We are planning a separate resort day, which i think is different than a split stay because there will be a seven night break between stays. We are doing Resort-Cruise-Resort. With a split stay, i know we can book all fastpasses at the first stay’s 60 day mark. I’ve never had experience with a separate stay though. We are just staying one night before cruise and two nights after cruise. I would prefer all park days pre-cruise, but I’m tied to a schedule.

My goal: To book fastpasses for all dates at the first stay 60 day mark, but I don’t think i can do that because of the separate stay.

Am I wrong, and can i do that?

If not... What if I booked offsite for the second stay, would that let me book all fastpasses within the 10 day limit? Kind of like what people do with a throwaway room? It would be our first time off site, but with all of the changes in parking fees and good neighbor resort privileges, I don’t think I would mind this option.

You are correct that it isn't a split stay, since there is a break in between.

If you do onsite-onsite, then you will have 2 FP windows, 60 days before check-in 1 and 60-days before check-in 2.

If you do onsite-offsite, then your window will continue to roll forward so you can book at 60 days for each of the offsite days.
