Have you done this tour? What were the perks? How "up close" to the animals get? TIA!

I did it in 2019. I thought it was great! We had full access to the breakfast buffet at Boma and were given ice cold water in tour-branded reusable water bottles to take with us on the tour.

I lucked out in that there were only 2 other people who signed up for the tour so we all got extra time interacting with the animals. We were able to pet Okapis, feed giraffes and ostriches and make treats for the red river hogs.

They had a photographer on the tour with you and you get digital copies of all of the photos.

This sounds wonderful. Thx for posting. We did the night time Safari .. with the night vision goggles out of kidani and loved it. Took the latest tour, was told less kiddos and that was true. There were just a few of us. Had a great time.

Thank you for letting me know about the tour. I was wondering about the photos since I read that personal pictures were not allowed in backstage areas. I am glad you get some photos with the animals!
