Sea Day
So today was I think the only day that we ate breakfast in Lumiere's. Lumiere's was not open everyday for breakfast. Some days it was open for brunch. But most days we just slept in and got up after they had breakfast available there.
Eggs Benedict
Omelette
Now why was I up early enough for breakfast on a sea day?? I had planned a Scout patch swap event and it started at 9:30am in the Promenade Lounge. Was this the best time for this event probably not. Although I figured people would want to do other things later in the day. So a few participants sent others in their place or were unable to attend.
The kids that did attend had a good time. After the patch swap, the girls moved to Diversions as they were working on a Try-It/ Badge on travel. We moved to Diversions as the Mickey 200 was occurring in the Promenade Lounge. Tracy(winotracy) from Dreams Unlimited came and talked to the girls and they did several other activities to complete the awards.
We headed back to the room and our Castaway Club invites were waiting for us.
We then headed to the Panama Canal Presentation being put on by Ken Puckett. It was very informational and a good way to learn more about the canal. He was a senior canal pilot on the canal.
Before long it was time for the Castaway Club reception to occur. Since there were over 2000 CC members it was held on deck 9 by the Goofy Pool. They had food and drinks for us. It was the largest group of CC members to sail.
Sports Deck
We went to the show in the Walt Disney Theater, Ron Lucas was performing
Then we headed to Studio Sea, for Who Wants to Be a Mouseketeer. Our tablemate Suzanne ended up being chosen to play.
We actually left before she was finished playing to go and change for dinner. We were greeted by this guy at our room. Yep a blanket turtle.
Tonight we were in Lumiere's for dinner
Be Our Guest
Escargot
Tomato Soup
Crepes
Spring Break Beach Bash, being silly with the Jello shots.
They had trays and trays of them and not that many people showed up. I think it was because, they knew if they wanted to enjoy Acapuclo we all needed to get off the ship and be back on by 1pm in order to get to the Panama Canal on time.
