviewbcn.com

and also this one:

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_...Hotel_Praktik_Rambla-Barcelona_Catalonia.html

but I am so rubbish at decision making : (

Sarah both look nice. I was rubbish looking at hotels too which is why we had 2 booked at one point!

I may have to invest in one of those - is it one of those spring and hook things like they use for weighing fish!

Mine is exactly like that!

I know what you mean! Virgin website at the moment is freaking me out as even though according to them flights for the 3rd October 2010 went on sale days ago they aren't showing up at all! Really starting to worry! We need the 8th October but those flights wont show up until tomorrow if they are going to anyway! Also there is an issue that until the 5th October the Virgin site is just showing 1 plane from Gatwick to London a day! No explination why!

Cool. I think we drove past there on the way to Alton Towers

I think they are quite full at the moment but this doesn't mean they will be. Cat 11's sold out straight away but have been popping up every now and then on the website (been keeping an eye just out of interest). Also youll find the boat is probably got a lot of couples and singles so the boat may be full room wise but probably not guest wise, or at least this is what we found on the last 2 TA's

WE just booked the transatlantic, it will be myself, my husband, and both fathers. Looking forward to getting to know everyone before we leave. Is there a certain post available, to get info regarding activities and lanyards. Cindy:banana:

Welcome aboard! I don't recall meeting you, but I certainly remember your name. We were onboard the 4/26/09 Tortola trip together. I look forward to meeting you again.

Welcome onboard! Lots of dicussion right now on flights and hotels. Do you have yours booked?

I love your name...certainly fits your profession.

We are still booked through Disney. We can't get verification from DH's employer until next week at the earliest that DH can get all the time off that we want. I did find flights to Dublin (3 nights) then on to Barcelona (3 nights). It looks like for us to go to Dublin first and then on to Barcelona will cost $3016 for the 4 of us to fly. Hotel in Dublin $390, an apartment in Barcelona $519...so about $3925 in all. We would book Southwest flights back from MCO when they come out and hopeully get the I wanna have fun $105 p/p fare.

Flights/transfers and hotel (2 nights Le Meridian) through Disney is $4500, so we can squeak out an extra Country and 4 nights of travel for that price.

Hopefully, the pricing will hold until I can get it booked. I also need to check Aer Lingus and United for their International luggage allowances. Thankfully daughter is a little bit of a thing...I can always pack a weeks worth of clothing in her backpack:rotfl:

Heather, I'm sure you are having a fantastic time already! Very jealous here especially as its freezing cold and Im stuck in work.

Thank you...we're home now and I can honestly say we had such a fab time. Meeting old and new DIS friends on the Magic for 7 days. Can't wait for next September to cruise again.

Has anyone seen the photos of the Disney Dream on the main cruise board - doesn't she look stunning! The public areas look amazing. I hope she has a good itinerary as I will be looking for a cruise in October of 2011 to celebrate DH's 50th birthday.

We saw the announcement on the Magic. Love the look of the water slide and also the virtual port holes in the inside staterooms.
