Was googling for a post about wine shops in Barcelona and came across this site:

under "Forum: Disney Cruise Meets," our thread seems to be pretty prolific. See anyone you know? :lmao:

Never heard of this site before. I am happy to say I am not on this list. But if they had one for longest posts, I might qualify.

:rotfl2: That is just like all my school reports......too chatty & needs to concentrate more! ;)

We're non drinkers too, although I know dad is glad to get to take on some beer and wine. I know he's looking forward to trying some different beers as they don't travel much.

We'll too, be doing a snack run at Morrisons. :cheer2:

We will doing a snack run too. My DH can not live without chocolate! So it will be wine for me, chocolate for him.

 I do like to chat :rolleyes1

We are non drinkers at home. Whilst on vacation though we do like to have a drink or two :)
We are celebrating our actual anniversary whilst onboard  and am looking forward to sharing some champers with the ladies attending the champagne meet.
:dance3:

I'll be looking for Walkers cheese and onion crisps; maybe even enough to bring some home to my nieces. :lmao:

Me, too - need to make sure "something pink" is on my packing list. I'll take that free Bellini or champagne at the Gold/Platinum Castaway Club reception, too (although I miss the big all-Castaway party with cokes, water, and rice crispy Mickey Mouse treats).

We currently have packs of Walkers Cheese'n'Onion crisps..how long they'll last though is anybodies guess.

I have to remember the boa and tiara. I have been known to like the odd Bellini, does it taste better when it's free though;)

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

I will have - the raspberry champage thing they give you at Palo for brunch, and a Konk Kooler at Castaway Cay. That is likely the sum total of my year's alcohol consumption, lol. I'd rather EAT my calories.

Hope we get more scrapbookers to join the swap! I finished 12 sets of pirate page embellishments yesterday, probably enough stuff for a two page spread out of each set.

Happy Day, all!

LindaBabe....I too love scrapbooking! Unfortunately, I am very, very behind on it! Look forward to getting together and making some pages with some Dis ladies!!!!

Squitty.......I'm also looking forward to getting together with the ladies for the champagne get-together, but what are "champers?" If it's something to eat....I'M IN! :)

Hope everyone had a beautimous Sunday!!!!

Champers is just slang for Champagne!!! Used all the time here! Looks like you are in for that anyway!!

Champers is just a shortened word for Champagne Deb. No food involved, sorry.

Gotcha! :cool1: I've got to look for my tiara.....GA-yaya said she may have a boa I could use. Sounds like fun and the picture I saw of last years Pink Champagne ladies looked like fun! :thumbsup2

Mmmm Walkers Cheese & Onion are lovely, i've got some in the cupboard right now! Wish I could send you some through the internet. :)

I love Bellini's and Kir Royals too. ;)

I've got my Tiara & Boa, I ordered them off ebay a while ago. :cool1: I can't wait for the Champagne meet, it will be so much fun.

:worship: Well done Linda! I haven't even got around to thinking about it yet. I have made the smallest of starts on my Fish extender gifts though. :thumbsup2

Hi Deb. The Scrapbook exchange i'm organising isn't a get together to make pages, it's just a swap of papers/embellishments etc to use in your WBTA cruise scrapbook when you get home - kind of like the Fish Extender exchange of gifts. I hope that's ok with you? :flower3:

That's a drink I have not got round to trying yet Claire...Kir Royal. I will have to try a glass with the goodies that I'm going to buy from the Karamell shop:cloud9:

You are so organised, I will have to get my butt into gear!

On the subject of food at the Champagne meet, do you think we should have some nibbles to go with the drink?

I have a question about bringing wine/liquor onboard.

My husband just asked about bringing a case of wine onboard :thumbsup2 - Can we bring it on in its case? Or do we need to pack it in something else?:confused::confused:
Anyone have any thoughts regarding this????

I'm with you, I'd rather eat my calories. I used to do way more scrapbooking, but over here I can't get scrapbooking supplies, so now I only do photobooks instead.

Are Walkers Cheese & Onion crisps what we would call potato chips?
Mom is bringing the boas and I'm picking up the tiaras. I still need to do that yet, so I better get on it. Summer comes along and is quite hot and I just feel like holing up in my airconditioned living room. :rotfl:

Sounds good, too.

I can't really answer that, only that the official info states it must be in your hand baggage. That is not to say others haven't done though.

Hey Debra!
Just let me know what color you like...I've got boas!!! :cheer2: No real New Orleans girl would be caught without them in her costume stash! :rotfl:
Loving all this planning. :goodvibes

Gosh, we are so chatty that we even come up on a google search :rotfl2: this is going to be a fantastic cruise, we are such a fun, sociable bunch :thumbsup2

It's Walkers smoky bacon we can't stop buying at the minute :)

Deb, me too, it should be fun :cool1: It's freezing, snowy and sleat today here :guilty:

Claire, did you order a proper tiara or one of the plastic fun ones? I was looking at a real one on ebay which was really cheap :)

Good idea Michelle, we should all take along a little selection from Morrisons, don't want to drink on an empty stomach (mind you that isn't usually a problem on DCL lol). If the champagne ladies isn't long after Gibraltar, we could get some strawberries.

If any of the shops on the High Street in Gibraltar sell blackcurrant cassis, we can make our own Kir Royales :thumbsup2

DCL say that any alcohol has to be taken onboard in your hand luggage. Mind you, on port days we all walk in with it in carrier bags. My view would be that, as long as it's not in your main suitcase being checked in, you should be okay. I think carrying a case on board would be fine

The only problem is they're no good for the figure ;) The ones I don't buy as they don't last five minutes are the Marmite onespopcorn::

That's what I was thinking Mary:)
Strawberries and champagne. I wonder if we can maybe order Strawberries on the ship? or better still some of those lovely chocolate ones:thumbsup2

Oh haven't tried those ones :) Smokey bacon only last 5 minutes in my cupboard.

On last year's WBTA it was peanuts we were craving when having a little tipple, very fattening, but scrummy.

If we have the Champagne Ladies midway through the cruise, I am sure we could get some strawberries from Goofy's. Mentally trying to picture in my head that they do have them with the rest of the fruit available there? :)

I don't know if you can remember but we used to be able to get Bovril crisps...Marmite ones are the closest that we have tasted since..:thumbsup2

You will have to buy some peanuts from Morrisons to save your craving:)
