Happy Halloween to all that celebrate.
I don't write too often, but I do read the posts when I can.
Lots of newcomers.
to all! This is the next cruise we have booked and we have an Alaskan trip booked 7/12/11...so far that is it for us. Might try to sneak a Dreams in, but I don't see how. Kids are missing 2 + weeks for this trip and I can't in good conscience take them out for another week to do a Bahama's cruise during the same school year. May have to plan something without the kids in tow!
We did 4 days in DL last week...attended Mickey's not so Scary Halloween Party...my first time and that was fun. A fun time for all really and it wasn't that crowded for the party. DL was pretty crowded on Fri & Sat. The fireworks at DL were so awesome...we saw them a couple of times (even the youtube videos produces chills) and Fantasmic was awesome also. The crowds were shoulder to shoulder for both of these shows, but worth it. We chose our seats for the fireworks by 5:30 and I am not usually one to do that, but we didn't have the best viewing the 1st time we saw them and I wanted a very good view the 2nd time!
Still have not decided whether we are going to keep our hotel and air through Disney or change them to spend a few more days overseas or not. Decision time will need to happen in the next few weeks to get the best rates.
Been thinking about our FE gifts...what to do...what to do?
I'm not working like I use to. My business is down a good 90% or more. I had to lay off my employee and construction is not going to pick up anytime soon here in CA. The economy has finally caught up to me. DH wants me to close the business and stay at home...I'm not one to be idle and I have a lot of scrapbooking to do....My insurance renewal is in about 12 days...I probably will not renew and that will be the end. Don't know if I'm happy or sad about that. My mood on it changes hourly on it. Thankfully, DH is employed so we are not as pinched as some and I always have my fingers in a few pots to keep me going.
I'll try to post more and get to know many more of you in the next 11 months.
Linda
