I am planning a trip to WDW in Sept. 2017. My DH and I are traveling with my mother and father. My mom's birthday is in October and I wanted to do something special for her. My DH and I moved 2000 miles away from my parents about 4 years ago so it's been a while since we've been able to do anything special for birthdays or holidays. I was thinking that maybe a spa trip for her would be nice. When I brought this idea up to my dad, he loved it and offered to pay for my trip to the spa as well. My dad and DH want to golf while we're there so we figured that they could play a round of golf while we went to the spa. I love this idea but I'm looking for some experiences and some answers before I get my heart set on a girls trip to the spa.
1) Is it possible to book two spa packages simultaneously? Can I book the same package for me and mom and have them at the same time or do we have to stagger them and not actually see each other much while we're there?
2) My mom and I both have fibromyalgia. Obviously Disney has licensed massage therapists working at their spa but does anyone with chronic pain have any experience working with them? Will the massage therapists know how to handle our different needs?
3) What are your experiences with Senses? It seems like a fabulous spa but my spa experience is very minimal.
