I wonder what polish they used that just chipped off like that? Do you remember? I wonder if you could bring your own polish & basecoat.....
I'll bring some odds and ends, so if anyone has a nail emergency I'd be happy to help them out! I travel with OPI polishes, nail glue and repair silk, files, base and top coats. If I felt comfortable traveling with my Shellac lamp I'd bring that too, but I don't think the bulbs would survive the journey. But I'm serious, if anyone needs a hand with a repair or a quick polish job, I'm in cabin 6071.
Ahhh, the kindness of strangers.

That is very sweet of you.I am a bit obsessed with my nails - I'm a recovering nail biter
so I have to keep them nice and smooth and poilshed or I just can't handle it - I always bring basecoat and polish w/ me too, but I like Essie b/c the brushes are a little smaller & easier to polish for me.
That is so sweet of you, I just may take you up on that offer![]()
Useful phrases in Catalan (which is what they speak in Barca):
Hola (Oh-lah) = hello (informal)
Bon dia (bohn DEE-uh) = good morning
Bona tarda (BOH-nuh TAHR-thuh) = good afternoon
Bona nit (BOH-nuh neet) = good night
Si (see) = yes
No (noh) = no
Si us plau (see oos PLOW) = please
Gracies (GRAH-syuhs) = thank you
De res (duh rrehs) = you're welcome
Adeu (uh-THEH-oo) = goodbye
And the most important phrase of all:
On es el lavabo? (OHN ehhs uhl luh-BAH-boo) = Where is the bathroom?
I've been practicing.![]()

Hi Norman,
Thanks for offering. I've got you down for the 5A.
Everyone else, I'm still looking for participants for the Stateroom Tour....remember, we can't do it without you!

Karen,
Kevin & I are fine with waiting at the airport till 11 to share the minibus.
I like the post that said "One of the Karens" will be at DLP. Seriously, I am amazed at the number of us who share this name. I am curious as to what our moms chose for middle names. I am Karen Ann. Who else is out there?

Good Morning Everyone!!!
So, we had planned a hiking vacation in the Virginia mountains for the week of the 19th. But we're running into some trouble b/c its as hot in Virginia right now as it is here in Florida. We're re-thinking our trip.....
Is anyone somewhere that is not awfully hot right now? We are looking for vacation alternatives!

How about "Do you speak English because I don't speak Barca?"
I can speak muy poco Spanish. Do you think that will get me by?
Two weeks ago we had snow, so it is not that warm here in South Dakota. I wish it was.
Hey all,
Here is a stupid question, do you think Lion King 3D will be playing on the Magic when we cruise? It is being released September 16 in 3D and curious if it will be on the ship. Thanks!

I'm the Karen that will be at DLP...we arrive on the 5th and depart on the 9th. Andrew and I are so excited. He's not been to Europe before. I've traveled there several times for work but it was always short, very meeting focused, trips with very little time for sight-seeing.
As far as my middle name....Leah.
