Sept 09 Official thread if you booked the Bounceback or just planning to go!

We just returned a week ago and we just HAD to book the bounce back offer for free dining next September. Both my b-day and DH b-day are during the free dining promotion next year so we had to decide which one of us got to spend their big 5-0 at WDW. He won because we decided the crowds might be slightly smaller the middle of September. Either way....can't wait...only 11-1/2 months to go! Anyone else looking forward to a bounce back booking?

This thread has been changed to include anyone planning to go in September 09...bounceback bookers or anyone else planning their trips are welcome to post here! We have a ways to go, but that just gives us all plenty of time to plan every Disney detail!

A bounce back is an offer that they normally leave in your room. It gives you the opportunity to put down a deposit and re-book for next year for free dining during the end of Aug-Sept time frame. It really just gives you the opportunity to lock in that free dining and get the resort you are interested in. You must book before you check out. They may offer free dining again to the general public but this gives you the chance to book first and get your choice of resorts etc.

Mine wasn't really technically a "bounceback" but I just booked tonight for September 2009! I bit the bullet and booked club level at the Poly ..guess more overtime is in my future!

Me too!!

DH and I did it and have not told anyone!! Not DD, not our parents, no one!! We are going to surprise DD on our way to the airport (If I can keep it a secret that long)

My only concern is we have been trying for #2 so long, that I am sure it will happen now - LOL!! Oh well, we think of plan B if it does.

Here's hoping for some lower airfares in 2009!!

We also booked a bounceback 2 weeks ago when we were there. Going Sept. 27th-Oct.3rd 2009. Staying at ASMU.

Is this the official "Sept. 2009 Thread? I did see a thread under codes and rates, but somewhat different.

We booked! Staying Aug 24-Sept 2 at Pop. I'd really prefer to go closer to the middle of Sept but I don't want any school issues.

So excited to go!!! Already planning meals. Going to try CRT for the first time!!

I had to convince DH, but it was too good to pass up!

We booked the WL for next September (19th - 26th) and will also get the free dining (we didn't have free dining last week, so this will be a huge treat). I loved how short all the wait times were & I'd go again in Sept/Oct any day! But you gotta love getting an awesome deal on the hotel along with free dining.

The time frame for the bounceback offer is the end of August 2009-Sept. 30 2009. I don't remember the EXACT dates but that is the general time frame.

DH and I booked bounceback for Sept 12-20, 2009. I am already trying to pick out restaurants. DH thinks I'm crazy since I have 3 other mini vacations (including a week off at the end of OCt.) and have not planned a thing for those.

If you go to the "technical help" forum it will have a thread on how to get a countdown clock. You can also find a countdown clock you like on someone elses signature, note the website it comes from and go there to begin making your countdown clock. The technical help will then guide you on how to cut and paste it to your signature. Good luck!
