Ok so I had a trip all booked for 11/29-12/2 :cool1: It was supposed to be DBF, DM, DDad and myself. I managed to book the Dessert Party for 12/1. My parents were supposed to take a trip to the world this week with my DM's sister and brother-in-law but due to a death in the family they had to cancel :sad1: After much deliberation and convincing (I know they are crazy!) my aunt and uncle will be joining us for our December trip!

While exciting, this presents me with some ADR headaches! I managed to book a seperate Dessert Party Reservation for 2. I called when I saw the opening but the CM couldn't see it and therefore could not add 2 to my reservation, she told me to just book the 2 seperately. If I call back is there anyway they can merge the reservation numbers so we can all sit together?

I also have an early morning breakfast at Tuskerhouse scheduled (8:15am park opens at 9) for 4. They are booked solid. I tried calling and asking if 2 could be added to the reservation with no luck. Any experience with walking up and asking to add 2 to a reservation? Will they let the 6 of us through the gate early to go to Tuskerhouse and ask? Can they call the restaurant from the gate?

What about O'hana breakfast? Would 6 likely be able to eat with a reservation for 4?

We really wanted to do a character meal with Mickey but I can't find any openings for 6 : ( I know I need to keep checking everyday but I tried to so hard to get what I already have, and now I feel like I'm back at square 1!

Thanks!!!

I think the area for the Dessert Party is not that big so you will still be all together at the same party and may end sitting near them or standing to see the fireworks based on where your tables are.

Keep stalking the Disney website because ADRs come up even for hard to get places. Look for 6 as well as two for the the time you want. As a back up plan help your aunt and uncle make alternate ADRs in the same park or resort you will be eating at. Make some suggestions and ask them their preferences. You may have to make a new account for them on the Disney site since you may not be able to make an ADR at another place around the same time that you have an existing ADR.

From what I have read 'Ohana breakfast has Mickey plus Lilo and Stitch so you may not need another character meal for Mickey.

No, you can't merge them.

The best you may be able to do is request that you be seated near each other.
