Sent in my first order of the season!

Gardens Alive! I've never ordered from them but always thought everything in their catalog seemed good. Anyway, I ordered Roses Alive today. I hope it works. I need something to make my roses grow pretty. Has anyone used Roses Alive?

I also bought a couple of seed packets at the store today. I'm getting spring fever.

Never used them before. We usually wait until they sell the rose plants at Wal-Mart or at COSTCO from Jackson and Perkins. I already have a couple of gladdiolas blooming in my garden.

I love Jackson & Perkins. If I had big bucks I would buy one of everything in their catalog.

Anyway, I ordered Roses Alive today.

Is that what they actually call them, Roses Alive? Is there a guarantee with that order?

It's actually a fertilizer not a rose.

It says you put it on your roses in early spring and then again in summer and you should get big beautiful blooms. We shall see. As I said before I'm death on roses but keep trying to grow them.

I steer clear of roses, so can't help you there. Good luck tho.

I am *trying* to pare down my upcoming order with Oakes Daylillies (love them!!!) I currently have about 30 or so on my wish list, but I am only going to order about a dozen. I figure that will get one good sized bed taken care of and then I can go from there.

Also, Bluestone Perennials is calling my name! Just got the new catalog in the mail a few days ago and it looks good! They have a pre-season sale thru mid-February right now too. Oy, not good for my wallet.
