Hey Debra,
We signed up for the Main Dining (the 6 or 6:30 one - the early one). Is that what you have?
Hope you have a happy, happy weekend!

Yep that's what we have too! Isn't that awesome news from granmaz!!!!:cool1: Rick is rejuvenated again! :lmao:

How was your birthday celebration dinner last night? Hope your daughter had a great day yesterday!

Hope you all have a great week-end too!!!

I can't take the credit, I am just the bringer of good news.:thumbsup2 There is a fellow cruiser on the cruise meet thread on another board who is in Gibraltar today, and popped along to Morrisons and asked the question there.

I am just thrilled that the store will be open. Probably because they are connected to Safeway in American who virtually never closes their doors.

Marilyn you are wonderful, great news !!! Claire's empty suitcases will be coming out again :rotfl2:
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

It's not that they aren't having it, it's just that, according to the park hours for Sept, it may only be on Tuesdays and Fridays. The two nights closest to our cruise dates will be 9/23 (the Friday before we arrive) & 9/27 (the Tuesday after). According to allears, they had it on the Friday & Saturday (9/24 & 9/25) last year, so they may yet add Saturday.

That's what I'm hoping for as well -- the same dates as last year (as far as days of week go).

So glad to hear about morrison is open...:cool1::yay::woohoo:

Ditto!!! :)

Lurkers might get the impression that this cruise is going to be one big boozey party party: but truly there ARE a few non-drinkers among us:lmao:

I found them here Marilyn, not where I got them from last year but cheaper!

I got the photo for them from that site :goodvibes

I love those shoes! Where did you find them?
I ordered from onlineshoes; csnstores has them for less. Both have free shipping; onlineshoes also has free returns for a year (didn't check at csnstores - probably should have to save $10+). And I had bought a bed from csnstores, so I know they're both legit.

Also, use any of the words Birki's Maria Disney Mickey Minnie to internet search for them. They are also available in Europe.

The Birki's are the narrower form of Birkenstocks - about a medium width for American shoes - not the wider width like Crocs are.

They also have them in children's sizes. There's a green shoe with pooh and eeyore and a flower/Tink design. Angry Mickey, too.

1 more non drinker here !!!

But that doesn't stop me from having a good time LOL

Still I popped to Morrisons for snacks, I couldnt manage a whole 2 weeks without crisps, also got some presents for folks whose birthday it was during the trip,it's also a good opportunity to get any of those bulky toiletries you
don't wanna lug over and waste precious luggage space on.

Last year, I hobbled off the boat (on crutches), unsure of what we were going to do in Gibraltar. My plans for bowling were shot. Just so happened that ibouncetoo and mishoe were negotiating for a private taxi tour at the time and we were able to join them.

We had a great tour guide in Paul del Mar, a Gibraltar native, former policeman and British soldier. The taxi was a mini van, comfortable for about 6 of us ladies. We made various stops, including one where we saw the young monkeys and an Auburn University monkey (oh, I mean the comedian from the ship, Heath Hyche) with one of the performing CMs, Julia.

Paul gave us the option to return to the ship or be dropped off in town. We walked through town, went into M&S, bought some Walker's cheddar & onion chips from a small shop and then caught a taxi back to the boat (1.5 GBP/pp). You walk over to one of the van taxis and they wait until it's full to head to the port (not a big wait).

Monkey getting treats from Paul's pocket

Definitely Will, although i will be buying a few bottles of bubbly for lovely evenings on deck 10, those essential snacks and toiletries just don't fit into 23 kg :thumbsup2

Yes there will be some non drinkers, ocaasionally me included, however if last year was anything to go by, this was one great adult cruise. Each to there own, after all we have all worked for our vacations and we all intend to enjoy them within the normal DCL bounds.

Happily signed up to the wine package.

PS: I have never seen anybody drunk on DCL, well apart from the man who did not hear the "warning annoucement" of the ships horn mid -atlantic. When it happened to us, the man 3 beds down the line, his body jumped off the lounger and the he guy nearly wet himself, his shock was evident to all around the adult pool.

Those around him, including his family, could not stop laughing for over 10 mins. He levitated over his sun lounger.

Walked around Disneyland today looking at the construction in Tomorrowland. No more Buzz fast passes as they will convert to Star Tours when it opens. :thumbsup2. Lots and lots of construction over in DCA. The Ariel ride is looking good and due to open in the summer. :cool1::cool1:

Lynne---love the shoes and I'm thinking I could use a cute pair. :thumbsup2

Wouldn't have minded a few games of Toy Story, an elevator ride to the top, and a quick soar over California. :goodvibes

Was googling for a post about wine shops in Barcelona and came across this site:

That's my hubby! He doesn't drink a drop, but I enjoy my wine (although limited since still breastfeeding). A second bag on American for international is $50... so we are looking at purchasing toiletries overseas since we'll be lugging several diapers along ;)

LOL! Oh my. I did post a lot this week with Tortola, Pajama party, and my aunt... but didn't think it was forty! Eeek!
ETA: Looked at my post count just to see... from March 5-12 (eight days since it includes the 5th and 12th) I had a total of 37. So seven days may be less. I wonder if it counts them when being quoted? That's the math person in me coming out LOL!

We're non drinkers too, although I know dad is glad to get to take on some beer and wine. I know he's looking forward to trying some different beers as they don't travel much.

We'll too, be doing a snack run at Morrisons. :cheer2:
