I know! The cruise will just seem more real to me when we actually have a room onboard.
I think you are right there. We were GTY for one cruise and it did make a difference. Plus it was a very exciting few days when the rooms were allocated.

What did you think of the movie Karen? I've read all of the books so I know what happens, but I haven't seen the movie yet - I'm hoping to see it this weekend.
Besides those two "baddies" on Sonoran to avoid, also avoid - the gas station between Hotel Blvd and I-4, across from Crossroads. I think it might be a Sunoco - OUTrageous.
If you just go a little further on Vineland, past the entrance, under the underpass and past the exit, there's a station near the Walgreens at a convenient light that is also reasonable.
. Bluewater seems the best option to meet and they have lots of different bars etc- and a Disney store!![]()
I have purchased a transfer thru DCL on the 10th. Do you think I could cancel theirs and book with you to take your 2 last spots from airport to pier? What time is the bus leaving?![]()
Yes I'm obsessed. I check for my room assignment at least 5 times daily!
I just like thinking about my location....it makes me happy!![]()
On white noise, my DH and us are addicted--and I know the irony of this--to the ocean sound on our sound soother/alarm clock we have. It is a travel size and we bring it with us everywhere. We must sleep to the ocean and it serves as a good alarm. Even though we are on the ocean, we need it!
Well do to various trips including to DLRP... We are only free on Sat 13 Aug.
Supposedly they are now required to post their prices outside of those gas stations so you know what you are getting yourself into.
Sounds great. I have been to the 3 unesco world heritage sites over 20 years ago. I'm currious how it is now. Stonehedge was then very touristic already but Kew Gardens and Bath I found lovely.
I hope we can talk about it at the cruise.
...I much prefer to walk in London .. the underground is so crowded and grubby and somtimes it takes longer to get down there, wait for a train, board a train, travel, and get out tagin than to walk fro A to B in the first place. If you are only there for 24 hours also the Ho Ho buses are great, as you can travel around London, get off and see the sights etc.
O what a relieve the reschedulded it before the cruise. Do they give you the results then. I hope that they can do something about it. Good luck with the sleep study.
AuntLynne - You will love the new hotel (Wadorf Astoria). Just stayed there with work. It was amazing. Awesome Shower and a TV in the Bath with you. Every room has a 42inch HD TV and an Apple TV to boot!
Hope you enjoy your time in London. I live about 1 mile from Hampton Court palace. I love it there and please do not forget Bushy park it is massive!
I need to find a good small fan that will travel, too. Neither of us can sleep in silence - it really is deafening. We have to have background noise! Need to test out the ones at Target to see if they are loud enough to make a difference.
We have friends who take a sound machine everywhere. We were going to buy one but my iPad has an application now on there for the same. It sounds quite good actually. Haven't used it yet as I use ear plugs anyway because John snores soooo loud.Ear plugs are great!!
I quite like a fan noise unless the fan has a slight regular change in the sound and then that can be much worse .
I started writing down what I need to pack today...I have NO idea how i'm going to pack all this stuff!! I did get a really cool carry-on today:

I wanted a backpack so that I don't have to leave anything at left luggage in London and can just get off my plane, head through customs, and head to the Heathrow Express so that I can do my bus tour since I only have like 9 hours there.
I'm so slacking on the FE front too...usually by now I would have everything done, but I just can't figure out what I want to do this time...![]()
Some of the Paid apps allow you create your own noise by recording it and then playing it back on a loop, so if you miss your neighbours dog howling while you are away on the cruise, now you can take it with you...
The howling sound, not the actual dog
