Are you two SURE you don't want to sail this September with us to Tortola???

Can I just say ... "I LOVE THESE TWO beautiful people!"

It's not that we don't WANT to go to Tortola in Sept.....$$$$ Remember, we are now retired. :)

And we love you too!!

Congrats to all those losing weight. I am finding all those lost pounds. I have gained 10 pounds in 2 months!

Well, I'm not going to wish for a stessful year,:scared: but snacking on veggies sounds like it would help take some weight off. I have been working with the Wii Fit (and watching what I eat) and have lost 10 lbs since mid March. :yay: Not alot, but I have stopped the gaining that I have been doing over the last 7 years and am headed in the right direction. :thumbsup2

Mrs. Mork, 10lbs is great!

I might already have the stress but haven't lost my desire to eat till I bulge. I lost 18/20 lbs before we went on our cruise in December using Wii fit and dance dance revolution. Welll, I've gained it all back and would like to lose it again. Oh to be skinny again and still be able to eat chocolate.:cloud9:

Just off the May 16th Western Cruise and my my hubby & I, with my parents booked this cruise!!! Very excited. Loads of questions...
Here goes..

1) Any idea who is offering the best OBC? We are going to transfer to a TA at some point. I'm a bit upset that on the ship they were offering 20% off & $400 OBC BUT this cruise was not included in the med special offer. :headache: We got 10% off & $200 OBC per room. I'm not super happy about this since I know you can book a B2B with $200 per week, equally $400 OBC for the 14 days! I feel like Disney should at least offer that!!!

2) Anyone know from previous cruises about the weather? I have heard that the WB had good seas but the EB did not. Luck of the draw. I'm a bit concerned that I may be sick for 5 days in a row

Those are my 2 biggest questions now... more to come later.

Welcome! The extra % off and additional OBC are offered on cruises they are trying to fill. We always go with DU, they give good OBC, take good care of their customers and sponsor this board, for which I am very greatful. :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Which reminds me Angie, which Agent at DU do you like. I haven't done my duty in doing the switch over yet,:headache::sad2::guilty:

Okay, you all have me determined to diet. I have a goal and Deanna - I am sooo proud of you. You will REALLY be dancing in Rockin Bar D next year! Cannot wait to see you!

I just read about all the weight loss and so impressed. Okay, now I am more determined then ever. Deanna, cannot wait to see you dancing in Rockin Bar D!!!

Hey Tink - welcome aboard! We took the EB TA in '07 and loved it even with the bad weather. Don't worry about being sick, I heard ginger pills work wonders. Make sure you bring those (right Hadley! :)) The weather should be gorgeous, but I am still bringing jeans! Besides that, I don't know anything about onboard credit, but the EB TA was unforgettable and I am sure this cruise will be the same. WELCOME! By the way, Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hope you have some good picnics planned. We are still enjoying the rain in Florida.

I am so impressed about everyone's diet - okay, now I am REALLY determined. Deanna, I cannot wait to see you dancing away the night in Rockin Bar D! I am so impressed and will try carrots over Peanut M & M's. Stress always goes away easier with chocolate!

I have the info to switch and an email from Sue Ellen. I just have been procrastinating on making the switch. I will get it done. :)

I know, I figure if I keep putting this out into the universe, maybe you'll win the lottery or something! I'm just going to keep on hoping and hoping...:wizard:

Okay, okay!! :lmao::rotfl2: I've been busy fishing and stuff.:rolleyes1

I did buy some powerball tickets Wed. Maybe I should check them.

I'll keep my fingers crossed! Did you hear about my $150.00 scratcher win? Yep, the new 100 million dollar scratcher...my first two cards ever... first 100 then the second was 50 winner! It paid for my "change" fee for my USAIR tickets from hawaii to NC. That was long story... another day perhaps.

Thanks for all the weight loss congrats!

I kinda had a stressful year and lost my appetite. When I got it back, I started snacking on veggies. I do eat chocolate everyday, so I am not deprived. I don't feel like I've been dieting. I like the new way of eating.

Congratulations!!!! I too have taken off some weight - 20 lbs so far and want to hit at least 50 by 9/12!!!! Thanks for the motivation for today!:surfweb::woohoo::yay:

Wonderful, all of you! :yay: Me, I've gained 20 pounds (at least) since delivering the girls, so I can't blame any weight on them. :sad2: I do a very intense workout 2-3 times per week, and continue to gain. Perhaps it's the diet of sweets I choose? :confused3;)

Please give me some of your motivation!

I CAN NOT wait for Rockin Bar D!!!!! It's my favorite place to dance!!!!!!!!

Can't remember who said it, but don't worry about the weather. The bad weather made the EB 2007 so much fun!!! We did the WB, too, and it was lake like seas... a little boring sea-wise, actually. Can't wait to see what the 2010 cruise weather brings!!!!!!!

I am Tink113s Mom, thus the name... Our family of 10 just got back from the detoured Western Caribbean Magic cruise Saturday and our last stop at Castaway Cay. Outstanding! On our first trip on the Magic in 2001, the seas were too rough to dock at CC so we missed out. Boy it was glorious... :beach: My little grandsons had a ball on their first trip to a real beach. DGS (8) looked back over his shoulder as they drove away from the ship at PC (so I am told) and said with a wistful tone in his voice, "a lot of memories on that ship". He and DGS (6) just blow my mind with what they come up with sometimes! They will have a great time telling everyone about what they did and saw. I would love to be a fly on the wall!

I am soooo looking forward to this excellent cruise! I cannot imagine being able to be on the ship for 2 weeks! :cloud9: I am half tempted to just leave my bags packed for the next one! I guess that would be just a bit too ridiculous... We are still trying to get used to being back in the land of reality again~ :sad1:

Back here after our "practice cruise" on the May 16 Western Caribbean. What a beautiful ship, amazing crew, astounding customer service, great food. We even saw a small whale one day from our balcony! We, too, are now very excited about the transatlantic.

Do any of the returning Western Cruisers have copies of your navigators?

Were the dining times staggered or did they got to just one time for each seating?

Were they doing the "Dine and Play" program at late seating?

THANKS!!!
