senioritis kicking in- and trip in one month...

So I am a senior in college- and I have two semesters left before I graduate. Fall and Spring. I have a trip coming up with my family at the end of October.

Problem: I can't concentrate for the life of me.

I struggled with ADD growing up (not to get too personal- it seems like everyone has it these days)... but more than anything it's because of senioritis, and being ready to graduate, get married (Nov 09!) and move to Florida!

Anyone else experiencing issues with concentration before their trip? I know you're out there! I could use some moral support.

I'm not on the verge of failing by any means- but my grades are slipping drastically... and I do want to go to graduate school.

I am the same way right now. I am due to graduate in May, and I am having the worst time concentrating in school.

OMG you are living my life!!!!!! I am brand new to disboards, but i leave for disney in 8 days!!!! and i cant function normally. i am graduating in may and moving to florida, where my long long time boyfriend lives. I too cant wait to graduate and move, and have already decided to for go grad school i cant take more school.

This is so funny because I thought I was the only one who couldn't focus. I graduate in May also and I am just dying for the summer to get here! Its been really hard for me to keep my mind on classes with the end so close in sight. At the same time it seems like it never going to get here. I guess we all just have to take in one day at a time and try to keep our excitement at bay. Hope it works out for everyone...

I graduate in December so i am really ready to be done lol. I am not concentrating nor do I want to do any work. But I am also trying to get into grad school for next fall. And I leave for the college program in january. So i have a lot going on. But you are not alone in feeling this way lol.

Yeah, I am trying to go to grad school too- so disney world is like a double threat to my G.P.A! lol

I am doing a little bit better since I posted this... brought some C back to B's.. hah. Our trip is in a little over a week! ahhh

I have senioritis really bad right now. I can't focus on doing any of my school work and always find myself being distracted by everything. I am not even sure if I will be graduating in May yet, so that makes the senioritis even worse.

Happy dance for going to WDW in 2 days! Down side I'm missing an in class project that is 5% of my grade. Thankfully I got my teacher agree to let me take the subject and apply it to Disney and present info on that.

Haha I was going to law school route. I actually just took my Lsats and have all my stuff done. I just need to pay the application fees but i decided not to go. So instead i have a ton of stuff to do to apply to grad school

Lol nice. I can't change my plans anymore...my parents will kill me. I'm afraid of the Lsats so I'm taking a year off to study for them and get refocused on the whole school thing.

Yah I havent told my parents yet. Im going to wait until after all my letters are coming and whatnot. Def study for the LSATs they are the hardest thing I have ever taken. I have taken them twice. I also took a prep course so the more time you have to study the better.

Yeah that's what I've heard. I was supposed to take them this month but chose not too because I haven't had the time to study with all my course work plus my job. It's an intimidating test. whoops gotta go. Leaving for disney in 5 minutes that makes me forget about the Lsats and all other school related problems lol.

ahhhh just finished writing my last paper before disney this upcoming weekend. .... i cant wait.. ___ school. lol

I still have 2 exams to do this week.. and that's really stressing me out.. I just wrote 2 study guides and they are 40 pages long!!!!!!!!!!!!! Psychology can be a difficult major depending upon what classes you take.

....must graduate! must not think disney at the moment! I guess procrastinating on the disboards doesn't help!

I dropped the class that I had to write a ton of papers in! lol


My only tip is to go to the dark corner of the library.. away from any disney resources or other distractions....lol
