When I think about the WBTA, it always brings about a smile. What a terrific cruise!

Fast forward. Today we went to Disneyland. We used our vouchers for free admission (for volunteering a day at Habitat for Humanity).

Today's highlight was the Haunted Mansion Holiday, decorated in the style of the Nightmare Before Christmas.

We had such a good time that we got annual passes.

Hi Woody. Great to see you. Yes, it was the best cruise. Some of us are hoping to repeat it next year, but unfortunately most of the gang won't be there of course.(We are going to have a ball anyway)

We will do our vow renewal during our Mexican Riviera cruise on the Wonder from October 2nd to 9th 2011.

Have to share what just happened to me... It makes the WBTA even more special... Relax - it is nothing bad at all - infact quite the oppposite!

One of the very last nights of the cruise I was taking Becca, Bell and Lucy up to the club and Warick, Dave, Chip and Dale were out in the Atrium. Pablo was taking pictures and Claire was there as well. The whole gang! Well, we got pictures with Chip and dale, even did a pyramid with them and the girls. Then Becca asked Warwick to do a herky (Cheer leading jump). Dave started to tease him, and pretty soon everyone was jumping.

Well, one thing led to another and somehow everyone was talked into doing a toe touch jump for the camera. The shot looked great on the camera - so I ordered a huge one (largest they would print) and Dave, Warwick chip and dale were all to sign it. There was some hold up on getting the print and everyone got busy - so I got the print with no signatures.

Well, about 2 weeks ago I thought I would reach out to Autumn (concierge - aka my Fairy Godmother) and ask her if there was any way to get it signed. She asked for the photo number, I sent it and the JPG file. Well, I didn't hear back, and I know that Warwick was getting off the ship and moving to Animal Kingdom, so I gave up. Not a big deal - I would get it matted and framed as it was and if we were heading to WDW in the spring I figured I could take it, put it in a tube and see if Warwick was working, and then find Chip and Dale. 3 of the 4... Not too bad...

Well, fast forward to about 20 minutes ago. Autumn just wrote to tell me that she was leaving shore side concierge on the 12th to go do on board sales for the Dream. oh, and by the way, Lynda was able to get a copy of the photo printed and signed by everyone in it! Lynda is leaving it in the port office on Saturday to be shipped on Monday.

Brings tears to my eyes I tell you! I am beside myself with the extra mile these folks have gone, and wish I could reach out and hug them all again!!

So, all of this makes my next cruise hard as it is not on DCL. However, it looks like there is a group of us on the Fantasy Maiden, so maybe we will have to move our dates up... Need to check with Glenn to see if we can swing it...

What a lovely story. I did not know that Warwick was heading for the parks. Unfortunately it will be a couple of years before we do WDW again.

We had reservations but because of a big shake up at work, we had to cancel the trip. But there is always next year.

We did not get anything. Just being nosy, what issue did you have with the gym? We spent a fair bit of time there and Graham in particular basically lived there.

Well, it took me 10 years to convince Graham to take me on a cruise so I have to make up for lost time. Fortunately he is just as addicted to cruising than I am.
